Livejournal vs Dreamwidth? Dreamwidth vs Livejournal?

Well, talk about an LJ-kerfuffle this time. I don't even know what to make off it... I see friends, long time friends disappearing.

It hurts a bit, I won't lie. Although, I do understand why. The TOS from LJ is a bit... weird and creepy, for sure. And not exactly kind to any LGBT people what with the view Russia has of the same. :-/ So I get it. I do. The servers AND the company has been in Russia for YEARS, it's just with these TOS it's become more apparent, I suppose.

I'll stay though, but expand. I'll be active on both Dreamwidth AND Livejournal. To me being active on both places, that are so alike, is no different to me than being active on both Twitter and Plurk. Those two are basically the same to. *shrug*

Me biggest concern with all this was how users would handle each other...

I've been on LJ since 2003. The crazy that has been going on on Livejournal during those years could fill a damn book. Not to mention the way the users and employees has acted.

So I was worried those that decided to stay would be getting shit from those that left Livejournal. And vice versa, of course. Those that left would be getting shit from those that stayed.

To my relief though, I've not seen a HUGE amount of that. Of course, it's been hinted at, but only a little. So I was expecting worse there. Sometimes I'm glad to be wrong.

I hate February... And stuff... Fun stuff to, actually!

But apart from that, things goes quite well... It's just so damn cold and the winds really bite into you. Not my idea of fun, I can't say.

Yeah, I'm all outside nearly every day now. I make up reasons to get out and fix things, because I'm not a person who enjoys going out for a walk... I think that's boring and blah... So, errands everyday.

I've also sold a bunch of stuff on Tradera (swedish Ebay) for over 200 dollars. o.O It was my old medieval clothes that I sold, all in real wool and real linnen. And sewn by me. So I put it for auction, for less than the material was worth I think. And then I still pulled in that much! Totally impressed!

So currently my little walks is to send that stuff off. And since not everyone pays at the same time, it creates a walk for me everyday. :-)

When I'm at home, I sit mostly on the computer. I've ended up totally obsessed with YouTube. There's a few YouTuber that I follow, and man... I really love watching their stuff! There's some really fun people out there, and some are really talented to! :-D

I also spend a TON of time on Twitter, Plurk and Instagram.

Oh, and to keep warm me and my best friend have joined in all other fans of the company Kränku. For serious, they make the best tea you can get your hands on in Sweden! o.O And the company has now turned 40 years! So every month they have a monthly tea this whole year! :-D So I'm gonna drown in tea, but I don't even care. :-D

It's hard to understand that I've been on sick leave this long... My poor replacement is not having an easy time btw. He is a really sweet and kind guy. REALLY! He really really is. Problem though. You gotta have some balls and be a bit tough on that school, or the kids will run right over you. They're a bit like animals that way. They see one itty bitty weakness... They attack and will exploit that weakness like hell! Not physically, obviously, but mentally. So yeah... And since he to is an previously bullied kid, he has a bit of troubles with pushing back against that. I've gotten a bit further in process than he, so I can just give as good as I get when the kids go mean like that. Me and my boss has been there a few times to support him, but I mean... I jump at crutches. I can tell the kids off, which I'm good at, but that's pretty much all I can do. :-P

When I go back to work I won't work full time right away, so it'll be the both of us then for a while. I think that's good. Makes it a good transition, so to speak.

Anyway, some fun stuff! :-D

I've discovered that the graphics community, that makes these shiny icons for me and also all the blinkies I have at the bottom of each post... It was a dying community, but for some reason... It has a revival right now! :-D There's users coming back to LJ, at least in that community! TOTALLY COOL!

And I had a comment with

sireesanwar that it's easy to not dare to make new friends on LJ, but really... Branch out! There's so many awesome users still here, so why not? :-) I know I have a quite a few new friends that I really appreciate here on LJ. :-) Not to mention I know there are those reading my LJ that are not LJ-users as well. :-D Totally appreciate those to!

Then I have to say, I had a bit of squee over an old fandom the other day. I nearly woke up the kid when I saw it! X-D But the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie is fast approching. Oh no, you say... Not another shitty one... And I was thinking the same. Until I saw the trailer the other night. And dude. It looks like they are going back to the dark / wacky / adventure that made the first three so good. Also... Cursed Captain Will Turner is there! :-D I can't even tell you how excited I am about that! *giddy* So check it out!

Sons of Anarchy....

One week has gone by, and apparently both me and Alexandra survived. :-)

We've taken walks with the pram, and we've spent a whole day downtown... Alexandra seems to enjoy being in the pram, so she was very well behaved the whole time on both occasions. During our day downtown, I found a new nice "fika"-place were I got a piece of sponge-cake and tea while feeding her forumla. :-) So we had SUCH a great day then. :-)

When we've been home though, and Alexandra wants to use me as a bed or pacifier (happens A LOT), I've ended up watching the Sons of Anarchy DVD's that we have here... And I am now SO HOOKED on this show, you have NO idea... Gawd dammit... I did NOT need a new fandom. *head-desk*

But it is such a great show. The writing is AMAZING! And the actors really bring their best all the time. I am sooo so hooked. Me and

peting73 watched Season One some time ago, and then we just forgot about watching more of it... but still bought the season-boxes. So now I finished off Season Two and have started Season Three... and have Season Four to watch after that. What I'll do waiting for Season Five to be released to, I don't know... But considering I've found fanfic and communities here on LJ... I have a pretty good idea. Did I mention I did not need more fandoms? I did, didn't I? Well, dammit...

Plan for this weekend is for tomorrow... me,

peting73 and Alexandra to take a walk with his cousin downtown, since it is a market weekend this weekend, and the whole off downtown will be filled with market booths. So there's that. Will be interesting, since

peting73s cousin might have a hard time sometimes to understand this thing with prams and babies who need food at certain times... might stress her out a bit... But I guess she'll learn. :-) No other choice, is there?

And... AND!!! The other day the expansion for World of Warcraft was released... Mists of Pandaria! :-D I've made myself a pandaran monk and played around with. The game has gotten somewhat an upgrade graphic-wise as well, which is good. Needed, since the game is 7 years old by now... o.O Insane! Have I mentioned we've played it that whole time to...? *cough* Nerd, nerd... Only game I play and I love it dearly.... Both me and

peting73 have been playing while having Alexandra in a baby carrier. :-) It's really cosy, I gotta say!

Fussy baby and TV-shows everywhere!

Dude. You do geek out on TV-shows and movies when you have a baby who don't wanna move from moms lap... o.O And you have feeding times with regularity, like every third hour. I spend SOOOOO much time in front of the TV, it ain't even funny...

I watched it when I was a kid, the original series, with my family. Was like a ritual almost back then, everyone gathered around the TV. And now I watch it again, the new series. And it sucked me in just like when I was a kid and didn't even understand all of it. I am talking about Dallas. It is SUCH a soap still, but dammit... I can not help myself! It is so much fun to watch! And the fact that old characters from the original series turn up, makes it all the better! Especially J.R Ewing and Bobby Ewing... To see them again, so recognizable as their characters, are a PURE joy!

That series is just perfect to watch while feeding Alexandra during the evening. :-)

And then, during morning feeding time, they run RuPauls Dragrace... One more of those, I can NOT help myself, what the hell is wrong with me things I just have to watch! And they run it every day to, so I wonder what they'll do when they run out of episodes, since they are up to season 4 now! It is SUCH a silly thing to watch, really... but also so much fun! And perfect to wake up to. X-D

I also try to catch The Dog Whisperer with Ceasar Milan since they run both old and new episodes here on Swedish television. I am no dog-person since I've grown up with cats and always had cats around me, but damm if it ain't impressive to see him work with them dogs... and mostly with their owners! So, so interesting... and impressive!

Another TV-show I always try to catch is the swedish Lyxfällan... I learn SO MUCH from that show how to take care of my economy and what not to do and what to do if things turn tough... Brilliant show that one!

And when nothing fun is on (Simpsons and Family Guy also work in a pinch), I watch movies from our VAST collection... There are so many of our movies that I haven't watched, old and new, so I figured hell... why not? When I am stuck to the couch anyway with a fussy Alexandra that just refuses to lay on the floor kicking around and looking at the baby-gym or sleep or just sit in the baby-carrier... She has those days, trust me. And then she wants me. As a bed or a pacifier. :-)

So to say I watch A LOT of TV lately, would be an understatement. I do have my smartphone with me so sometimes I poke around on Twitter, Plurk, Tumblr or Instagram using aps on that one. Thank gawd for that or I would have gone slightly insane! Thing is, as soon as Alexandra ends up on my lap, she calms down. Not so much in

peting73s lap. He is only good enough now and then apparently. But I do use the time dad works as a bed and teddybear to have some time for myself. :-) So, if you wanna know what the heck I am doing? Your safest bet is to check those places. :-)

My personal opinion of them two bands: One Direction and Big Time Rush.

I am just gonna get this out and get it out here. I apparently have saddened a friend, and even though I am blunt and everyone knows it... it makes me a bit sad everytime it happens.

So rant. Here. Hang on to your hats. This might get ugly. But it is MY opinion. And I am entitled to have one to, right?

I feel flooded. And damn lonely. :-/ Why? Because this last month, two last months? Something like that... My flist, my tweet-list, my plurk-list, my tumbler-dash... it is OVER-RUN with One Direction and Big Time Rush. It's like a damn plague. Everywhere. Just... everywhere... these boys, that to me... is damn annoying.

Now, I am sure they are nice and friendly to everyone and supportive to great causes and all that.

But me? I REALLY dislike their music. I sure as hell don't see anything cute or pretty or sexy with any of them. I've checked them out, oh yes. I have no choice, now do I? Since I get flooded from left and right. I've even done Google-searches to try and find out what the hell it IS with these boys... Still. No. I've listened to their music. I've looked at photo-shoots and gifs. I've checked out music-vids and interviews.

Still. No. HELLS to the noes!

And apparently... I am alone in feeling like this. And it's like you are SUPPOSED to fall for them as soon as you see them.

Now... this plague and fan-movement reminds me of something else... Bare with me. I am kinda old... well, at least not young.

New Kids on the Block? Anyone remember them? Yes? No? This fanmovement going on right now reminds me A LOT of the fans of NKOTB back then. If you didn't like NKOTB back then, you were strange and usually got bullied for it. (School-years, bullying happened for much.)

And then there were all the bands that followed in NKOTB's wake. Anyone remember them today? Take That? Backstreet Boys? East 17? Five? Boyzone? Westlife? 'N Sync? Bros? Wet Wet Wet? No Mercy?

They all still make music. But they are far FAR from their old glory. Still, the insane flame that runs around, the plague around One Direction and Big Time Rush reminds me a lot of these bands. Even their music reminds me a lot of some of the above mentioned bands. And not in a good way. It's like someone took NKOTB, dusted them off, put on a new suit and presented them again. *shakes head*

Aaaaaand I'll probably lose friends over this... :-P And if you wanna filter your posts, be my guest. Do so. But I hope I can still read about YOU. Because if I friended YOU it is YOU I am interested in and wanna read about.

Enjoy your new fandom, people. Just don't force me into it.

Things that really REALLY annoy me!

You know... I really really like Twitter and Plurk and Tumblr. They are a lot of fun and an easy way to keep in contact with people and look at pretty pictures. And that is why I joined them. :-)

BUT! And here is the part I am annoyed with. There are a lot of those retweet/replurk/repost this that or this... or you are a bad person. Because there are people starving! Getting killed! Animals are abused! WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING!!!

Yeah. I know. I FUCKING KNOW, ALRIGHT! I see it on the news and on the headlines. News flash. It is what the world looks like today. Geezes... And stop guilt-tripping people to retweet/replurk/repost whatever it is you want to save right THIS MINUTE!!! It just pisses me off. I am sorry, but it does. *growl* Does that mean I don't give a fuck because I don't retweet/replurk/repost your tweet/plurk/post? NO! It doesn't. Try getting that into your head, general you.

And for GAWDS sake! If you don't like a service, stop complaining. And if the only thing you can say about a fandom is negative, then why are you in said fandom? No really? And now people will feel I am aiming at them, and I am not. I have seen this in ALL the fandoms I am in. RoS, Xena, Buffy, Pirates, Tokio Hotel. I mean, WHY? Seriously? *shakes head* It makes me wonder....

You know why I am involving myself in a fandom? Whatever fandom it is? To relax. To look at pretty pictures. To read fanfic. To get to know people who like the same things I like. You know why I am on Twitter/Plurk/Tumblr? To relax. To look at pretty pictures. To connect to even more people with the same interests as me.

I did NOT join them for negativity and to see the same thing I see on the news every single day.

*sigh*

Sorry for the rant, but I just had to get that off my chest. It has annoyed me for quite some time now....

Norway, LARP and gifts...

It is fucking terrible what is going on in Norway right now. Damn... *shakes head* No words. I'll just keep my dear neighbors in my thoughts and that is pretty much all I can do. Who the hell hates on Norway anyway? Nuts.

Getting ready to go to the LARP tonight. Always fun. :-) I think I'll be live tweeting / plurking while LARPing, so anyone that feels like it can follow me on my Twitter or Plurk to see what I am up to. ;-) Just for fun. I mean, my character Frida Wagner has a phone to, so it would be totally IC for me to fiddle with it during the LARP.

spicehobbit yesterday. I got a small Konad nailart pack!!! YAY! :-D I have considered buying something like it, but now I got a package so no need. I can make skulls on my nails! And swirly gothic patterns! Will have fun with this tomorrow, count on it!

Still sick... but theres hope!

Still sick. BAH! Oh well. At least now I sneeze less, and instead I sound like a gawd damn witch since the cold germs have crawled down my throat. The good thing with this is that it means I'll be alright soon. Every time I have a cold it starts out in my nose, ears and head... crawls down my throat... and then it blows over. I'll not be going to work tomorrow either, but at this rate I should be able to go on Wednesday. Good thing!

So instead if sneezing, I am now coughing... and this is progress... *lol*

Oh well. Have spent the day on the couch and in front of the computer. I guess that has helped somewhat.

Have returned to Twitter and Plurk to, since I have been absent from there for quite some time. :-P I kinda missed it, I'll admit. You can follow me if you want. I am not that interesting though... :-P I am called kseenaa at both places.

I should have done so much stuff today. But I didn't. Fail! So, it is going to be somewhat stressful tomorrow instead. Oh well. Not that I need to go to a job or oh... a trainee job or anything... No. I haven't heard anything today either. Blah. :-/

Also, I feel into one of them internetz traps the other day... So now I have a Twitter account. :-P Yep. You read that right. I am tweeting my way through the day. Makes perfect sense, right, since I am spending such insane amounts of hours in front of a computer anyway. :-P Don't worry. I won't start to cross post my tweets to LJ. :-) I do however cross post them to my Plurk account. Yes. I have one of each. Why? I don't know? Because I can? :-D

What. A. Day. o.O

Geez, where to begin...?

Lets start from the beginning, shall we?

This day started as most days. I decided to do my ironing, and did so while watching the movie Stepford Wifes. (Insane, but mildly entertaining. Didn't see that end coming, actually.) Worked nicely. :-)

After that, I surfed the net a bit. Decided to order another DVD with Tokio Hotel. The collection of Tokio Hotel TV episodes, just for the hell off it. :-P Especially when I saw on there website that they are going to air a new season off Tokio Hotel TV. I wonder if it is going to be over 50 episodes in this one to? I also saw THIS little vid at

demon_kyos userinfo. It just shows how absolutely insane these boys are. No really. Tom? You look absolutely insane when your drunk. Nice grab on that girls ass there, btw. Following links I found a bunch of vids with funny quotes said by them boys during there career so far. And man... Geez... The way they talk about sex. At age 15 or 16... *laughs* Must give some prude Americans grey hairs. Especially Tom. Damn, your turning into my favorite with your bad mouth. After that I went to the library I was told about yesterday. And OMG! Such a nice school! And what a lovely library! And the best thing was that I hit it off with the two librarians right away! I am not kidding. And I looked my every day self, black clothes, purple fingernails, black wristband... Well, you know... And the older off the two was WONDERFUL! I am not shitting you! I felt totally comfortable with her, we talked for more then an hour. And in the middle off our talk, she said that she felt really good about me and liked me a lot. I mean, how great ain't that??? She really wanted me as a trainee there, and said I was welcome to start a trainee job on Tuesday, bright and early at 8am! o.O FUCKING YAY! AT A BLOODY LIBRARY! I HAVEN'T WORKED AT A LIBRARY IN YEARS! DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW BLOODY HAPPY I AM OVER THIS!??!?!?!

So, tomorrow bureaucracy. All the bleeding paperwork that needs to be fixed to make sure I can work there as a trainee without it affecting my unemployment fund and my contact with the employment office (who told me to get a trainee job to start with...).

I am so thrilled over this, you have no idea! :-D

Since I was bike-riding there, I had to hurry home and fix dinner, since once

peting73 got home we didn't have much time, since we were going to the movies this evening. I made it home on time and all, and managed to fix the dinner on time to, so... We didn't need to stress it.

And we watched a movie we were both curious about. Inglorious Basterds. What. A. Crazy. Ass. Movie! o.O There is only one way to describe it. It is totally cracked. It is a Tarantino-movie. And it shows. Both me and

peting73 loves Tarantino, and we laughed our asses off (even when no one else in the theater was laughing...). If you can stand insane humor and lots of blood, then this is the movie for you. If your sensitive, avoid it. :-D Just saying. ;-)
