So LJ was under some serious DDOS attack, and now everyone and there mother is going to move, because of course LJ sucks because off it. Well, I won't move. I have been on LJ since 2003 and sure it has had it's ups and downs, but it is still home to me. So there. I doubt LJ wants to have these problems, you know...

Having a lot of fun with Frida Wagner, my new LARP character. I feel so much more inspired with the LARP now and I can't wait to develop this girl more once her Mistress shows up as well. I hope this inspiration holds up. :-) Talking off vampires and vampire servants, I should send an email to the ever awesome Da Croak, croaky. *makes mental note*

Work has been INSANE! So much going on right now in the Library world it is staggering. Geez... I am BEAT every day I come home. So much to do so much stress. I have hardly any energy to spear.

Which sadly spills over to my greatest hobby, RPG's. :-/ I have seriously slacked off when it comes to the multifandom game cityofdesai. It doesn't inspire me anymore. Which is sad, because both Will Turner and Danny the Dog has some really awesome character relations in that game, good friends, enemies and lovers. Maybe I just need a break from said game, I don't know... If they haven't kicked me already for inactivity. :-/

Right now I just want to poke around in the two one-on-one games I am involved in. There is no pressure there, and we write when we have time to and feel like it.

Behind like hell on my f-list to. :-P And it will be worse after this weekend since I won't be home all weekend. Mom's birthday and my brothers youngest sons birthday as well. So Friday, right after work we leave for moms for her birthday bash, then we spend the night there until Sunday, because of course the next birthday party is on Sunday. We'll probably help mom in her yard and clean out our car and hers while at it.... *sigh*

I am NOT looking forward to it. I LOVE my mom to bits as well as my brother and his family, but I wish I could just hide in a corner with my computer and read the kinkiest fanfics I could find all weekend. I need to escape from reality it feels like. :-P I'll survive though. :-)

I HIGHLY doubt it will ever bite the dust... To many investors etc involved. To much cash. Just look at how long it's been online... More then ten years. That is pretty long in internet-land. Personally I have planned for quite a long time to print all my posts... with the comments. Won't be cheap, but this is my journal. My diary. So I figured why not?

I HIGHLY doubt it will go down totally. There is to much money involved in this site. To much people and companies. It would take a lot. Besides, it has been up for more then 10 years, so.... Nah. Doubt it very, very much. I do plan to print my LJ though, as books. But thats more because it is not only my journal, but also my diary. :-)

I find it hilarious that people might think that. (And I use the word people to count in everyone on LJ.) LJ has been around for more then 10 years. There are to much money involved in the site to have it disappear just like that. (Like Greatest Journal did, I might add, who was quite a popular place to run to when anyone was pissed at LJ once... Well, that site don't exist any more, and LJ still stands.)

I've only seen one person say she's leaving right now, everyone else I've talked to is only backing up on DW and letting their friends know that's where they'll be if LJ were to go down permanently. Just seems wise to have a backup.

I'll just repeat myself. I find it hilarious that people think that LJ might go down just like that. I highly doubt it. Just think about all the money involved in this site... Especially now when there is games and adds and I don't even know what here. So yeah. Highly doubt it. I plan on printing my posts in books though, but that is more for sentimental value then anything else. This isn't 'just' a journal for me. It is my second home and my diary.
