Day been very good. I got a shitload of stuff done at work today. I feel quite accomplished over this fact. :-) Yesterday I was supposed to do a ton of stuff to, but since both me and my boss / colleague had a shitty day, that didn't work out so well... (Seriously, teachers.... I know it is a school-library and yes, we are here to be a support to you and yes, the library is here for your benefit, but when both of us are stressed the hell out, do you think it is a good idea to ask for a ton of books to be delivered as soon as possible? No? Didn't think so either...) Today though, things worked out just the way it should.
Except for one part. The bus. :-P I go by bus to the library to work each day, since going by bike riding would be suicidal. To much ice. Well, yesterday the bus was 30 mins late.... 30 fucking mins!!! o.O
.....
So this morning, I figured hey... It can't happen two days in a row, right? WRONG! The bus was, again 30mins late! I... It... There are no words. At least not now. I did have plenty words to say this morning though when I called the bus company giving a piece of my mind. I was late to work TWICE! Two days in a row! Because the buses didn't go as promised! Geez... *shakes head*
ANYWAY! I got a blogging price... Or whatever to call it. :-) From Ugglefot! Apparently she think smy LJ/Blogg has just that little bit of extra. :-D THANK YOU DARLING!

So this is apparently what to do when getting this award. Filling in nr 1, 2 and 3 with something that means something to you, or something you find interesting. Then pass the award on to five others that is to do the same thing. :-D
Right on!
1. Art.
Ehr... It is what you do with a brush and paint right? Seriously though, even though I can't make art of any kind to save my life, I must admit I enjoy watching art made by others. My collection of art-sites in my bookmarks are, to put it mildly, quite long. There is just something special sitting watching what another person can do with pens, pencils, paints or computers. The awesomeness of the internet is that some artists even go all out and do art 'live' for an audience online. :-D (I am looking at you,
croaky!) It is really amazing to see how an artist work.
So even if I don't seem very artistic, I do really like to look at nice art. Only art I just don't get is modern art. I just... don't. But when we go back in history, I am so there. An hey, erotic art, oh yes! Not a new phenomenon, if you thought that. Oh no. It has probably existed as long as man has made art. And then there is fanart, of course. Can't leave that out. I enjoy that as much as I enjoy so called fine art. *nods*
2. Literature
I am a librarian, come on... *grin* Now even working my profession, so things will probably get even worse as time progresses. ;-) My bookshelf is, literary, overflowing with books. I read everything. Except the classics that "you are supposed to read..." I just run the hell away from you if you give me a book that is supposed to be the thing that "everyone reads" and is supposed to be "high literature". Fuck that. I read what I want, when I want and I ENJOY what I want, no matter if you think it is even worthy of being called literature (and that includes fanfic, thank you!). And you know what? I encourage kids in the library to do the same thing! So there! (Yes, even those that read Twilight... or read books that are closely related to Harlequin-novels). That's what pisses me off really badly sometimes. That you are looked down upon when you don't read the "right books". I guess it has to do with the fact I was looked down upon by my teachers in school for reading fantasy books and novels... something that happened again when I studied Literature Science. Want a librarian that encourages people to read whatever they enjoy? And will help you find it to? You come to me.
3. Internet
I am addicted. I am so not joking. I go a bit crazy if I can't access the Internet once a day. :-P It is a great way to keep in touch with real life friends, and get so many more friends all over the world. I am ever so grateful for that. There isn't much else to say about it. The Internet just... IS. :-)
I give the award to:
1. My beloved cousin Ella-Bella blogging from the Maldives here: Reason to be
2. Dear Ugglefot gets it right back, since she is made off awesome: Ugglefot
3.
ursulav because she is so damn amusing and an amazing artist!
4.
croaky since yes, she to is an amazing artist and a wonderful human being!
5.
das_mervin since she has made the most serious sporking / re-cap / thrashing to shreds of a book I have ever seen. Her Twilight sporkings alone... (To read them, go to her sporking comm here:
das_sporking)
And now that meme:

2. Talk about your piercings or tattoos, if you have any.
I have both piercings and tattoos and I do plan on making more! :-D So tattoos first, eh? In the order I made them. I have a wolf on my left shoulder, for my dual nature. I am very much a loner, but I also crave company at times. :-) On my right upper arm is a tribal bracelet of sorts in a viking style, for my strength and that I stand steady in the history of my country. Cutter from Elfquest on my right lower leg, since that graphic novel really effected me once and still does, he reminds me of never giving up and never be afraid of my imagination. On my other lower leg is a tattoo of two of Xenas swords and her chakram. For my love of the TV-show, of course, but also it is a show when I finally admitted that there is beauty everywhere, in both men and women. On my left shoulder blade is a tattoo of Uncle Scrooge McDuck when he was a young gold digger, tough as nails. A memory of my childhood and a good luck charm. :-)
I also have a ton of piercings. 5 in my left ear and three in my other. One in my tongue and one in my lip, to the left corner.
I have plans for at least two more tattoos (when I can afford them) and plenty more ear-piercings. We'll see where it ends. ;-)

Geez, this turned wordy. Sorry about that!
