An intro post of sorts... (Must have been ages since I did that last...)

I'd written up half an intropost of sorts... and then lost the draft. Well, dammit! *lol* Oh well. Let's see if I can do it again...

Me

I am born 19th of July 1977, making me 35 years old. I grew up on the countryside, but now lives in a city. And very happy about that! My hobbies include fangirling online, reading books, watching movies and TV-shows, gaming (WoW), LARP, roleplaying (online or pen-paper), hanging out with family and friends or just being plain lazy. :-D

Family

I am a new mom, since my daughter Alexandra ([livejournal.com profile] mini_viking for photos...) was born 9th of August. I've been with my fiancé/hubby since 2003, and we do love each other just as much today as we did then. Now it just has added to it what with being parents. :-) And no, we ain't married. It took me 6 years wait to get the first ring, so I guess paitence is a virtue. ;-)

Then there's mom. She is as insane as me, and with a mind WAY pervier then me... My goodness! If you at any point think I am bad, you should have a discussion with my mom one day. ;-) She grew up a city girl, but moved to the countryside with my dad. She is a nurse, and very good at it to loving her job! She really rocks at cheering up people with her special sense of humor, be they young or old. ;-)

Dad, who was also one HELL of a man, if you ask me. :-) He sadly died 2002 though. I miss him still, probably always always will. All the fun we've had, and all the stuff he taught us. He was a farmerboy, through and through. :-D Grew up on a farm and worked on it from the moment he could walk. But having a love for anything with an engine, he ended up a mechanic. He will probably always be the most handy/practical person I've ever meet. No one will beat him there. Didn't matter what broken thing you gave him. He fixed it. Well, the only thing he didn't get was computers. *lol*

And then theres' my little brother, four years younger then me. :-) He takes after dad, extremly handy/practical and can fix almost anything you give him. He has a wonderful wife and two kids, and I am oh so very VERY proud of him! When we were kids we were fighting almost all the time, then we moved away from home and grew apart some... But now we are closer then ever. :-D I do so very much love him and his family. :-) He wouldn't dream of living in a city. Cities stresses him out somewhat. *lol* He lives on the countryside and works as a farmhand on a bigger farm.

My extended family is HUGE! HUGE and insane and loving and just... crazy. X-D I got my sense of humor and my straightforwardness from somewhere after all... ;-)

Also, there's my two crazy cats Skuld and Verdandi who me and hubby got after we've lived together for a year... they are 7 or 8 years old by now, but still as crazy as they were when they were kittens... :-)

Friends

My best friend, my sister in all but blood is [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit. She's been my friend through thick and thin. We've had each others backs since we were 13 years old. And since both of us are 35 now, that makes us best friends for 22 years... o.O We've decided when we get past 60, we'll go to an amusement park with our walking sticks, be seniour nuisances and be a pain in the ass to the teens! X-D

I also have plenty, plenty friends in the local vampire-LARP club. I am oldest woman there, most of them younger then me, but eh... :-) I love them they are awesome all around. Sweet girls and boys more or less goth all of them. :-) I love meeting them every time it is time for a LARP! And I love hanging out with them randomly to!

And then there's my online-friends... SO MANY!!! I've lost a few since I started hangning out online and be active in various fandoms, but I've gained many. And many have stayed through the years to. :-) Most of them I've found here on LJ.

LiveJournal

I've been on Livejournal since December 2003. This place is MORE then "just" a blogging-site or journaling-site. It is hard to put into words, but it's safe to say this is my HOME on the net.

Fandoms

Now to the interesting stuff, right? ;-)

When me and my best friend got to know each other Robin of Sherwood ran on swedish television. We both got extremly hooked and wrote fanfic (terrible Mary Sues!) and drew fanart back then. We didn't know anything about fandoms and fanfics though, since this was before the internet pretty much, and we didn't know anything about fanzines. :-)

Then I went to live in the USA (yes, I lived there for a year, working as an aupair in the state of New Hampshire). And the family I lived with that year, they were fans of Xena: WarriorPrincess. It was a thing they watched as a family. So I joined them. And turned into a diehard Xenaite.

And then when I came home from the US, I went to study and live on my own. And lo and behold... at breakfast time, there was re-runs of Buffy the VampireSlayer. It didn't take long before I turned into a fan of said show to. Around this time, I found LJ, and it all went downhill from there.. *lol*

I meet my darling hubby, [livejournal.com profile] peting73, and we share a lot of interest. Especially when it comes to movies. And he dragged me with him to watch the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Then to the next one. And then I was hooked and I was the one doing the dragging for the third one. I am not to fond of the forth one though, I will admit. The first three movies I love and adore and I will admit to be a heavy fangirl fo those. :-)

Talking of friends, I do have a few RL friends here on LJ. And one of them, [livejournal.com profile] kaijn, made a post with a certain Tom Kaulitz of Tokio Hotel one day when I was reading on LJ peacefully. I had no idea who he was, thinking he was some sort of j-pop person (I mean, TOKIO Hotel, give me a break...). I was soon told otherwise, and started surfing around for music and info about the four boys, found TH TV, and... here we are today... I am the most active in this fandom, being a diehard fan of Georg and Gustav. I love them G's dearly.

And I thought that would be the end, but alas... No such thing.

My hubby, who I share many interests with, found out about the TV-show Sons of Anarchy... I didn't think this would be a show for me at all... but I watched a few episodes of season one... and BAM! I got hooked. Dammit. I am still just tipping my toes in this fandom, and I SO VERY MUCH blame my hubby for it...

Right so... Uhu... Don't really know what else to write, but yeah. That'll be me. If you got any questions or want to know anything or... whatever. :-) Feel free to ask whenever, however, whatever. X-D I am an open book, disgustingly honest, so if you ask me a question, I WILL answer it! :-D (Yes I love sex, no I ain't straight, yes I love both men and woman, yes I love my men a bit hairy and my women curvalicious, what yes, beard is sexy on men, yes I have two cats, yes they are crazy, yes I have 5 tattoos, yes I am disgustingly honest, why do you ask? X-D )

This entry is crossposted between LJ and DW. Comment where you are comfortable.

Sons of Anarchy....

One week has gone by, and apparently both me and Alexandra survived. :-)

We've taken walks with the pram, and we've spent a whole day downtown... Alexandra seems to enjoy being in the pram, so she was very well behaved the whole time on both occasions. During our day downtown, I found a new nice "fika"-place were I got a piece of sponge-cake and tea while feeding her forumla. :-) So we had SUCH a great day then. :-)

When we've been home though, and Alexandra wants to use me as a bed or pacifier (happens A LOT), I've ended up watching the Sons of Anarchy DVD's that we have here... And I am now SO HOOKED on this show, you have NO idea... Gawd dammit... I did NOT need a new fandom. *head-desk*

But it is such a great show. The writing is AMAZING! And the actors really bring their best all the time. I am sooo so hooked. Me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73 watched Season One some time ago, and then we just forgot about watching more of it... but still bought the season-boxes. So now I finished off Season Two and have started Season Three... and have Season Four to watch after that. What I'll do waiting for Season Five to be released to, I don't know... But considering I've found fanfic and communities here on LJ... I have a pretty good idea. Did I mention I did not need more fandoms? I did, didn't I? Well, dammit...

Plan for this weekend is for tomorrow... me, [livejournal.com profile] peting73 and Alexandra to take a walk with his cousin downtown, since it is a market weekend this weekend, and the whole off downtown will be filled with market booths. So there's that. Will be interesting, since [livejournal.com profile] peting73s cousin might have a hard time sometimes to understand this thing with prams and babies who need food at certain times... might stress her out a bit... But I guess she'll learn. :-) No other choice, is there?

And... AND!!! The other day the expansion for World of Warcraft was released... Mists of Pandaria! :-D I've made myself a pandaran monk and played around with. The game has gotten somewhat an upgrade graphic-wise as well, which is good. Needed, since the game is 7 years old by now... o.O Insane! Have I mentioned we've played it that whole time to...? *cough* Nerd, nerd... Only game I play and I love it dearly.... Both me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73 have been playing while having Alexandra in a baby carrier. :-) It's really cosy, I gotta say!

Also, the other day I found this in the community [livejournal.com profile] geekparents...

WoW addict in the making...

I mean, come on... How cute ain't that? :-D I love it!

Almost caught up on LJ to (again), so there's hope on that as well. I am mostly active on Twitter and Plurk, as I've said before, so you wanna keep track of my dealings, check out them places. :-)

A murder in my kitchen! X-D

You know... Kitchen-disasters are never fun... Especially not when you drop half a can of pasta-sauce all over the kitchen floor... X-D It looked like I had murdered someone there, geezes... It took an hour to clean up. I had pasta-sauce on the WALLS, dammit! X-D

And here I had a book I'd planned to write about, that I've just started to re-read, but I guess that'll have to wait. I finished off another great book today to, so... and then there's all the fanfics and comics I've read through the years, so I do believe there will be enough material to write about to fill 100 posts. :-)

Tomorrow is going to be interesting. Going to a trip to visit mom, which is not unusual per say... But this time, [livejournal.com profile] peting73s little family is going to come with. His mom, aunt... Aunts significant other and [livejournal.com profile] peting73s cousin. His cousin who has a slight mental handicap. Now, I love her I really do... But a two hour car-trip? And then at moms? Where we are on the countryside? Where there exist animals? And she is scared of ALL animals... No really... On the verge of panicking... So yes, it'll be one interesting trip tomorrow. Fun as well, I hope, but interesting. :-) I know [livejournal.com profile] peting73s cousin looks forward to it (it was her idea!) and mom does to! So I'll just go with flow the and see how it goes. :-) I promise to report on the whole thing afterwards. ;-)

Been on the yearly control of the car today to make sure it is still suitable for the roads. (Don't know the word.) It sure was, approved and everything! YAY! Considering how many times we've had it in the mechanic shop, I would have been pissed if anything had been wrong with the car. :-P Told us we might need new summer-tires, but we've already figured that so... We'll keep these old ones this summer and get new ones next summer. That'll work, we hope. :-)

Apart from kitchen-disasters and car-checkups it's been very calm today. I've mostly played World of Warcraft all day, when I haven't kept up with my f-list. :-) My dear darling paladin and my lovely death knight are doing some SERIOUS progress! :-D Maximum level is 85 nowadays... And that feels unreachable when you start a new character at level 1... But now BOTH my bloodelf boys are at level 70! :-D YAY! And now I am in the FUN areas! With all the FUN quests and stuff... So now it is fun, fun to play them again. :-D

I really, really should post my character sheets / character stories for those two bloodelf boys... and take bets on how many can see where I got my inspiration! X-D I am surprised none of those I've been roleplaying with have caught on yet! X-D I guess it is just a matter of time... *is highly amused*

Right... So bedtime it is! Got a long day ahead of me tomorrow! :-D I hope everyone will have a great Thursday!

This and that... Update on life and some pimping...

I really have gotten back to the habit off updating my LJ, haven't I? *grins* There are still quite a few of my LJ-friends that has a seriously tough time, but... they are working through it... making such progress, I am in awe... People. You rock. End of story.

It's been a good day today, although the weather have SERIOUSLY sucked. Rain, rain, rain and grey skies. :-P Not very fun. It doesn't really motivate you to do anything, does it? So instead we've geeked out here.

I've kept up with LJ and played World of Warcraft... while [livejournal.com profile] peting73 have played Star Wars and watched the WC in hockey... Sweden vs Russia... Russia won. [livejournal.com profile] peting73 ain't happy.

But there has been apple pie and icecream, so not all is lost! :-D

I think I'll go to bed now, which is crazy early for me... But tomorrow is going to be a LONG day! First I'll be working 10:45am to 4:15pm... and then home and get some food in me... and then onwards to the vampire-LARP and then LARP ALL night long! I think I'll need that sleep.... *lol* I've heard rumours it is going to be one HELL of a LARP as well, so... Yeah. It'll be damn interesting. :-D The GM's have apparently made... plans... *lol* That never ends well for us players or our charcters! X-D

I am doing good though. As is little Nerd Junior. :-) Been quite lively in there for a few days. Party in my belly! I wonder what prompts the little one to move around and poke around in there... But it is one ODD feeling, let me tell you! o.O But at least it shows that all is doing good in there. And yeah, I am showing a little more, but not much! Sneaky Nerd Junior is hiding in there! X-D At least now my LARP-friends knows, so... :-) They'll take it easy with me! *grins*

Before I go I'll leave you with these links and vids!

Now how cute ain't this?:
Cats & Dogs: A special relationship

Talking about LARP's, this little music-vid really REALLY shows the mood and look and feel of the Fallout LARP I am going to each summer. It is pretty much what it looks like in the LARP-area we have set up. This year though I can't go, since I'll be in delivery just a week or two after that... or so it is planned. Going to a LARP out in the woods with a huge baby-belly? Yeah, no... *lol* But the vid is awesome! So check it out!
German music and Fallout LARP in Germany! )

And lastly this. Ruroin Kenshin is going to be a move. A live action movie. X-D [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit and [livejournal.com profile] chigrima always tease me with this guy. I've never gotten into it. I think he looks damn silly in his pink clothes and long red hair. Like a girl! While they are all, he looks totally badass! My reaction looking at drawings of him from the manga? Just lol... X-D Badass where? Anyway, I figured they would get a laugh out of seeing they'll make a movie with real actors about him. :-) I do admit, it looks quite good. WAY more badass then the mange they've shown me. And he ain't got that girly red hair, thank gawd... but he still wears pink. What is up with that?
Rurouni Kenshin The Movie )

Right, so... bed it is! Hope everyone has a good weekend! I'll sure as hell make sure I have one good weekend filled with books and then vampires! :-D

A much better day...

Feeling better today. :-) Thanx for the comments. It gave me the push I needed, really.

Have written an apologizing AND explaining message... and I think we're good. I didn't lose a friend, thank gawd. Phew... *wipes forehead* I would have hated to lose a friend over something stupid. Sure, if there is a serious disagreement or such, then de-friending and all that is the road to go. But when there was just... misunderstandings and other stupid shit. Then yeah... I would hate to lose a friend over that.

If I have ever friended you, I do it because I like YOU. And have an interest in YOU. So yeah. :- ) Just pointing that out to those I've friended.

So I haven't done much today at all. I've been playing World of Warcraft mostly. Some day I seriously need to make a post about the story I wrote for my two characters... I am sure a lot of people will be able to pick up where I got my inspiration. ;-) Got to play a little with my workmate that I've told about which was AWESOME! Now I am even more excited about getting my two boys up to maximum level at 85!!! Got both of them to level 68 today, so progress! MUCH progress! *happy about this*

Right. Think I'll go write a 100-things-post... Since I am feeling much better today. Time for a fanfic now, right? *ponders on which fandom*

A random post in the late evening...

Flash mob scenes always put a smile on my face. :-) And today I found one from Copenhagen, Denmark. This was really beautiful and just put a smile to my face. :-D I would love to ride that train, seriously.

Copenhagen Phil doing a flash mob in the Copenhagen Metro )

Anyone would get a smile from that.

And I needed it. So, so worried about quite a few of my LJ-friends. I honestly don't know what to do, and it... makes me feel so helpless. :-P Like it is my fault and I could do so much more and I... don't even know what. :-P

Apparently [livejournal.com profile] hexenhasel has deleted her LJ and her Twitter tonight (my time). :-/ Anyone know why? I hope she isn't in any trouble or anything... and that she'll be fine?

Gladly I had fun at work today though. Yes, I worked today. Four hours, so not so much but still. I usually don't take a coffe (/tea) break when I work so little, but some of my workmates told me I could need it, so I walked off to do so.

And ran right into my WoW-playing workmate. X-D

It is quite hilarious. We had lunch together a while ago her and I. She is.. between 55-60 in age somewhere. And I dont' remember how but we ended up talking computers and computer-games... and the fact I played World of Warcraft...

Apparently, so does she! AND! She is more off a nerd then me! X-D Her favorite class being rouge...

So today, when she came into the staff coffee room... she just pointed a finger at me and exclaimed: "I don't backstabb workmates!" prompting both of us to fall into giggles! MY GOODNESS!!! X-D Then we proceeded to geek out over WoW for a bit (and complain about all the immature kids in the game), before we had to go back to work!

Epicness! *lol*

So some sadness (a lot of it actually), and some awesome this day. I am hoping for a better day tomorrow. :-) *keeps fingers crossed for all her LJ-friends*

A meme and such....

First, I want to thank everyone that commented on my previous post for keeping discussions civil. :-) Discussions are cool and everyone has a right to their own opinion. At the very least, one can always agree to disagree. ;-)

Haven't done much these days... No wait. That is a lie. Since I haven't gotten any hours this week, I have just taken it easy and pretended to be a housewife. It's been pretty good, actually. :-)

And now, this weekend me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73 has started to redo parts of our apartment. It has been sourly needed, and it will end up looking awesome. I am convinced of it. :-) At least it looks good so far, so to speak. ;-) Even [livejournal.com profile] peting73 is impressed at what we've done, so SCORE! *lol* IKEA furniture for the freaking WIN is all I am saying. ;-)

Randomly I wish my LARP-friends got their eyes out of their asses pockets... *coughs*

ANYWAY!

Have a meme. :-) I've seen this making it's rounds, and I thought these were pretty fun. So!

I'm running a test to see who's reading my posts. So, if you read this, leave me a one-word comment about your day that starts with the third letter of your LJ USERNAME. Only one word please. Then repost so I can leave a word for you. Don't just post a word and not copy - that's not as much fun.

COMMENT WITH YOUR FAVORITE FLAVOR OF ICE CREAM OR FROZEN TREAT

Just bring it. :-) I'll start and say I have two favorites: Ben & Jerries Halfbaked.. YUM, YUM!!! o.O And that's all I'll be saying on that one. And then there is the ice-cream i practically lived off when I lived in the USA: Cookies & Cream. I have yet to find this ice-cream flavour in Sweden... I hope I will one day.

Right. :-) Now I'll go back to playing World of Warcraft again. Yes, that bug has hit me again. Hard. *lol* My dear darling gay and shy bloodelf paladin and my kick ass bloodelf deathknight.... How I've missed you boys! I really should post the background-story I've written for them one day. I bet at least half of my f-list will see where I got my inspiration from... *lol*

Discussing comics vs books... and feeling crappy...

Feeling somewhat shitty today. :-/ Ugh. :-P I don't know what my body is on... But my belly hurts a bit and my legs... o.O Weird. And I am tired as fuck. I'll most likely go to bed ridiculously early (for me).

Work today went quite well, actually. Gladly I worked my first hours in the storage with the kids books there, but after that I had to sit in the information desk for four hours. Guh... Not fun when you don't feel to great. Good thing they have comfortable chairs there and it wasn't that many visitors to the library today. One of the guys working there and me talked World of Warcraft while being in the information desk, since there were no visitors that wanted help anyway for a while. Now I think I'll stalk him on WoW.... ;-) He is a family man and a little older then me, but really fun and nice. He thinks it is cool that I am such a nerd.

We also talked about comics and graphic novels and how to incorporate them in the library better. And how to deal with them. An ever on going struggle. Ever since the 1970's / 1980's when there was a HUGE debate about video violence and gaming violence (in Sweden), comics have been looked upon as something bad that should be avoided by the older generation librarians. I'd love to change that, somehow. There are some REALLY good comics being released with regularity today. OK, so not as much in Sweden as in the USA and Japan, but still! Quite a lot! Good quality comics and graphic novels should just as obviously be a part of a library as books and DVD's (as is the case today). It was an interesting talk I had with him, and he thought it was awesome that I wanted to work with teen and young adult books, since not many librarians like to work with that genre. Well, well. :-D

And since we were talking nerdiness, I mentioned the book I'd found that takes a scientific look at fanfiction and all it can mean to writers and readers of the same. It also gives tips and ideas how you can work with fanfiction in schools and in libraries. He was really interested in this! And had never heard about fanfiction, but thought it was really cool and could probably be something to work with in the future.

Guys. After that 15-30 min discussion I was in seventh heaven. Here is one of the librarians that many listen to in the big city library, and he thought my thoughts and ideas were cool and not at all silly. My gosh... o.O He might end up a lower boss to, so... Good thing, good thing... Not to mention he is just a really cool and fun guy. :-D

So despite feeling kinda shitty body-wise, my day ended up pretty nice.

I even went to the city indoor swimming pool / public pool (what is the word to use, anyway?) and swam quite a few laps. [livejournal.com profile] peting73 inspired me the other day, but after feeling the way I did today, maybe it wasn't the smartest thing I could have done. :-P I was soooo knocked out, my legs were shaking when I left the place to go home. No, not smart at all. Probably one of the reasons I need to go to bed crazy early tonight. Not gonna do that again tomorrow, let me tell you. :-P

I am behind as fuck on my f-list, and I want to apologize for that. I am working on getting caught up on you all... I'm just crazy busy these days. :-P Might slow down in the future. We'll see.

Tokio Hotel and all that... stuff... Also, gay happy bloodelfs...

Oh dear me... This has been... a day...

I woke up early, since I had to do laundry, and was looking forward to my day off... Both of us played World of Warcarft in the morning, laughing teasing discussing characters and nerdy stuff, like we always do when hanging out in our computer room. :-) Was awesome...

Then... my phone rings.

Yep. You guessed it right, it was the big city library who called and asked if I could work today to. I had to turn them down. I've been working seven days in a row last week, and I'll work tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday as well... If I'd said yes, that would have left me working 11 days in a row... Not good. Any visitors to the kids section in the library would have been meet with a pissed off goth librarian. DEFINITELY not good. :-P So I tried to politely turn them down, saying I'd worked seven days in a row, and I kinda needed one day off... :-P

After I hung up, I immediately felt guilty that I turned them down and afraid that I'd never got work again! o.O Yep, that is my constantly guilty conscience for you. Hell, I hate it myself. :-/ I'll talk to them tomorrow. I doubt they are mad with me. The guy I was talking to laughed and said he fully understood me, so... *shrug* We'll see.

So I played World of Warcraft and read on LJ today... and saw the news on the Twin-App. Which is cool, actually. I look forward to it to.

Then I saw a comment on it, and blew a fuse.

Which apparently made me a whiner and spread a wank and anger in the fandom. Ack. :-/

To clarify (again) I AM NOT MAD AT THE TWINS!!! Or the G's, for that matter. They are doing their thing, and don't give a fuck. All four of them. And I love them for that. One of the BIG reasons I do love them (and their music, of course!).

I also think it is TOTALLY COOL if you are a twinfan and you are OVER THE MOON over this thing. Hell, had it been a G's-App, I'd have been over the moon. :-)

I have no problem with the above mentioned things.

Yeah, I wish the G's would be more visible in media and such... Keyword here = WISH.

I don't know about other languages, but wish and want is two different things at least to me.

I WISH the G's would do more stuff, be seen more in media... But I KNOW the G's DON'T WANT TO... and I RESPECT that. So I don't WANT them to do it since it would make them miserable. And I kinda love them boys to much to want them to be miserable, so yeah... But a girl can dream, right? And that is why there is fanfic. :-)

Wish and Want. Two different things.

I adore [livejournal.com profile] peting73s comment when we discussed this... (He is no Tokio Hotel fan, AT ALL... But he loves music over all and is a fan of a lot of other different bands, electronic bands and metal bands. He only knows what he has heard me talk about when I have ranted in front of the computer...)

As I understand it aren't they long time friends those four? And don't them fans know that music without bass guitar and drums is really fucking boring? Not to mention, bandmembers in a band that are the least seen in the media are usually the ones that write most of the music...

His words, not mine. And for the record, I have NO idea who writes what and how much. I guess [livejournal.com profile] peting73 goes from what he has seen in other bands... *shrug*

ANYHOW!!! Enough of that.

As I was saying, I've been playing A LOT of World of Warcraft these days... Mostly roleplaying Thylarian, not so much doing dungeons and quests...

And last night... OH. MY. GAWD! Probably my BEST roleplaying experience in this game! And that is saying A LOT since I've been playing World of Warcraft since December 2005...

A Halloween ball was held by a guild on the server, who invited all the other roleplaying guilds. So it was a LOT of characters in the same area chatting, making friends and all that... A lot of bloodelfs... Mostly bloodelfs, actually. There were competitions held. Best costume, and best dancing couple etc...

Now, Thylarian is a pretty shy elf, so he kept standing to the sidelines... and he didn't have a date for the ball either, so... Until he saw a troll arriving and it was the friendly troll he'd developed a crush on during the last roleplaying event, Traiaki. With his date. A male bloodelf. Awww... So said troll was taken, apparently. Poor Thy. Still, they hung out and all... and then one of Traiakis friends, another troll arrived, Torokai.... who hung out with Thy... they talked. Got along well. Really really well.... Hugged. Kissed.... danced.... It was so damn cute and sweet, I almost got holes in my teeth... X-D When the ball was over, Torokai and Thylarian both wanted to see each other again, so I suspect a date is in the future. :-D

Now today, when logging in on World of Warcraft I saw that Torokai was online, so I sent him a message OOC and told him it had been a great RP-event last night and I hoped he was OK with our characters getting along so well and you know... If he wanted, OOC, to continue and do a story-line of it? Which he did. :-D We chatted back and forth a bit OOC and... He is a he OOC as well, a gay young man... who at first didn't believe that I was a woman, admittedly bi, but still.. since he thought I knew more about the gay community on the net then HE did... X-D That's what being a fan of slash fics does to ya'! *lol*

So yeah, I had a wonderful time in the game today. AND yesterday! My poor dear darling Thylarian... You got a troll boyfriend! X-D

Work, work... I am not that kind of orc!

Yeah, it worked out nicely to work in the library today. Even if I admittidly was a bit tired. It didn't help that a visitor and her daughter, who was autistic I think, was reading aloud behind me in the kids section... with a very monotone voice... and the daughter making a very very monotone noise... Geezes... I almost feel asleep falling off the chair. o.O I mean, they enjoyed themselves and that is just what you are supposed to do in a library, but it sure made it hard for me to stay awake and keep a smile on my face. :-P

Seriously though, the other librarians there are awesome. Especially two of the younger ones that I talked to the other day... They laughed and discussed how it was to work there and such, and they both came to the conclusion that there should be a reality show made at the big city library, because everyone (including themselves) are so weird. X-D You could say that discussion was quite awesome. ;-)

Played a bit of World of Warcraft today to... It is so much fun, it is insane! Thylarian, my darling boy... You and your brother Tyldak are SO getting a teeny tiny story written about you! :-D Just saying! Awesome bloodelf boys are awesome...

Thylarian is going on a Halloween ball tomorrow... It is bound to be hilarious... *looking forward to*

I am so so behind on my flist it is not even funny. Next week I don't seem to have quite as much work as I had this week, so I'll try and catch up then. Starting tomorrow.

Oh, and randomly.... I have a short crack-fic nearly done, and I kinda need a beta so my english ain't all over the place... :-P Any takers?

Running around libraries and playing WoW...

This week, people... THIS WEEK! *head-desk*

Come Sunday I've been working seven days out of seven... *shakes head* Sure, not full days but still. I feel a bit stressed about it all, you know? To put it in a bullet-list:

  • Monday: Got called at 8 and asked to work at a smaller library between 9:30am-1:00pm...

  • Tuesday: At the big city library downtown first 8:00am-12:00am and then between 4:00pm-8:00pm as well

  • Wednesday: 4pm-8pm at the big city library

  • Thursday: 12am-4pm at the big city library

  • Friday: Called and woke me up at 8:30am to ask me to work 1pm-4pm at the big city library, which I did.

  • Saturday: 11am-5pm at the big city library

  • Sunday: 11am-5pm at the big city library

Phew! Yep, they woke me up today, asking me to work today to. Today, Friday, was supposed to be my one and only day off. HA! HA, bloody HA! *head-desk* I mean, I am very very happy that they like me at the big city library downtown. That is fucking GREAT for my career (or whatever you wanna call it), but really? REALLY? I would like to have a breather to, KTHXPLX? So far I have no work on Monday... SO FAR!!! Any of the libraries might call and wake me up asking me to work, really... :-P I signed up for this, sure... But I didn't expect to get THIS many hours! Geezes...

Anyway, yesterday I was playing World of Warcraft and had a fucking ball! *lol* My gawd... X-D I didn't do any quests or any dungeons or anything like that, so I didn't get my darling Thylarian any higher in level... instead I was roleplaying with my guild, Hands of Titans. And their friend-guild, Legion of the sun!

Aaaaaand hilarity ensued. X-D Now, Thylarian is quite the shy guy among strangers... Not afraid, he is quite brave. But shy. And he has a HUGE thing for trolls... male trolls. He thinks they are sexy as hell, but don't dare to say it. And the first character from the Legion who was nice to him? A troll. A male friendly troll, Traiaki. X-D Mwahahahahaha!!! *rotflmfao* It couldn't have been more perfect, really. And it wasn't planned, I swear to gawd... I have never chatted with the guy playing Traiaki before. He was really cool about it, and had Traiaki flirt back with Thylarian. It was really cute. :-) And he was a protection warrior to! So yeah... I think Thylarian has found his first crush... *lol* X-D

I really should write a story or something about my two blood elf boys I play in World of Warcraft. They are really cute, and some might even recognize where I got my inspiration for them from. ;-)

Oh, oh! Exciting World of Warcaft news, btw! The first news about the new expansion for World of Warcraft have been revealed! :-D It is called Mists of Pandaria and you can play kick ass fighter pandas who are monks! X-D Kung Fu Panda, anyone? ;-D *lol*

The trailer looks really neat, I must say... No news yet what the new race for the Horde will be though... (Pandaren you can only play as Allience...) I'll be looking forward to this. :-)

Fanfic, World of Warcraft and THAT meme...

Geezes christ. This is just the second time I have been this emotionally effected by a fanfic. First time was years and YEARS ago when I was quite new to fandoms, new in the Xena-fandom... Before LJ and I just traveled forums and such.... What can it be? More then ten years ago? When I stumbled upon DJ Redhawks story Warlord Metal. You can still read it online, in it's original fanfic-form, but I highly HIGHLY suggest buying the book itself, I really do. It is in my own bookshelf.

To this day I say Warlord Metal is the fanfic that has touched me the most...

But now I have started to read a story that is nibbling in Warlord Metals heels, the story that has held the nr 1 trofé among the fanfics I have read for more then ten years...

King of Kingz by Raiju... I am reading it right now, and I have read 24 chapters out of 111... If it keeps it up like it has... It is going to push Warlord Metal off it's throne. Just saying.

So that's what I've been doing today. That and playing World of Warcraft, thinking of stories for my wonderful bloodelf... I haven't had this much fun playing World of Warcraft in years... (and I've been active in that game ever since December 2005). I am contemplating writing a short story of my current two main characters... *ponders* I'll have to think about that some more.

My throat still hurts like FUCK every time I swallow (not to mention how much it hurts when I cough...). It is NOT fun, let me tell you. I sound like I've been living of whiskey and cigars... I drink insane amounts of tea, which is wearding me out. Just a few days ago, I hated tea. Now it is the only thing that keeps my throat working. No, I haven't been to work today. Nor will I tomorrow. I am so sick of this shit... It's been going on since Friday. Mom called today and said it would probably be a good idea to check with a Doc. [livejournal.com profile] peting73 thinks so to. I suppose I will call them tomorrow. :-P

I also remembered I never finished this meme off, so I figured I should. And since it has been some time ago since I started it, I am now linking to each answer... You know, if you'd like to read them or anything. :-) Yes, I am that bored. :-P Shut up.

Gawd damn throat of mine...

I've been spending today with finding World of Warcraft porn fanart (good gawd, trolls and bloodelfs, just saying o.O)... reading up on the FQF-stories (twincest day, but hey... the stories were good)... making a BIG ass post with Xena-resources and pictures....drinking tea (what is this, I don't even... o.O) and relaxing...

While also losing my voice. :-/ My throat still hurts as soon as I swallow or try to eat something. Except when I drink tea. I don't even like tea! WTH?!?!?! And I have never had a voice like this... wheezing and low... I have to work to get any words out. Again: WTH?!?!?!??!

I have no trouble breathing, but seriously. This IS getting old, body. :-/ Would you stop it, plx? I was supposed to work at the big city library tomorrow and on Tuesday. It is not easy to get hours there, let me tell you so I have been STOKED that I have gotten a foot in there... But working now? I think not. So I had to call them today and tell them. Well, I hardly had to, since as soon as they heard my voice they were all like: OK then! You stay home! I just hope I haven't lost my chances there now. I mean, FUCK! *head-desk*

The big city library has no huge problems getting other people to cover for them... Like me. :-P But the small one I am to work for on Thursday has, so I really fucking hope this will be over by then! Because believe it or not, I am kinda needed on Thursday!!! You hear that body? No more off this shit by Thursday! Got that?

A least some good news. The unemployment fund have granted me more days, so our economy here have improved A WHOLE LOT! :-D YAY! But in the same letter they also asked for more paperwork. WTF? I send so much bureaucratically paperwork there, it is giving me a headache. :-P I have to call them tomorrow (yeah, I know... and talk to them... HA HA! X-/ ) and ask what paper they want now, since they can never quite be clear in their letters. *sigh*

Fun in World of Warcraft! Gay elf boys! X-D

Now that wasn't planned...

Seems that if you are a roleplayer you can't really change that, can you? Once a roleplayer always a roleplayer...

Well. I've restared with a new character in World of Warcraft. Decided I would play something I haven't really done before. A paladin. And I wanted a paladin that wasn't so disgustingly good and nice all the time. So I made a blood elf paladin. (For the record these guys, the Blood Knights, used to have the ingame equivalent to an angel in the basement that they tortured to get their holy powers from...) So yeah, a blood elf paladin it is. I didn't want a girl, since they look just slightly anorectic, so a boy it is.

Now bloodelf males have constantly been teased for looking gay. Even the game itself makes fun of this. (The orc leader Garrosh Hellscream calls them girls at one point or another...) So I figured, just for the hell of it, that my little paladin was going to be gay... :-D So I started playing him and having a lot of fun discovering that hey... paladins were FUN! :-D I've played every single class in the game by this point, and the two classes I just couldn't get was paladins and rouges... Rouges I still don't get, but paladins? My new love. Seriously. So much FUN! :-D

So here is my guy. At his favorite inn in the game.... The troll inn in the big city Orgrimmar.... Because, you know... Troll men are sexy... X-D It's their long... tusks, I'm sure....

Screenshot under here... )

And today when Thylarian, that my blood elf boy is called, was in his hometown Silvermoon City, I ran into some characters from the guild Hand of the Titans that were roleplaying together... Now, I've been reading up a little on different guilds on this server (Moonglade EU), and these guys seemed fun. So I roleplayed with them. :-) And Thylarian ended up being hit on by two other male characters, stopping a female character from killing herself AND getting invited to said guild! X-D Never dull when you are a paladin.

He is actually partly based on the way TH fans write them Kaulitz twins... Since he does have a brother to, another character I have on said server, Tyldak, the death knight. Tyldak is Thylarians twin. Who Thylarian thinks is dead after the big attack from The Scourge on Silvermoon City... Dramatic. :-)

You could say I am having fun with these two blood elf boys. ;-)

TBC.... *grin*

Randomly: I need more World of Warcraft icons.

Family, ah yes...

Been visiting my cousin Josse today. :-) She has just moved out from home, and had her birthday today to, so she wanted to show off her new apartment and celebrate a bit. It was wonderful to meet her. :-D I haven't done that in a while, and it is always a joy to meet my cousins.

And her apartment was FABULOUS!!! The house it is in looks really down in the dumps... My aunt and uncle bought it and decided to fix it up, making a bunch of smaller apartments in it for young people and students... The first one that is finished is the one for Josse. :-) There is a small kitchen/kitchenette with a bar-table in it, and an opened wall out to the livingroom and then there is a bedroom as well, both livingroom and bedroom is quite big. And there is a nice little bathroom as well, with a shower and even a washing-machine! Looks brilliant! All walls are black or white and has some places where the details of the stone under the paint shows through... The black is wallpaper. And she has a red refrigerator... IT IS RED people! HOW AWESOME AIN'T THAT! And the red colour pops up here and there in the apartment with some purple blended in giving so much life to the entire place! SO AWESOME! :-D

So that was great! Sadly my brother, who was also invited couldn't come along with his kids... Sad thing. They are always so busy him and his family... I admit to worry about him.

But my aunt and uncle was there, of course. And mom was there and one of my second cousins and her family who are always great to meet! One of her sons are a WoW-player to, and he loves to discuss World of Warcraft with me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73 since we are two adults that share his hobby, and he thinks that is pretty cool. :-)

Right. Now I am just going to post to [livejournal.com profile] gs_daily before I go to bed. :-) (Gotta find a sexy pic of Georg... shouldn't be to hard... X-D )

Two memes and visits and stuff...

So, Thursday mom and my aunt was here. :-) It was A LOT of fun! They are both old fans of the band Smokie, so when they heard that they were giving a free concert here in the city, plans were quickly made for both of them to get here and watch Smokie play. :-)

First they went shopping a bit in the city. Mom has lost so much weight now, she had to buy some new clothes so she'd have something that doesn't fall off of her. X-D Amazing. She looks fantastic! Of course, she still loses weight rapidly, but the woman needs clothes that doesn't fall off, right? ;-) And they had fun shopping together them sisters, so I'd say it was all good. Then they came here and [livejournal.com profile] peting73 had cooked a delicious dinner: chicken breast wrapped in bacon strips, fried and then boiled in a gravy made of cream and cream cheese seasoned with garlic and various herbs... then served with vegetables, both cooked and fresh. HOLY SHIT, it was delicious!

After that we took the bus downtown. Which was hilarious in itself. Neither my mom or aunt go by bus often. My mom very rarely and my aunt not at all. So they were very nervous about it. *lol* But it turned out fine, and we went downtown, took a drink with [livejournal.com profile] peting73s mom and then we went to see to get good standing places to see the concert.

Now, Smokie ain't my kind of music, but I must admit. Them old men knew how to entertain their audience. :-) They rocked! Old classic rock. It was really cool. But the best thing was to watch mom and my aunt singing along and acting like fangirls, just like I did when I watched Tokio Hotel live. *lol* It was awesome! (And if someone could tell me what the hell it is with me and drummers, because seriously... Smokies drummer might be old, but hell... He was awesome, and I would do him in a heart-beat! Even if I'd have to fight my aunt to get to him...)

Yesterday though, we didn't do much at all. Just vegged around the apartment playing World of Warcraft and being nerdy as hell. Well, I did go out and visited some libraries, but alas none of the regulars were there so I couldn't talk anyone into giving me any work. :-P Better luck next week!

Today has been spent much the same. Being nerdy together. :-) We are good at that [livejournal.com profile] peting73 and I.

I am having surprisingly fun on the new World of Warcraft server I play on, Moonglade EU. I am playing a bloodelf I named Thylarian, a paladin. He is fighting his addiction to magic, going out to travel to learn new things... discovers he is good at healing people and in doing so he uses his magic which helps him fight his addiction... He meets the tall voodoo using trolls... and crushes on them male trolls something fierce! And is now working for the Horde as a pocket healer (preferring to heal trolls...). X-D So if anyone plays on Moonglade EU, say HI to the bloodelf Thylarian!

And now for something totally different... Some memes!

s national book week. The rules are: grab the book closest to you. Go to page 56. Copy the 5th sentence. Don't mention the book.

I haz an office! :-D

Been a pretty good day at work today. Cleaned out all the shelfs, so the books are in good order, put up all the books and cleaned out one of the offices so I can have that one.... Yes. I haz an office! o.O This is shocking, people! It is small, cramped, but it is mine! I got full permission to clean out the stuff from the previous librarian and did just that. Only a binder left that I'll give her on Friday.

Still it is mind blowing. I haz an office! With a laptop, no less! It is quite shocking, if you ask me...

During a break when I said I was just hired for January and February, my colleague / boss just patted my shoulder and told me that I shouldn't worry, and that things probably would work out for me to stay longer... I hope so. Despite all the problematic kids there, it is a great library at a wonderful school with a kick ass staff.

We'll see how things goes, I suppose. I'll take it one day at a time.

Don't know if you've seen this site before, but I sat and laughed my ass off for quite long reading what crazy parents say aloud. Both me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73 had such a laugh at that site, since both of our mothers can say the craziest things at times. We know how it is, if I put it that way... X-D
Crazy Things Parents Say

And this music vid really amused me! X-D Yeah, yeah... To much World of Warcraft is bad for you, but I still couldn't help to laugh at this little music-vid. And trust me, I read more fanfic than I play WoW, which is sooo much better, right? Right! X-D

Time to post something about them goth boys to right? ;-) I don't know about other Tokio Hotel fans, but it does make me happy and feel a bit proud of them young boys when they get mentions by other people in the business... And this was quite a nice little spot they got on MTV Top Teen - Teenage Superstars. The people they interviewed in this spot had some nice things to say, I must say. :-)

An introduction post... of some sort...

I have gotten so many new followers lately it is... staggering. 133 people on LJ find my ramblings worth there while... Wait, what? o.O And I can hardly amuse myself at times. The INSANITY! But on the other hand, insanity is quite common around here. Right! On with the introduction!

So what the hell do I write...?

Ehr...

Yeah. I really suck at doing this, but I'll give it a go then. I am really to old to be a fangirl over young men or women, born 1977 making me 33 years old. (Aged and decrepit, I know...) I am not entirely straight, I'd more call me bisexual then anything else since I am eyeing up both men and women, although I have lived with my beloved [livejournal.com profile] peting73 since 2003. A wonderful man, and I can't see my life without him anymore. He is just... there. :-) And he loves me, despite my... strangeness and fangirlyness. The fact he can have straight-faced discussions about the gayness in slashfics, just makes him even more awesome. X-D If it is even possible.

I have a national masters degree in Library and Information Science (swedish) and I am working as a librarian. Not full time, only hours here and there at various libraries in town. It is not easy getting a job as a librarian, let me tell you. I have had jobs/positions as... well, most shitty jobs out there let me tell you, but I have finally, at my age, started to work with what I have dreamed off. HALLELUJA!

Talking off. I am an atheist, but I do like discussing religion to.

I might come off as a rude bitch, but really... I bark worse then I bite and I got a HUGE heart. Cross my friends or family though, and I'll go hell on your ass. And that goes in RL to. Ask any of my RL friends, [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit, [livejournal.com profile] astroflammante or any of the others.

Family and friends are really really important to me, as you can see. :-) I was badly bullied for most of my time at school, and the few friends I did have ([livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit in particular) kept me sane during those years.

When it comes to fandoms, my latest obsession is Tokio Hotel, something my RL friends poke a bit of fun at me for. Cradle-robbing and what not... *cough* Yeah, yeah... They are all younger then my little brother... :-P But I like them anyways. Especially them G's, Georg and Gustav. They really don't get the attention they deserve those boys.

I also adore the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, and especially the threesome Will Turner / Elisabeth Swan / Captain Jack Sparrow. Shut up. In my world they are a threesome, so there. But my absolute favorite character in said movies are Will Turner. Such DELICIOUS angst! And he is the character that develops the most during the movies, closely followed by Elisabeth. Much love on those two for that.

Another fandom I usually adore is the Buffyfandom. Although now, it is mostly heavy discussions on comics and... ugh... So I have withdrawn a bit from it, even though I still read a lot of fanfic and such.... My favorite characters from said TV-show is easily Xander Harris and Spike and Drusilla. No threesome here though! I doubt dear Xander would survive a meeting with Dru. ;-) Now with Spike on the other hand... X-D

Anyway!

Don't think we are done yet. Told you I am involved in to many fandoms.

I also LOVE and ADORE Xena the WarriorPrincess! YAY! NOTHING beats that TV-show for cheer awesomeness and tongue in cheek! Even though it doesn't take it self serious at all, there are still some really heavy episodes in that show. :-D It has a perfect balance between crack, humor and blood, guts, drama. I love it. My favorite characters in there is Xena (especially Evil!Xena) and Gabrielle. True love, folks... True love... (Edward and Bella can just shove it where the sun don't shine....)

Lastly, and this just shows my age, I ADORE the old TV-show Robin of Sherwood... And especially Will Scarlet... there you got angst that has gone bloody on your ass! I would not cross that man, if I could help it! It is a wonderful TV-show, still holding up even though it is almost 30 years old. (Its first episode aired 1984.)

When I am not fangirling and sitting here spending time in front of the computer or working I am LARPing. ;-) Specifically vampire-LARPing. It is awesomely fun, and I have made so many awesome friends there in our LARP club it is amazing. And pretending to be a bloodthirsty vampire every other week is strangely addictive.... *laugh*

I also play A LOT of World of Warcraft, and I play various characters on line in different RPG's. :-) (Wanna hook up for a game? THESE are the characters I have played and currently play.)

So yeah... Thats me. :-) Good lord. It turned longer then planned. You who have known me for longer... Did I miss anything? ;-)

This and that, wishlist and Sketchavember...

*gasp* I haven't posted in a few days. Shocking, I know...

I worked monday, which went fine. And I got some more hours, which is even better. I do so love to work at these libraries. The libraries and the librarians I have gotten to know now are so made of win. I love working with them all. :-)

Had a PartyLite homeparty this Saturday to. Just a small one. :-) My aunt had called me earlier saying she wanted some candles, and then [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit came with a list from her workmates. And of course, my mom came to. She ordred a ton of candles. *laugh* She loves scented candles, so she always buys a lot. I did buy some to. They have this scent called Vintage Leather that is... just pure sex in a candle, people. I love it. So I buy nearly only candles with this scent nowadays.

So Monday I worked in the library, the closest. It worked out fine, had a lot of fun. And no strange questions about sex-change... *cough* Got a freshly cooked mail when I came home, since [livejournal.com profile] peting73 is off work this week. Yeah, it is his birthday week this week, so... he figured he should have the entire week off to just laze about. I am not disagreeing. :-) He works so damn hard to keep our heads over the water. Namely mine. He deserves it.

So the rest of this week has been spent being gawd damn lazy. We have played a lot of World of Warcraft, of course, since I only had work Monday this week. I finally got to do the quest chain that leads to Battle of the Undercity on Skyfire as well. FINALLY! I wanted to get that quest done before the release of the next expansion, and it went like a charm. Seriously the best questseries in the entire game. So epic. And now I have done it both on Allience side on Caina and Horde side on Skyfire. I R a very pleased nerd. :-)

Talking off being a nerd. I had two one on one RPG games going earlier, both very epic with awesome storylines that me and my RP-partners figured out. Was hella interesting to explore my characters in those settings. And then... it happened again... that tends to happen to me all the time when I do one-on-one RPG games. My RP partner stops talking to me. *sigh* And that game had come to such an amazing point in the storyline to. I haven't heard from her since the 7th of September, so sad as it makes me, I am afraid I'll have to consider that game dead. *sigh* Gladly I am a mod in said RPG-community that we set up for ourselfs, so she can't delete anything of what we've written. I would have hated to see that. Now, at least, I can go back and read it now and then. I think I'll see if I can find another one-on-one game, so I have two to distract me with again...

And I have joined in on the insanity that is [livejournal.com profile] th_wishlist.... HOLY SHIT, I say! My send-stuff-to-list is INSANELY long! *head-desk* This is were it is not good to be a giving person, because I wanna send at least a christmas card to everyone that posts! This is going to crack my christmas-economy, I can tell... But I seriously can't help myself! Gladly [livejournal.com profile] peting73 has given his blessing, since he'll help pay the postage for this. (Not in the Tokio Hotel fandom, you can join [livejournal.com profile] holiday_wishes instead.)

I also fail spectaculary with Sketchavember. Damn it! I'll try to be better with posting photos or writing drabbles. Talking off, if anyone on my f-list (that includes all you new people) has any ideas what I should take a photo of... of a prompt for a drabble... Do let me know. I need inspiration!

So here are the latest Sketchavember photos, enjoy!

And if you made it through this long post... Good for you!

Oh, and welcome all new people on my f-list! :-D

Being checked up by family...

Yesterday [livejournal.com profile] peting73s mother came over to visit to check up on me. Was nice. And in the morning we even managed to clean up the apartment a little. I helped as much as I dared to, but after that slight clean up, I felt sorta drained. It felt good actually doing something, though. [livejournal.com profile] peting73s mom was glad to see I was up and about and that I looked much stronger. No wonder. Last time she saw me I was more or less knocked out in a hospital bed. :-P She stayed a few hours and we talked and had a general good time. :-)

In the afternoon/evening I continued to work through my f-list. Slowly, ever so slowly I am getting there. Of course a fic-fest had to be posted when I was knocked out, so I had a shit-load of fanfics to read through. A pleasurable problem though, since all was bloody brilliant. (Only, why why why go with the classical pairing in a fandom? Some variation please! There are so many other odd and wonderful pairings to pick. *sigh*) Had fun reading up on all that though. :-)

Today [livejournal.com profile] peting73 cousin came over to visit. She is wonderful, really cute and fun. She does have a small mental handicap and lives at a residence run by cooperative really close by, almost neighboring our apartment-building. I really do like her a lot, and she loves to come visit us, or that we visit her. As soon as something happens that is not... a regular occurrence in your day? She gets a wee bit excited and wants to start planning things and such, so the fact that I ended up in a hospital and had surgery got her all wired up and she wanted to help me, visit me, care for me and I don't know what... Luckily [livejournal.com profile] peting73, his mom and her parents managed to calm her down somewhat. Also, I called her from the hospital so she calmed down from that to. She really does mean well, and when she cares about someone, she really really does. Apparently she embraced me with open arms when I ended up with [livejournal.com profile] peting73. She being only a few years younger then [livejournal.com profile] peting73 and they more or less grew up together, they are very close so whatever happens to him is Important Stuff. I guess that makes me Important Stuff. :-D

Anyway, I promised her she could come visit when I got home and felt stronger, so today she did. It was wonderful, it really really was. We had to lock our cats in the bedroom first though, since she is really scared of animals, especially dogs and cats. They didn't mind, having food and there litterbox in there to. She brought me cookies since when your sick, you do need chocolate, after all. And then we talked and had general nice time and ended the visit with a short walk. It felt wonderful to take a walk and yes move around again. The upper part of my scar don't hurt the least bit, I don't feel that part at all. The lower part however is not in pain, but I do... feel it, you know? Hard to describe, but... *shrug* Anyway, after the walk, we stopped by [livejournal.com profile] peting73s cousins residence to drop her off before we went home. It was really lovely. :-)

This evening has, again, been spent in front of the computer. :-) No vampire-LARP tonight. I doubt I would be able to LARP the entire night away yet... Instead me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73 played a bit of World of Warcraft together. He has leveled a dwarf paladin on the server I play the tiny mighty Caina, so he can be my personal healer. It is so much more fun to play together with [livejournal.com profile] peting73 then trying to find groups alone to do regular dungeons with or heroic dungeons. And being a tank with a personal healer? You find groups very very easily. ;-) So that was a lot of fun actually!

I have also read up on my LJ-communities, so I am all caught up on those now. Gonna try to get caught up on my LJ-friends next, so if you get random comments on old entries by me? That would be the reason. ;-)

Got a text from my cousin V today to, and apparently my aunt and her family plan to come visit on Wednesday... Meaning I'll get to see Ella-Bella for the first time in a whole year, since she is home on vacation from her work at Sheraton on the Maldives*! I can't wait to give her a proper hug instead of the cyber-hugs I have been giving her this past year. Much awesome next week, in other words!

* Yes, TH-fans... That Sheraton... *cough*
