Snowflake Challenge Day 10

Fandom Snowflake Challenge banner 2018

Day 1Day 2Day 3Day 4Day 5Day 6Day 7Day 8Day 9 ♥ Day 10

Day 10

In your own space, share your love for a trope, cliché, kink, motif, or theme. (Or a few!) Tell us what makes it work for you, and why it appeals to you so much. Talk about what you like to see in fanworks featuring that theme most. Feel free to include recs and examples!

OK, so… I almost don’t want to say. Which is horrible, because I’m pretty much kink-shaming myself. :-P If that is making sense.

Because I like darkfic. And I don’t mean just a little-spanking-so-called-darkfic. I mean down the rabbit hole absolutely horrible darkfic that could give you nightmares. That kind of darkfic.

It’s not written often, especially not in all fandoms. I think it depends on the fandom. Where darkfic is the ‘biggest’, if you could say that according to my experience, is in the Buffy-fandom. Because there’s vampires. And they survive anything and heal anything. (I’ve read fics where vampires have been cut to pieces. Literary. And been kept that way. Ehm…) So so much good darkfic in that fandom.

But to my surprise, once I learned how to use the fic warnings in various archives, there’s quite a lot of darkfic going on in the Tokio Hotel fandom to. Once you know HOW to look for them, they’re there. There’s more than you might think. And a lot of it is really good!

Not that much in the Pirates-fandom. Interestingly enough since there’s various variations of zombie-pirates… In the Pirates-fandom there’s, however, a lot of cliché fic! All the pirate-clichés you can think off! *lol* However, in the Pirates-fandom there’s quite a few fic where the writer has incorporated real historic people, pirates from history. Which is interesting. :-)

Oh, another fandom where you could find quite a bit of darkfic was in the Sons of Anarchy fandom, but that’s not so strange, is it? That whole TV-show was a darkfic in and off itself. *lol* Since the show has ended though there’s not much action going on in the fandom. A shame.

So… WHY do I like darkfic so much? I think it’s the same thing why I loved dark biographies when I grew up. I mean, I read some seriously dark stories when I grew up, apart from all the fantasy books I read. As an example two of my favorite books from when I was… 14 or 15 years old are Phantom by Susan Kay and And I don't want to live this life - A mother's story of her daughter's murder by Deborah Spungen, which should tell you a lot. :-)

And then there’s the little thing about my loving tru crime stories, and that’s pretty dark to, isn’t it? So I guess I just like dark stories, be it fiction, biographies or fanfic. :-)

Snowflake Challenge Day 9

Fandom Snowflake Challenge banner 2018

Day 1Day 2Day 3Day 4Day 5Day 6Day 7Day 8 ♥ Day 9

Day 9

In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you have created. It can be your favorite fanworks that you've created, or fanworks you feel no one ever saw, or fanworks you say would define you as a creator.

Help? I'm not a creator, I'm a consumer when it comes to fandoms. I really am.

My current obsession, as I've said, are YouTube vids where fans discuss various things.

But I've read tons and tons and tons of fanfic previous years and years involved in fandoms. And I did try to write as well.

And what I've learned is I was the best at writing quick drabbles. In specific What-If-drabbles. So I did that a lot for a while there.

I did try to do a writing-challange once, which produced a bit of drabbles for sure, that were just a little longer. In the Buffy fandom I mostly wrote them short drabbles.

I have written ONE fanfic, a little bit longer smutty one, but just one. So there's that.

And I've written in so so so many roleplaying games. (During the height of the Buffy fandom, I even got awarded as the best roleplayer in a couple of games...)

Anyhow, I am not sure what to link to, so I'll just link to my tag My Fanfic, and you can cruise along there.

Also, here's the one and only sorta proper fanfic I've written to. It was betad and everything! It takes two

100 questions meme: Day 3-10

3: what random objects do you use to bookmark your books?

Anything I can get my hand on that's flat enough. :-) Most commonly though? A random sheet of paper or toilette paper. Yes, toilette paper. I do read books in there, not only guys do. :-P

4: how do you take your coffee/tea?

I don't drink coffee, despite my country being one of the countries that drink the most coffee. :-) I drink tea. With just honey in it. Not sugar, that tastes disgusting. Just honey. And 95% of the time I drink it in my travel mug. :-)

5: are you self-conscious of your smile?

Not hugely, no. :-) I've been told it's quite a nice smile. If a little crocked. :-) I do smile alot, since I think that is a small way to make the world a happier place. As a librarian you smile a lot at your job as well. Not hard as a school-librarian though. Most of the kids are awesome. :-)

6: do you keep plants?

I do indeed! Even though I'm not that great at caring for them. I forget the water them at times and such. But for some reason orchids thrive here. I have NO IDEA way! But I have orchids EVERYWHERE here! And they bloom! A LOT! I also have a chili peper plant that Peting got as a birthday gift from Spicehobbit. :-) It has started to bloom and have fruit again! It's not the strongest chili peper there is, but it apparently has quite a bit of kick to it still.

7: do you name your plants?

Nope. :-) I do talk swear to them. X-D

8: what artistic medium do you use to express your feelings?

Writing and talking. :-) If that counts? And of course... RPGs, roleplaying pen-paper style and... LARP!

9: do you like singing/humming to yourself?

Not so much singing/humming. I do walk around talking to myself though. Especially at work. X-D

10: do you sleep on your back, side, or stomach?

When I go to bed I stretch out on my back for a bit, and then I turn on my side falling asleep. And, according to Peting, I move around a lot in the bed. I'll take his word for it. :-)

Fun Swedish Number calls, watching TV, family, work, fangirling, Prince...

I promised to say if I got any fun calls on The Swedish Number as a random swede. And I did some time ago actually. While doing dishes. In my pajamas. X-D

I had made myself available to take calls, and I got a call. And it was from a radio station in Paraguay. And I was suddenly live talking on the air.

...

Yes, I'm not even kidding. X-D We had a bit of a language problem since I couldn't speak spanish and they could barely speak english! *LOL* But we made do, and it worked out moderately fine. They wanted to know why I was taking calls, if I thought it was fun. Approximately where I lived in Sweden (so they could look on a map) and the best things I could recommend about Sweden (NATURE, NATURE, NATURE! And Allemansrätten!).

That was a FUN call! The guys were really cute. One of them could speak moderately well english. And I found out he'd learned it from movies. In particular, the Star Wars movies. Apparently such a big fan, he was called Jedi. Ha ha ha! SO AWESOME! They tracked my twitter down after I gave the name to them, so now I know what the station is called. Mandiorama! A bunch of true gentlemen, to be quite honest! So if you know spanish, well... ;-)

Here's their twitter: @Mandiorama and their Facebook: Mandiorama.

Since then I haven't taken that many calls, though. :-P I've amused myself to catch up on the the swedish TV show Let's Dance instead, which is the swedish version of Dancing with the stars. :-) It's very campy and cheesy and filled with clichés, but I can't help but love it.

I also follow a very nice documentary series that try to understand the many many beggers from Romania we have here in the city were I live, Borås. It has become a problem, and the question is HOW to help all these people the best? The documentary series is not saying it has an answer, it just wants to show that these are people too, they have a reason for being here and have lives like everyone else. It's gut-wrenching to watch, but important to, I believe.

What's more been going on? Not much. After Alexandra's run in with high fevers and that fever cramp, things has been going on as normal with her. Nothing strange there.

We visited mom and celebrated her birthday, which was GREAT! :-D When I asked mom what she wanted she said she wanted socks. OK then! The woman wanted socks, she’ll get socks. *LOL* So I bought a lot of fun ones from SockDreams. Made me giggle, and I knew mom would love it. :-)

Only problem was that for some reason they had some problem in the US, namely LA, when the package was to be shipped, so I didn’t get it until it was too late. And I’d ordered it with plenty time to! So she got some flowers instead and we decided she’d get her gift when next we meet.

Two days after we got home, her socks arrived. Which Alexandra thought was so much fun, so day after they’d arrived she decided that we were going to post grandma a package with her socks. *LOL* And Alexandra was SOOOO DETERMINED! So we wrapped them up, we sorta wrote a letter and after dinner we went to the nearest post office and posted it. Alexandra thought it was SO MUCH FUN!

Alexandra and the package to grandma! )

Silly girl. *lol* Mom loved to get a surprise package though, so I’d call it a success. :-)

Work, well… it’s insane as ever. Preparations for our move from our temporary premises is in full swing behind the scenes. I’ve seen furniture and shelves for the new library presented from four companies, and it looks wonderful. Once everyone else have decided what company they like the most, it’ll be decided and work to start furnish the school and library will start. This a slow process though, and I’m already stressed over August when school starts up again. (That’s healthy… not.) I’m really looking forward to have a totally fresh and new library though! :-D

When not working I’m totally fangirling online like always. A lot of time goes to roleplaying with @Duodeathstar. And to help [livejournal.com profile] tattooofhername with her MASSIVE fic Transition! Dark, so very dark a fic. But DAMN! It’s SO GOOD! Proud to be a part of that. :-D

Talking off fandom’s and such, one of my new friends on my friendslist, [livejournal.com profile] denorios, has written SUCH an interesting piece of meta on the evolution of fandoms. And it’s SO GOOD! You need to go read it stat! Who is the best fan? The one who followed the band/actor before they were popular? Or the fans that just discovered them? Or are ALL fans just as good? ;-)

What are your thoughts on the evolution of fandom?

You can probably guess my view on the matter. ;-)

Sad thing lately, and well… All of 2016 is all the artistic icons that keep dying this year. Latest in the list is Prince who died last night (my time).
He was such an amazing artist and seemed to have been an amazing human being to. I’m quite sure he’ll be greatly missed. Not only by fans, but family I’m sure.

Here’s Prince’s halftime show from SuperBowl 2007, which is so damn impressive. Pouring rain, lightning and thunder… And what does he do? Rock on in one hell of a halftime show on a slick stage with electric lights, playing several electric guitars and walking around on crazy high heels. The man rocked. Hands down.

50 Day's meme: Day One!

Haven't done a meme in a while, so I figured it would be time again. :-) And if I've collected any new readers since last? Great way to get to know me. And maybe be fun for my old friends to read to, who knows?

Here goes!

DAY ONE: introduce yourself / list your likes and dislikes

Introduce myself? OK. I'm 37 year old librarian, mother of one and living with [livejournal.com profile] peting73. I've only been employed since March but I've had my national masters degree in Library and Information Science for years. It's tough getting a job as a librarian, especially in the area where I live, so I am very grateful I have one. I do, however, work at a school with a lot of troubled kids and a sickly, somewhat eccentric colleague... And we've just moved the WHOLE library from one premise to another. So my job ain't easy, but on the other hand I'm not bored either.

My daughter Alexandra has just turned 2 years old, and is a cutie. Pretty calm a kid and easy going. She does have her crazy temper tantrums, but they usually pass quickly. She's easy to bring to parties or visits or social things to. She likes people, whether they be kids or adults. Guess she got that from mom. Can be a bit mischievous to. Which I blame dad for. ;-)

[livejournal.com profile] peting73 is my soulmate. I would not know what to do without that man in my life. I am beyond grateful that I meet him.

When I'm not at home with my wonderful family, or visiting mom or MIL... (Who are both slightly crazy, kick ass and wonderful.) Well, then I do roleplaying online, tabletop RP or LARP. Mostly the local vampire-LARP that I've been doing since 2001. It's my greatest hobby and the other people that are members of the LARP are some of my dearest friends. Me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73 are among the oldest ones, but I don't care. Friendship don't care about age, really. Most of my wonderful friends are much younger than me, which goes for online friends as well.

So, likes: My family, extended big and crazy or just us three. My best friend in the whole wide world, [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit (who is also Alexandra's godmother). Movies, books, vampires, medieval history, legands, myths, cats, wolves, wolverines, computers, rpg's, LARP's, piercings, tattoos... I could go on. :-)

Dislikes: Dishonesty, bullying, war. Could make a longer list, but it would be insanely long and those where the first that jumped up in my mind.

All the days!  )

Losing a friend...

I don't even know how to start this post, but...

I found out I've lost a really good friend yesterday. She killed herself. Slit her wrists and her throat. Less than two weeks ago.

We'd known each other for about 5 years. She was such a wonderful woman. Struggling with the incurable disease Lupus or SLE, not to mention sever depression and numerous other problems. She struggled on, and found joy in fandoms, fanfic and roleplaying.

And we bonded over that. We did several roleplaying lines. Mostly really dark, thriller or horror, since we both enjoyed doing that.

We had so much fun! And she said, numerous times, that talking to me and roleplaying with me helped her a lot. She smoked a lot of weed when I started talking to her, but she stopped that habit, crediting me for it. I don't know if it's true or not, but I am proud of the fact she managed to quit.

She has a son to. A gorgeous boy, who I think is 9 or 10 by now.

She pushed me when I struggled through IVF to get my darling girl. Cheering me on all the way. She'd planned to adopt her son, but changed her mind and loved him dearly, no matter how tough her life was.

And it was. I won't tell everything here, because hey... told in confidence, but holy fuck. Let's just say I'm happy my family is the good kind of crazy... So that she managed to make such a good life for herself and her kid, is amazing.

She had her support, of course. A good friend who stayed by her side through thick and thin and that she was a roommate with, sharing a house.

Sadly, that was not enough. A lot happened to both of us. And me, I could not be there for her the same way that I used to. I got my daughter. And then I started working fulltime. And since she lived in New Zealand, the time-difference ended up being a huge issue. I feel sick to my stomach thinking about it, but yeah... I did my best, and when I saw that she'd cut herself I sent her an email of course. No response, but I didn't expect one since I knew she didn't respond any when she was really down, even if she always read everything.

And then, when I saw a coffin on her instagram, I thought it was her room-mate that had died, and passed my condolence. It wasn't. I got an answer from him, who she'd left her password to where he told me she'd died, killed herself.

I still can't believe it. And I ache and hurt for her sweet son. Now stuck in child services, despite seeing her best friend and roommate as family... Just wish I could help him.

*sigh*

Rest In Peace, Tashé. I hope you know that you were so very very loved. And not alone.

Fandom-meme, because why the hell not?

Alright. Gonna do this fandom meme that I've seen floating around, even if I am somewhat late to join in, but what the helll...

1. What's the worst fanfic you've ever written/have thought about writing?

I'm not a writer, never considered myself one. I do, however, have a Prompt-document where I collect ideas/bunnies or whatever you wanna call it. I sometimes throw them at writers I know or most often than not at various fests. And there are some of them that are... Pretty crazy. *lol* They'll never be written, most likely, but yes. There are some nuts stuff there. Especially when I stumble upon websites or links and then my mind starts working. I'll show two as examples:

42. Any pairing (NO twincest!)

There is surfing on the internet. There is living on two sides of the ocean. There are travels. There is boredom. There is times when one is so horny it hurts and your significant other is far away. Good thing then, eh, that technology has done some serious leaps and bounds in this day and age! Because with a little help from LovePalz, distance is no longer a problem…

LovePalz with commentary (feel free to take inspiration!): http://kseenaa.tumblr.com/post/46293135556/nanibgal-goddessofcheese-psdo-wugs

LovePalz website so you know it is all true. :-)
https://www.lovepalz.com/

43. Gustav/Anyone

Gustav has a sister. A sister that loves teasing the hell out of her little brother when she gets the chance. So when she stumbles upon these… she sends the link to her brother, who of course tell her to go fuck off… but secretly keeps the link and buys a pair… Because really… It’s just too brilliant. And his significant other has NO complaints after an evening playing around with these! In fact, he wants a chance to use them to…

Vibrating drumsticks…: http://www.shopinprivate.com/phil-varone-sex-stix.html

Seriously, Internet? What do you DO to my brain?

2. Admit to a kink you're ashamed you like.

I am not ashamed per say about any kinks, really. But the one that is most rarely written and one can get some raised eyebrows at... is daddy-kink. And I really really love that. Also, I have a HUGE thing for darkfic with gore and all the trimmings, and that... can cause a few raised eyebrows as well. Especially since I can NOT watch horror-movies without getting nightmares. I know. Makes no sense what so ever.

3. Copy paste a line from the first smutty fanfic you wrote or fess up to a sexual fantasy you have about a character.

I don't write. I only cheat a little in drabbles. And I do a lot of RP where there's smut galore. But fic-wise? Well... Let's see if I can find a drabble that has smut in it. An early one. And, of course, the first drabble with smut in it is a dark one. And a crossover one, True Blood/Tokio Hotel.

Throwing the boy over his desk, Eric squeezed himself before pulling the boys shorts down... Those fucking eyes always got to him... Can’t have that. And he had such a nice body... A strong body. He would probably last longer than most... Not caring about preparing him, Eric pushed in... It always got a sound out of him, and he wanted to hear him...

“Gah! Oh gawd... SHIT! Ah... Fuck...”

And there it was... Eric smirked a bit, smelling the boys blood in the air... Leaning over him, he licked his neck, feeling the pulse thrum hard under the thin skin... Biting his neck next to an old scar, Eric could feel how the boy got more frantic under him, the pain more or less forgotten... mixed with pleasure now... Such sweet delicious blood... Tinged with pain, fear and pleasure... Just the right mix.

“No... Yes... Geezes, PLEASE!!!”

Not even touching him, Eric just let go of the wound and whispered in the boys ear. “Come.” And he did. Hard. Marking his desk. Again. The way his warm body clutched around him, more or less pulled Erics own orgasm out of him... And he filled the boys bleeding ass silently, nearly pushing both boy and desk across the room...

Shut up.

4. Have you ever read or written RPS/RPF?

I'd say Tokio Hotel counts. It's the only fandom where I've read RPS.

5. Most shameful ship?

I'm not ashamed of any ship I've enjoyed reading. I usually go for the rare or odd ones.

6. Ever been at the center of fandom drama?

Yeah, or at least RP-drama. Big community of players in the Buffyfandom when there was a lot of RP going on in said fandom. Was part of a whole community of players then. Mod asked for help from me. Then blamed all the problems in the game on me. All other roleplayers believed her. Things were hell for awhile and I didn't do any RP for... at LEAST 6 months or so. Not to fun, no.

7. What is your fandom guilty pleasure?

I have no idea what they mean here... Guilty pleasure? Roleplaying as a gay man maybe? I don't know...

If you have a better idea, let me know what I could answer here... Really. Suggestions are welcome.

8. Share something you did in fandom that you're embarrassed about.

I bashed another fandom without meaning to once. To me, it felt like I was drowning and got said fandom pushed at me all the time. "Like this!" "You have to like that!" "You gotta see this!" And it got to much for me and I kicked back just to get people to stop already. It wasn't very nice of me, I know. But hey... Live and learn, I guess.

9. Describe the first time you read a smutty fanfic. What ship was it and what kinks were involved?

A long time ago. And not even in Sweden. It was during my time in the US that I discovered the Xena-fandom and started reading fanfic. I can't pinpoint exact day and fic, but... I am 100% sure it was Xena/Gabrielle. I think there was bondage and whips involved. (It's Xena, come on...) And maybe some voyeurism as well, not 100% sure. So I started my fanfic-reading career with femme-slash.

10. Any fandoms you'd hate to admit you were a part of?

Nope. Not ashamed of any of them. Have a list:

Robin of Sherwood, Xena the Warriorprincess, Buffy the Vamprieslayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel, Sons of Anarchy...

11. Just how often do you think about your favorite characters getting down and dirty?

Considering I usually roleplay my favorite characters in smutty (more or less... most often then not more...) settings... You don't even wanna know.

12. Someone found your delicious account/bookmarks/AO3 account or however you keep track of your favorite fics. What's the one fic you're going to be most humiliated about?

Probably some daddy-kink fic... or the one with necrophilia. Yeah. Any of those.

13. Ever been caught reading smut/writing smut/drawing smut/looking at smutty drawings?

Peting's computer is right next to mine, so I'd say yes. And he looks and comments sometimes. Yes, he is very straight. Yes, he thought looking at gay porn was disgusting when he first meet me (although never had anything against gay-people... just didn't wanna see.). And then, well... he meet me. He is so used to it now he don't even raise an eyebrow.

14. What would your parent/guardian/family friend think if they saw your tumblr LiveJournal?

Peting: "Still the same fandom? Same old, same old... What does she wanna know about the male anatomy today?"

Spicehobbit: "RPS? AAAAH! My eyes!" *beat* "Where's the Les Misarables post...?"

Mom: "So this is what it actually looks like? Interesting..."

Brother: "You're nuts."

Had my father lived he'd have calmly told me to get out of the house more.

15. Oh shit you croaked without getting rid of the fandom stuff you saved to your computer. What's your next of kin or friend going to find when they turn on your computer?

They'd find a very orderly set of files and subfiles. So it's very easy to find on my comptuer. Photos, fanart, fanfic... The only thing I've hidden is my hentai-folder. *cough* So anyone would have to work a little to find that one. Hopefully they won't and I'll be able to stop anyone from looking in that deep dark pit.

PotC-fan has a rant... And the reason for my absence.

I rewatched Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides the other day. Well, I've rewatched all four of them since I ended up in a roleplaying Will Turner, cursed Captain of the Flying Dutchman in a RPG (slashed with Dean Winchester from Supernatural. Yep. It works.). And I LOVE and adore the first three movies! Well, my favorites being Dead Man's Chest and At Worlds End, what with the story-arc of Will Turner and the AWESOMENESS that is The Flying Dutchman and crew! (Yes, I fangirl a ship. Shut up.)

But the last movie, On Stranger Tides? It just don't... have the the same feeling. The same heart. Everyone just says that it's just because there's no Will Turner in it that I don't like it. And yeah, that's partly the reason, but not all.

I mean, I don't mind to much the fact there's no Will Turner in it.

No. What I do mind, however...

Is that Will Turner's and Elisabeth Swan's story arcs, so tightly woven together with Jack Sparrow's story arc... is totally ignored. When watching the forth movie, it's like you can just forget everything that happened in the first three, like they didn't matter. And THAT... is what bothers me the most. And I doubt that'll improve if/when the fifth movie arrives...

And now I've ranted about that. Just had to get that off my chest.

Talking about fandoms though, I have started working with a brilliant layout-maker to make a layout for [livejournal.com profile] tokiohotelslash. It'll cost me a bit from my own pocket, but hey... I think it's worth it. That place needs some loving. :-) And I can't wait to see what she'll come up with, since she does both coding and graphics. Gonna be fun! :-)

That's that about fandoms.

Now to the reason for my absence, if anyone even cares...

I've felt a bit low, if you will. Because I've had some serious troubles with the unemployment fund. I mean, I do qualify for support so should get money from them. BUT!!! And this is what had me so bothered...

Because I worked in June 2012. Like, mayorly pregnant and close to when Alexandra was born. I only worked in the big City Library for three hours that day. The only day that month. And then, a month and a week or so later, Alexandra was born. And my life as a new mom and getting used to that started.

Thing is. I never reported in those hours. I never got paid for them, since the finance department / payroll never ever got my paperwork. That also meant that I couldn't get a certificate of employment...

This, as it showed, got me in some serious troubles with the unemployment fund. :-/

Because they NEEDED that certificate of employment or I wouldn't get ANY money from them. They had ALL the paperwork they needed to, and had doublechecked with all the finance departments / payrolls of every job I've had these last years, since that is what they do. And when doing that, they noticed one certificate of employment was missing.

Now.

That meant I had to hand in my report on them hours to the finance department / payroll... more than one year late. Since I did the job in June 2012. And I had to have my then boss at the City Library sign it. She had no problems doing that. There were records of me working said hours at the library. So she did.

Then I called the finance department / payroll again telling them paperwork is on the way! At which point they told me it wasn't certain they COULD get me in their records since it was so long ago, and it's a new year and all that... But that they would try and I just had to wait since they went through all the paperwork for those hired by the hour in the mid/end of the month.

Which left me in limbo, pretty much, and living of [livejournal.com profile] peting73. He don't mind, but all this trouble left me feeling very down, I have to say.

And then there was this trouble with LJ and ALL the drama that came with it since there are too many people in too many fandoms that don't think but just spread rumors and... Yeah. That to pulled me down. (Here's some info on that issue, btw. From staff. In the USA, if that makes you feel better: Info from [livejournal.com profile] markf HERE.)

So I pretty much stopped reading on LJ. Stopped posting. Stopped reading fanfic. Stopped everything. Except chatting with my friends. Roleplaying with them. And helping them with THEIR fic. Because I just couldn't deal with all the rest.

LJ, fandom, fanfics... roleplaying. It's supposed to be fun, and it wasn't. I am now slowly, ever so slowly, getting back to it. It still feels fun. And I hope it'll continue to be that.

I am alive. Have a bullet-list to prove it.

I know I haven't been around in a while, and I do apologize for that. Or maybe I shouldn't. If you've stuck around, I suppose that is a good thing. Am a bit down tonight, but I'll try to make a sorta update anyway.

So much has happened since last, I think I'll make it into a bullet-list instead, because otherwise this post will be a fucking novel, and I wouldn't wanna do that to my dear friends on my f-list.

  • LARP is still good and a lot of fun. I was a bit behind on things like plots and stuff, but apparently my partner in crime there, whose character I play a servant to, was a bit behind on things as well, so together we got caught up and now we are ready to make mischief again. Fun, fun!

  • My brother, who as I've mentioned before, had a divorce, is doing SOOOO much better! He misses his kids terribly those weeks they are with their mother, but drowns himself in work then, so he can spend more time with his kids when they are with him. He really is doing his best, and is a great father, I swear! And a hardworking farmhand to, definitly.

  • Been visiting my brother, since he had his birthday not to long ago, and damn... That was A LOT of fun! Now when he is doing a lot better after said divorce, he is pretty much back to what he was like when we grew up. At least the bickering between us, according to our mother. X-D Hilarious!

  • My mom is doing good to, she is as crazy as ever. You heard about the operetta The Merry Widow? Dude, she got that one beat. *LOL* She is out dancing and hanging with her sister and her friends, and she is knitting like crazy for her three grandkids and... How the hell she has time to work, I have no idea. But she is happy, healthy and... slightly nuts, so who am I to complain? :-) Oh, and she's 60 years old. If it hadn't been for her white hair, you wouldn't have been able to tell.

  • On that note, I found one white hair in my forehead. Only one. I am apparently getting old. I give it 20 more years, tops, and I'll have as paper white hair as my mom.

  • Fandom wise I have slacked off a bit with going through the members list of [livejournal.com profile] tokiohotelslash. Which I feel bad about. I have kept up posting on [livejournal.com profile] gs_daily pretty well, which I feel good about. And I think the pimp-posts I do at [livejournal.com profile] tokiohotelslash are appreciated. I haven't gotten much feedback, but I do hope so. There has been a bit more posts in that community since I took over and started them pimp-posts, so I see that as a positive thing. When I have the energy and talked to mods of other big communities, I have another plan for said community I want to kick off... Will have to finish going through all them members first though. :-P

  • I've started up another RP with my darling friend from New Zealand. Damn that woman and her brain. Who knew a crossover between Pirates of the Caribbean and Supernatural would work out so fine? And that Dean Winchester and Captain Will Turner of the Flying Dutchman would make such a great, if doomed, pairing? :-) The RP I do with [livejournal.com profile] snowstormskies is still going very strong as well. Torg-strong. *LOL* I love it to bits, and she being a fic-writer from start, she sure keeps me on my toes, taking a whole other take on this RP-thing! I have a ton of fun with it. :-D Much love on you two girls for giving me such a gift as being able to play with you. Honored. Really. :-)

  • Alexandra is doing really good. Goes to the daycare center Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday ever week. 8am to 1pm. Gives me some time to myself looking for work and being a bit housewifey. If I get hired by the hour though, the hours she's there changes or days changes if needed. The staff is really great there, even if I it does take a bit to walk there, something I am not to fond off.

  • Talking off... I did work this week. Wednesday and Thursday. For the first time since I had Alexandra. At a school-library at a school with a lot of troubled kids. Helped a bunch of kids. Had to throw out a bunch of loud rude kids. Got questions about my piercings and tattoos. Got called a racist. I felt right at home. :-) I really hope I get to work there again or at another school-library. I love working with kids, any age. Seriously. So awesome!

  • When not working I am trying to make sense of the websites for the unemployment fund AND the employment office, since I have to report on to both continuously . Their rules have changed since I was unemployed last. Both for the better and for the worse... I think I have figured it out now though. :-) If I do one thing wrong, I'll be cut off from my unemployment benefits. Fair, but damn... that is a lot of stuff to keep in mind to make sure of that. o.O *has a list*

  • My best friend, [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit and I are still working our way through Supernatural. We have the last two episodes of season 5 to watch before we can start up on season 6. Our current amusement is to guess how much more angsty it can get... The show still keep surprising us with upping the angst even more. *LOL* We truly enjoy it though, I gotta say. A show that I thought was worse than it was. Keeps proving me wrong. Well done, Supernatural!

  • I also preordered Sons of Anarchy Season 5 and since it arrived I keep working my way through that one again. I did watch it without subtext at one point, but there's one character with a pretty thick accent... *cough*Chibs*cough* ... that I just can't follow or understand without subtext, so now I actually understand the plot of the season much MUCH better! Can't wait to see season 6, seriously... That show keeps throwing me curve balls...

And so it ended up a novel anyway. Points to you if you managed to read through all that. Now I am going to bed since we'll be home both me and Alexandra tomorrow. She has a bit of a cold right now, so nothing to exiting for us.

Laters!

Roleplay... drama? Troubles? Misunderstandings? Not sure... Have some history to.

Just to get some background here, let's take a walk down memory lane and my roleplay history...

My roleplaying history... )

But after a while, I had NO ONE to play with! In any fandom! That won't do... And since I have a friend who was curious at it, we tried it out she and I. And after some misshaps, we started playing a game, a story-line, that got REALLY interesting, REALLY fast! :-D

Now for the issue... )

Help? Some advice needed? Or just a thought? Anything?

Life as a mom... including fandom stuff and TV-shows and LARP and I don't even know what...

I've been failing quite hard with updates. If anyone would be interested in my life, that is. :-P

Alexandra grows so fast, I am having a hard time keeping up at times. She is soon 1 year old. o.O Where the HELL did time go? It'll be worse as she gets older, won't it...? *eyes mothers on f-list*

I don't do hugely much during the days. I try to get us out of the apartment at least once a day. Which makes me spread out my grocery shopping, so I just get a little a day, and go many days instead. Also, less to carry. And I have a tendency to forget things. *lol*

I planned to update about... something. But now I can't for the life of me remember what it was. I'll just continue to ramble, and maybe all you lot can make some sense out of it. *lol*

Baby Swimming class is all over and done with for Alexandra now. When we started, 16 weeks ago, she loved it. Then midway through, she started to be really fussy and crying after 15-20mins (each class was 30mins long) and then cry until I put her in the pram (after shower and cleaning...)... But the last two times went better... So I'll definitely keep this swimming thing up. I think it is good for her. Having a kid afraid of water is not an option when I LOVE to be in the water myself.

Also, I am watching up on Supernatural, since [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit still gets to borrow season after season from one of her work-mates. Currently I am working my way through season 4. Yes, Castiel is pretty cool. Yes, this show seriously SERIOUSLY needs a subtitle. And that subtitle would be ANGST! *lol* Haven't finished off the season, so no spoilers please.

Talking about spoilers, thanx to my f-list for putting everything about Game of Thrones behind a cut. Swedish television will most likely not show season three until autumn/winter... So I will most likely not see it until then. LJ-cuts are my lovely friend, I will admit. Can't wait to watch more though!

And about Game of Thrones... I saw this today, and honestly.. It made my day! X-D I laughed SO HARD!

11 reasons why Xena is better then Game of Thrones!

Awesome, ain't it? X-D Either that or I am easily amused.

I've also checked out the Netflix series Hemlock Groove. Because I love werewolves almost as much as I love vampires. And hey, younger brother Skarsgård has one of the leads in it. Bill Skarsgård, that is. So I started to watch it. And got a flashback to Twin Peaks so hard my head started to spin! X-D And not in a bad way! If you get a chance, I highly suggest checking this series out. It is very well made and really good! :-D And got the coolest werewolf transformation I've yet to seen, seriously... AWESOME take on werewolf-myth there!

What I've been doing more?

Well... I've spent my evenings doing RP in g-chatt and G-docs with [livejournal.com profile] snowstormskies. She'd never ever done RP before, so when we started out, it was some misunderstandings with what RP really is and what you do and how it works and so on... I've been doing it for YEARS! Not to mention I LARP and do classical pen-paper-dice-roleplay to. But [livejournal.com profile] snowstormskies? Total beginner. But now? Now she's got the hang of it. AND HOW! It has been a LOOOONG time since I had this much fun in an RP. :-) The plot wasn't that complicated to start. But like with all RP's... It grew. And our characters took on a life. And now, at least I, am DAMN addicted... :-D

Also, older gang-Geo and hurt-jackrabbit-young-BotTom? Dude. It is fun. And how! X-D

The other day though, [livejournal.com profile] snowstormskies scared the shit out of me. She wanted to publish our RP on AO3 and was all excited about it. Now I've never let anyone not involved read my RP's. Unless you are the person I RP with, of course. Then you'll get it all, grammar and spelling mistakes as it is! So to publish that... feels weird, since it is quite private to me. We came to an understanding though, and she promised not to post it on any fic-sites, but IF (big if) it gets posted anywhere it'll be on our private LJ's or on our own community [livejournal.com profile] hydrafics. It would still feel weird to me, but if posted there? I can deal with it. :-) I don't feel like I belong on a fic-site, really. :-P

Anyway!

Talking about RP makes me think about the vampire-LARP as well! We go one time each me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73. Last LARP it was [livejournal.com profile] peting73s turn, and he had a lot of fun like always. :-D I love his character. He is SO AWESOME! X-D Think 1970's punkrocker with a cherry attitude and befriended with all the homeless people on the streets who he helps... and is a vampire to boot! *lol* He is SO CUTE! X-D

My character on the other has had some magic done to her of one sort or another which leaves her being a total bitch... on PMS. It is good that at least one of her two lovers (!) is effected by the same magic to. And yes. She DOES have two lovers! :-D One financially smart guy and one fighter all muscles and brawn. It is SO MUCH FUN to play out! :-D And yeah, I am good friends with both boys playing her lovers. :-D

I love the LARP and all the friends I've made there. Seriously. So glad my friend [livejournal.com profile] kaijn dragged me there way back in 2003 even though I had NO idea what it was all about back then. :-) Now I've been doing this none-stop for 10 years... Scary thought. X-D

Hey, this turned longer then planned! :-D It happens. ;-) I'll get better at updating! I hope at least. ;-)

An intro post of sorts... (Must have been ages since I did that last...)

I'd written up half an intropost of sorts... and then lost the draft. Well, dammit! *lol* Oh well. Let's see if I can do it again...

Me

I am born 19th of July 1977, making me 35 years old. I grew up on the countryside, but now lives in a city. And very happy about that! My hobbies include fangirling online, reading books, watching movies and TV-shows, gaming (WoW), LARP, roleplaying (online or pen-paper), hanging out with family and friends or just being plain lazy. :-D

Family

I am a new mom, since my daughter Alexandra ([livejournal.com profile] mini_viking for photos...) was born 9th of August. I've been with my fiancé/hubby since 2003, and we do love each other just as much today as we did then. Now it just has added to it what with being parents. :-) And no, we ain't married. It took me 6 years wait to get the first ring, so I guess paitence is a virtue. ;-)

Then there's mom. She is as insane as me, and with a mind WAY pervier then me... My goodness! If you at any point think I am bad, you should have a discussion with my mom one day. ;-) She grew up a city girl, but moved to the countryside with my dad. She is a nurse, and very good at it to loving her job! She really rocks at cheering up people with her special sense of humor, be they young or old. ;-)

Dad, who was also one HELL of a man, if you ask me. :-) He sadly died 2002 though. I miss him still, probably always always will. All the fun we've had, and all the stuff he taught us. He was a farmerboy, through and through. :-D Grew up on a farm and worked on it from the moment he could walk. But having a love for anything with an engine, he ended up a mechanic. He will probably always be the most handy/practical person I've ever meet. No one will beat him there. Didn't matter what broken thing you gave him. He fixed it. Well, the only thing he didn't get was computers. *lol*

And then theres' my little brother, four years younger then me. :-) He takes after dad, extremly handy/practical and can fix almost anything you give him. He has a wonderful wife and two kids, and I am oh so very VERY proud of him! When we were kids we were fighting almost all the time, then we moved away from home and grew apart some... But now we are closer then ever. :-D I do so very much love him and his family. :-) He wouldn't dream of living in a city. Cities stresses him out somewhat. *lol* He lives on the countryside and works as a farmhand on a bigger farm.

My extended family is HUGE! HUGE and insane and loving and just... crazy. X-D I got my sense of humor and my straightforwardness from somewhere after all... ;-)

Also, there's my two crazy cats Skuld and Verdandi who me and hubby got after we've lived together for a year... they are 7 or 8 years old by now, but still as crazy as they were when they were kittens... :-)

Friends

My best friend, my sister in all but blood is [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit. She's been my friend through thick and thin. We've had each others backs since we were 13 years old. And since both of us are 35 now, that makes us best friends for 22 years... o.O We've decided when we get past 60, we'll go to an amusement park with our walking sticks, be seniour nuisances and be a pain in the ass to the teens! X-D

I also have plenty, plenty friends in the local vampire-LARP club. I am oldest woman there, most of them younger then me, but eh... :-) I love them they are awesome all around. Sweet girls and boys more or less goth all of them. :-) I love meeting them every time it is time for a LARP! And I love hanging out with them randomly to!

And then there's my online-friends... SO MANY!!! I've lost a few since I started hangning out online and be active in various fandoms, but I've gained many. And many have stayed through the years to. :-) Most of them I've found here on LJ.

LiveJournal

I've been on Livejournal since December 2003. This place is MORE then "just" a blogging-site or journaling-site. It is hard to put into words, but it's safe to say this is my HOME on the net.

Fandoms

Now to the interesting stuff, right? ;-)

When me and my best friend got to know each other Robin of Sherwood ran on swedish television. We both got extremly hooked and wrote fanfic (terrible Mary Sues!) and drew fanart back then. We didn't know anything about fandoms and fanfics though, since this was before the internet pretty much, and we didn't know anything about fanzines. :-)

Then I went to live in the USA (yes, I lived there for a year, working as an aupair in the state of New Hampshire). And the family I lived with that year, they were fans of Xena: WarriorPrincess. It was a thing they watched as a family. So I joined them. And turned into a diehard Xenaite.

And then when I came home from the US, I went to study and live on my own. And lo and behold... at breakfast time, there was re-runs of Buffy the VampireSlayer. It didn't take long before I turned into a fan of said show to. Around this time, I found LJ, and it all went downhill from there.. *lol*

I meet my darling hubby, [livejournal.com profile] peting73, and we share a lot of interest. Especially when it comes to movies. And he dragged me with him to watch the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Then to the next one. And then I was hooked and I was the one doing the dragging for the third one. I am not to fond of the forth one though, I will admit. The first three movies I love and adore and I will admit to be a heavy fangirl fo those. :-)

Talking of friends, I do have a few RL friends here on LJ. And one of them, [livejournal.com profile] kaijn, made a post with a certain Tom Kaulitz of Tokio Hotel one day when I was reading on LJ peacefully. I had no idea who he was, thinking he was some sort of j-pop person (I mean, TOKIO Hotel, give me a break...). I was soon told otherwise, and started surfing around for music and info about the four boys, found TH TV, and... here we are today... I am the most active in this fandom, being a diehard fan of Georg and Gustav. I love them G's dearly.

And I thought that would be the end, but alas... No such thing.

My hubby, who I share many interests with, found out about the TV-show Sons of Anarchy... I didn't think this would be a show for me at all... but I watched a few episodes of season one... and BAM! I got hooked. Dammit. I am still just tipping my toes in this fandom, and I SO VERY MUCH blame my hubby for it...

Right so... Uhu... Don't really know what else to write, but yeah. That'll be me. If you got any questions or want to know anything or... whatever. :-) Feel free to ask whenever, however, whatever. X-D I am an open book, disgustingly honest, so if you ask me a question, I WILL answer it! :-D (Yes I love sex, no I ain't straight, yes I love both men and woman, yes I love my men a bit hairy and my women curvalicious, what yes, beard is sexy on men, yes I have two cats, yes they are crazy, yes I have 5 tattoos, yes I am disgustingly honest, why do you ask? X-D )

Visitors and good stuff!

There was once upon a time when I was a member of less then 200 communities... Well, that changed! *head-desk*

Anyhow! Have had a wonderful couple of days here. :-)

Mom was over and visited here on Thursday, which was awesome! We went downtown to shop some. She for a suit and me, I was looking for a couple of pyjamas for Alexandra. Which I found. And then mom proptly paid, claiming it is a thing grandmas are allowed to, so there! X-D And then she had to go pick up some more clothes for Alexandra, just for fun! Well, after that, we went home and I cooked dinner for us while she played with Alexandra, so it worked itself out. Was one AWESOME day!

And then today, well... Mom did warn me that SOMEONE was going to visit today. It proved to be my aunt with family. X-D We live on the way to the airport (one hour or so from here) so they stopped here to visit us on their way. Was WONDERFUL! They cooed over Alexandra and we cooked food for them and it just was damn nice, you know?

They are going to Turkey! My globetrotting cousin EllaBella lives in Quatar at the moment (but will move to Oman soon), and she has a short holiday so they'll all meet up in Turkey! :-D So that is where they are going to! I haven't meet EllaBella for two or three years now, and I miss her dreadfully... I hope she'll be able to get a longer holiday soon and come to Sweden to visit us all! I'll keep my fingers crossed for it anyway. :-)

And more awesome!

Today my RP-mate, who I lost contact with when I disappeared from the net when giving birth to Alexandra... She found me today! WOHOO! :-D I so missed her! Awesome talking to her again!

Seems as if things are slowly going back to normal even internet-wise... and that despite the fact I have less time to spend here. :-)

Awesome, awesome! *is in a really good mood!*

Awesome fanfic, and work....

I know... I KNOW!!!

I am not dead. Just.... Busy with this whole Christmas-thing and working. I am nervous as hell over Christmas this year for various reasons... More on that after Christmas. Promise! Although I do like working at the big city library, I do! :-D I got the task off answering inquires and comments on the library website the other day. That was FUN! Got to put up books on the maybe-we-might-order-these-if-enough-people-ask-for-them-list as well! Always fun that. *grin* People I work with are great to, and I can really feel that after all these years... Being a librarian is still my calling. :-) Awesomeness, awesomeness!

Taling off awesomeness... My RP-partner, [livejournal.com profile] omgcaffeine, who has been missing in action for a while is back on track.... Damn I missed her, but she and her son are fine, they were far away from the earthquake that shook NZ a while ago.... Thankfully no harm came to any off them. Is soooo good to talk to her again.

And apparently she thinks I am awesome... She wrote me a fic today. A really REALLY porny fic. With two of the characters we play around with, Bushido and Georg. Yep, that's the pairing. Can't get more odd then that. But damn, if they aren't hot together.... And we got a really interesting storyline going to that we explore and play around with. And now, tonight, she wrote a PWP story with them for me as a gift. And man. HOLY FUCKING SHIT! I melted on the floor, people... If you want something different to read? GO READ THIS! Hell, go read it anyway, because it is really well written! She doesn't have many LJ-friends, so I just gonna pimp the hell out of this. It deserves it! GO! READ! NOW!

Ain't nothin' but MINE.
Georg/Bushido, AU, NC17, SEXY AS HELL, PEOPLE!!!

Roleplaying and LARP... and Sketchavember drabble!

Been home all day. Well, almost. I had to run a few errands, but there you go. And I've been roleplaying! :-D Wohoo! My RP-partner who has been on a month long trip has finally returned so we have picked up one off our two roleplaying games here on LJ. Feels AWESOME to pick that up again. So much fun! Re-reading what we have written, it is quite amazing to see that you can't really tell that it has been such a long jump between posts... Not to mention we have two characters we both play, and you can't really tell any difference in how we write them. Well, we kinda know our characters pretty well now. :-) That game has been going on since July 2010... That is more then a year. Geez... o.O

Was supposed to meet up with my LARP-friends to, and discuss stuff our characters have been doing between the last LARP and the next one, but alas it didn't work out. To many people that were busy with other stuff... To bad. Would have been fun with a visit today. :-) Ah well. I'll see them soon again...

Anyway, here is another Sketchavember drabble. Quite a short one, but hey... It is a drabble. And my drabble-muse just stopped me, so... :-P Enjoy, enjoy. :-)

Meme, Day 5 - Your definition of love + Day 6 - Your day...

30 days of me meme... )

Day 05 – Your definition of love

My definition of love is quite simple. :-) And I mean true love. Being in love with someone I don't think needs explaining. ;-) Well... When we talk about love, I say the person you share your life with, and when you think about your future, you can't see the future without him/her. Because he/she is just... there. Supporting and loving. And you just can't imagine yourself without him/her in your life. That is how you know it is real love.

I hope that made sense. :-)

Day 06 – Your day

Since I didn't have any work today, my day started around 9am when I got out of bed. Kissing first hubby then my cats. Then I went to the bathroom to weigh myself (90.5 kilos, WOHOO!), shave (shut up) and take a shower. Then I made breakfast for myself (omellette) and while that finisihed off, I turned on the computer. Since my friend and RP-partner [livejournal.com profile] omgcaffeine was online, we started chatting and roleplaying. Ate my breakfast infront of the computer. ;-) Took a break to fix dinner and packed it in boxes, so [livejournal.com profile] peting73 can bring to work, and I can heat on up when I want it. Continued to RP with [livejournal.com profile] omgcaffeine while also watching two episodes of True Blood Season 3. Another break to talk to [livejournal.com profile] peting73 and wave him off. Back to RP with [livejournal.com profile] omgcaffeine. Lunch in the middle off it there somewhere.... In front of the computer. (Shut up.) When [livejournal.com profile] omgcaffeine went to bed at her end, I got off the computer and cleaned up in the apartment. Dusted all surfaces in the bedroom, hallway and kitchen. Also cleaned out the dishwasher (nasty!) so it would clean the dishes better. Discovers it is later then I think! (Crap!) Feeds cats, then myself. Late dinner! Relaxing infront of the computer. Watching another episode of True Blood Season 3. (So much crack! Werewolves OHOY!) After that I have been reading on LJ and since [livejournal.com profile] omgcaffeine came online, I've been doing some RP with her. :-)

Now I am off to bed! :-D

Geez, stressful life...

So LJ was under some serious DDOS attack, and now everyone and there mother is going to move, because of course LJ sucks because off it. Well, I won't move. I have been on LJ since 2003 and sure it has had it's ups and downs, but it is still home to me. So there. I doubt LJ wants to have these problems, you know...

For some more info read THIS News post.

Having a lot of fun with Frida Wagner, my new LARP character. I feel so much more inspired with the LARP now and I can't wait to develop this girl more once her Mistress shows up as well. I hope this inspiration holds up. :-) Talking off vampires and vampire servants, I should send an email to the ever awesome Da Croak, [livejournal.com profile] croaky. *makes mental note*

Work has been INSANE! So much going on right now in the Library world it is staggering. Geez... I am BEAT every day I come home. So much to do so much stress. I have hardly any energy to spear.

Which sadly spills over to my greatest hobby, RPG's. :-/ I have seriously slacked off when it comes to the multifandom game [livejournal.com profile] cityofdesai. It doesn't inspire me anymore. Which is sad, because both Will Turner and Danny the Dog has some really awesome character relations in that game, good friends, enemies and lovers. Maybe I just need a break from said game, I don't know... If they haven't kicked me already for inactivity. :-/

Right now I just want to poke around in the two one-on-one games I am involved in. There is no pressure there, and we write when we have time to and feel like it.

Behind like hell on my f-list to. :-P And it will be worse after this weekend since I won't be home all weekend. Mom's birthday and my brothers youngest sons birthday as well. So Friday, right after work we leave for moms for her birthday bash, then we spend the night there until Sunday, because of course the next birthday party is on Sunday. We'll probably help mom in her yard and clean out our car and hers while at it.... *sigh*

I am NOT looking forward to it. I LOVE my mom to bits as well as my brother and his family, but I wish I could just hide in a corner with my computer and read the kinkiest fanfics I could find all weekend. I need to escape from reality it feels like. :-P I'll survive though. :-)

Still sick... but theres hope!

Still sick. BAH! Oh well. At least now I sneeze less, and instead I sound like a gawd damn witch since the cold germs have crawled down my throat. The good thing with this is that it means I'll be alright soon. Every time I have a cold it starts out in my nose, ears and head... crawls down my throat... and then it blows over. I'll not be going to work tomorrow either, but at this rate I should be able to go on Wednesday. Good thing!

So instead if sneezing, I am now coughing... and this is progress... *lol*

Oh well. Have spent the day on the couch and in front of the computer. I guess that has helped somewhat.

Have returned to Twitter and Plurk to, since I have been absent from there for quite some time. :-P I kinda missed it, I'll admit. You can follow me if you want. I am not that interesting though... :-P I am called kseenaa at both places.

Found this site today, and since I have a fan of the country Sweden and the band The Ark on my friends list... I am looking at you, right now [livejournal.com profile] kiakaha... I thought I'd share it. It is a really neat site. Found it when I was looking for recipes for traditional swedish food in english to share. There is a lot of information about Sweden there. And A LOT of recipes for traditional sweidsh food if your interested in that. :-)
Sweden.Se (Recipies here...)

And then, amazingly, there was a new Tokio Hotel TV episode today. Shockingly.
Tokio Hotel in Tokyo! (click continue to website to get to the vid.)

One word: Awesome. :-D

Been roleplaying all evening. Also damn awesome! :-D So despite my now soar throat... it has been a pretty good day. :-)

Wanna ask the Captain something...?

Ah... Saturday. LARP day. RPG day. I love Saturdays!

Anyways, I'll just go pimp something here. :-)

In the huge RPG game I am involved with, we are at the moment breaking the 4th wall. Meaning, anyone can ask the good Captain Will Turner any question they like. And you don't have to be part of the game to do so... ;-)

So I figured I'd pimp my dear character and the game here for you! Here is Captain Turners IC LJ: [livejournal.com profile] dutchmancpt.

And if you wanna ask him anything, anything at all go HERE! Trust me, you'll get an answer, IC. ;-)

I also recommend checking out this game! It is HUGE and awesome. :-) Sorry, TH people, they don't allow RL people, but any character from any game, TV-show, movie or book are fair game. Unless they are taken, of course. :-)
