Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

You know what? I've been thinking back and forth about doing this post or not, but then... I just thought what the hell, and here we are.

I am disgustingly honest after all.

WHAT THE FLYING FUCK?!??!

OK, I am DONE with shutting up. I KNOW I haven't been in the Tokio Hotel fandom as long as other fans... I KNOW I am older then most. I know! That alone makes me feel that I am not "good enough" as a fan. :-/ And now? Well I feel even more worthless as a fan.

And why, you might ask?

Because instead of being like the majority of the fandom and have a thing for reading about the twins aka reading twincest... and having Bill and Tom Kaulitz as my favorites... I, on the other hand, have a thing for reading fanfic about Georg and Gustav (with each other or one of the twins)... Georg and Gustav are my favorites.

But them G's are apparently not good enough, are they? It is SO often I feel the need the defend myself when I say that Bill is the least of my favorite in the band. It is insane! Yeah, I like him to. Of course I do! I love the entire band! But I have favorites, don't I? Everyone does. But to not put Bill or Tom at the top of the list is apparently Not OK. :-/ And if you don't, you gotta defend yourself. BAH!

Is it a wonder that in the solo-interview that Gustav did, he didn't even think any fans scream for him... Gawd, I just want to give the young man a hug. Dude, you got fans to... even though I do wonder sometimes about what some of the fans says about you and Georg... :-/ I just want to jump to your defense then, but at the same time not start a drama...

And there is the problem of it all, isn't it? Why do I have to DEFEND MYSELF for liking the G's more then the Twins? And why do I have to feel UNCOMFORTABLE saying I like the G's more then the Twins? That is just fucked up. It is THE SAME BAND! There would be no Tokio Hotel without the G's.... OR the Twins... They are a team, those four. A team and friends. Why can't all fans just.... Let everyone like whatever in the fandom, eh?

Uhu? My favorite birthday? Hmm... I... don't know? I like all my birthdays really. Can't say I have a favorite as such. Every fifth year is a bit extra fun, since then my HUGE extended family come in full force. Meaning there is a party for about 50 people or so... (I really do have a HUGE extended family.) So, yeah. I'd have to say every fifth year is a bit extra fun. :-) Meaning next year, when I turn 35, things will get crazy and fun again with a huge party! :-D

i'm a g's girl all the way! for me, the twins are just too over the top. i love them, don't get me wrong, but gustav's quietude is more my style. and they're both just sexy in that 'boy next door' way (georg with fabulous hair!).

The fact that both G's just stand steady and let everything roll off their back no matter what the twins do... Hence they are awesome in my book. :-) Not to mention I find them damn sexy as well, both in their own way. :-)

Woohoo! Yes. Exactly. All of that. Bill is my least favourite too (most of the time - I kind of have phases, so my top 4 list pretty much changes constantly, and I always feel bad for having to put one on #4), and I adore the Gs because they're just more my type. <3333

As for the pairings... I could write a looong rant about that whole debate. Suffice to say that when you write the Gs, you get practically no comments while, if you wrote the same story with the twins as the main characters, you'd have 50 comments. I get preferring one pairing over another, but it's just sad that so little people seem to appreciate the Gs. Hmph.

I KNOW! Why do you think I comment EVERYTHING I READ!!! On THFiction.Com AND on LJ. Because those brave few writers who actually write what I enjoy...? I want to encourage and show how much I appreciate what they do. :-)

I don't care either if there are a lot of people that prefer the twins. It's cool. I mean, everyone got favourites after all. But don't talk down about those that ACTUALLY LIKE the G's. :-/ Or any other obscure pairing. Just saying.

I wish there was something one could do to encourage writers to write more G-centric stuff, I really do... :-/

And the writers definitely appreciate it! ;)

I wish there was something we could do to encourage people to branch out and write more G-fic. A couple of months ago, I desperately wanted to read some good Tomstav, and it was almost impossible to find on THF, which is just... sad.

Ah yes... My ever desperate hunt for good Tomstav. So very rare... I love slashing Tom up with both of them boys. There are a lot of Torg out there, but not much Tomstav. I have quite a bit among my favourites, so that might be a good place to check. At least from what I've found. You wanna know what is even harder to find? Good Tomshido... and good Georg/Tom/Gustav... Good luck finding anything good there. :-/ I have one or two of those in my favourites. :-P

Ohh, great! I'll have a look when I feel like reading Tomstav again :D

And I've never actually read Tomshido but I can imagine it's... interesting ;) I wouldn't be surprised if I'd write it someday, though. It's very intriguing :D I am planning to write a chapter of Gushido (LOL?) for a future Gustav-centric fic, though... *tease tease*

Oh gawd yes... I read WIP that was only one or two chapters long... that inspired my Tomshido prompt for this years FQF. Saldy no one wanted it. :-P I won't give up though! :-D I'll save it for next year. ;-) I've read a few others as well where Bushido have them both. At a time. *cough* Those are quite interesting to. There'll probably be a few of those among my favourites as well. AND a wonderful and absolutely hilarious Gushido! :-D

Well, actually, I was going to write for one of your prompts, but I just didn't have the time to finish a fic for the FQF XD But I did start it - well, write about two paragraphs - and everything I start DOES have a chance of getting finished, so... who knows? XD

Ohh, I think I ready that Gushido - is it... what was it called again? Way of the Warrior or something? I read that when I was on vacation and absolutely adored it! :D

Yeah, that fic will probably be Tomstav overall, but it's a bit of a... slutty Gustav fic, if you will? ;) The guy gets around... *g*

Haha. But they're two different fics actually. One Gustav-centric fic, in which Gustav has sex with just about everyone - while his heart only beats for a certain someone that will not be named yet... ;) And the other one is the jail-one, which will probably take a little longer to get completed. But whenever I feel like writing something darker, I'll work on that one, promise :D Hehe.

Rare pairings in a dark setting? You have ANY idea how hard it is to find such fics? Near to impossible that's how... So to hear that YOU are writing it? My gawd...

And I actually have ANOTHER fic in planning that's also gonna be sort of dark-ish. I haven't decided for the main pairing yet, though. I was gonna make it unrelated twincest but after recent discussions, I've sort of decided not to write the twins again if it's possible to use another pairing instead, so... yeah. Basically I'm torn between Biorg and TWC and only know that there will definitely be Billshido. But... who knows? I might change the pairings completely! XD

Well, sometimes the twins are the better "characters" for a story. I admit that to. So maybe get a feel for the story first before deciding what pairing there should be? :-)

Man, oh man... I am all excited now... If you ever need any help with writing or anything... Not beta-work obviously, but someone to discuss plot with or anything... You know where I am. :-) I love feeding other peoples muses... It's like roleplaying but not. *lol*

I just wish there was something one could do to encourage people to write more with the G's... I mean, I run two RPG's with a friend of mine, one line with Gustav and Bill.... (where Gustav is the bad boy trying to get on the right track...) and one line with Bushido and... Georg... :-) (Where Bushido teaches Georg some new... things...) So odd pairings? I am SO there... But it is hard to find. It really is. Bah. :-P

Try google-translating foreign language fics? I was lucky enough to find a few French sites that wrote strictly Tomshido and Billshido, and they're actually very good! Or fanfiktion.de has some good fics, too.(I THINK I spelled that right)

That is the only problem with this fandom, isn't it? It is so, so focused on the twins. :-/ *sigh* I don't dislike the twins. I like them to! Quite a great deal! Seems to be a common misunderstanding that... if you have the G's as favourites you can't like the twins. *shakes head*

Oh jeez, it was forever ago that I saw it. The Tomshido was an mpreg, too, and I didn't mind it. French translates word-for-word in Google's translator if you end up finding anything. (Italian translates, but you need good grammar skills) If I ever find it again, I'll send you a link.

There are much odder pairings! I've read a Georg/Andreas before >.> but to be totally honest, the Bill/Male Celebrity section always terrifies me. That's where I found Billbama.

But my guilty pleasure is twinshido. That has not a single full story, I think. Just crappy one shots. (Though the first smut of the fandom I ever read was "Bad Influence" by emseviltwin. That was gooooood. ) *hidden fic rec that will NEVER get old*

Oh, that is an interesting section to look around in.... Anyone of the band / Male celebrity... I've found some really odd pairings there that just make me grin. :-) So definitely not bad. Not at all. ;-) I usually surf around on all other pairings BUT Bill/Tom... It is the only way to avoid said pairing. ;-)

Mostly it's because a certain short and cranky fanboy happens to have a Bill/ certain male celebrity thing, so I've written a few of them. I'm kind of fond of that section. Lot of creativity tends to show up there.

Thing is, I don't mind twincest really. I read it to on occasion, and enjoy it to. But what bothers me so damn much is that it floods the fandom. It's like that is the end all of fanfic in this fandom. Which is not true. There are other pairings, and fans of other pairings as well.

Same thing really with how fans discuss the band. Probably the same kind off little asshats you are referring to. ;-) Twins this twins that. Oh, we haven't seen the twins in a while, where is THE BAND at... Like the G's doesn't count. That pisses me off.

Georg and Gustav is so so much love. No really, they are. And I will not give up speaking about them for as long as I am in this fandom, just saying. :-P

I've shut up about it for a long time, since you know... Teens = drama starts easily. But Tokio Hotel is my fifth fandom. My skin is a mile thick. I've dug my way through idiots in fandoms before.

I could be the twins's mum. I refuse to consider that I would have had babies earlier than twenty though, so I can comfort myself with thinking I couldn't have spawned the G's. Its a small comfort, but hey, I take what I can get.

I have read twincest, although, I have to be honest, I tend to skip over the sex. I'm all for characterization, plot and dialogue, but I have read some good twincentric stories and enjoyed them. I've even rp-ed some twincest, but I can't do that anymore. It feels wrong to me.

I can't even deal with the people who thing TH is/are just the twins. Yes, they might be the mostly public face of, but without the G's, there would be no band, period. And to be honest, I've never been involved in such a 'young' fandom, ie so many kids. I feel like fucking Yoda.

The G's are love, and as long as there are at least some others that feel that way, I'm okay. Also, never shut up, thick-skinned one - you're my idol. <3

And? Gustav thinking fans aren't yelling for HIM? Oh my God. They ARE. That's why that little clip from Russia, when he and Georg are headed to the car and that girl calls out "Gustav, you're sexy!" just makes me cheer, "Oh hell yeah!"

I'll read twincest as well, and do on occasion. Hell, if there is a good plot and it is well-written I'll read anything really. I am THAT easy. ;-) Well, not always. It NEEDS to be well-written, or I'll let the author know (constructive criticism is your friend). Never RPed twincest, I must say... But I do RP the G's regularly... (Gustav/Bill and Bushiod/Georg, even if both are on hiatus while my RP-partner is on a month-long vacation... *sulk*)

Yeah, it does seem like quite a few fans seem to miss the part where ALL FOUR are a part of the band and are JUST AS IMPORTANT!!! Even hubby who is far, FAR from a TH-fan (but listens anyway) just grumbled and said: "Well, without bas and drums the music would be DAMN BORING, yo!" And he got a damn good point, don't he?

Good gawd, yeah... I was so happy to see that to! I was all fistbumping "YES!" because, damn that boy is sexy as hell... *wants to trace fingers over that big tattoo SOOOO badly...*

I agree with everything you said, SO fucking much. I'm personally a twincest person (acctually, I'm a twincest non related person, just because it leave more potential for plots, but that's another road altogeether *cough*). No one should have to defend their preferences; no one should have to feel uncomfortable because they like one pairing over another. I admit that I tend to go to T/B fics before I go to G/G fics, but I'm not really a twincest exclusive person. Hell, I'll take ANY pairing involving two of those four guys. :B But I'm so sorry that you've been made to feel like that! I hope you're not talking about any particular incident, because if someone said something to you that made you feel bad, I swear to god... >:(

To be honest I've felt slightly uncomfortable being a fan from start, but that has more to do with the fact I am so much older then the boys themselves. :-P

But you are right though. One shouldn't feel uncomfortable just because you prefer a pairing above another. Thing is though... In this fandom, you kinda do. And it isn't something someone has said... it is just the overall feel of the fandom that just the twins count... because they are the only ones we see... So just because the G's are better at hiding or whatever, they count less? I don't know... It is just the feeling I get when surfing forums and communities. There is a reason I don't comment much any more. Unless it is fic. Damn, do I comment then! People who write my favourite pairings get to know how much I love them for doing that. *nods*

I am here to make you feel better ... yes that's right ... hold onto your hat :) I'm two years older then you and I love TH Slash Fanfics too. Georg, Gustav, Tom, Bill .... love it all!!! Does that make me the oldest???

That's the one thing that bothered me about Tokio Hotel as a band. They have awesome music, they are hilarious in interviews, they seem to have wonderful personalities, but Georg and Gustav seem to be an afterthought when the band is mentioned in the news, on TV, or even when they take pics with fans ... the fans stand between the twins most of the time. I know they've explained why the G's stay in the background, but it makes me want to hug them too :) I even get a little ticked off when Tom pokes fun at Gustav in interviews.

As for Fanfics ... I do love to read a good Gustav/Georg or a G with a twin. Heck I even like when it's all 4. I hope I don't have to defend myself either, because I like what I like and my mind is made up.

I think I like Georg and Gustav because they seem more approachable ... even though I'll never "approach" them in any way lol. But you know what i mean?

I have a huge headache, my skull feels like it's going to split in two, and I have taken copious amounts of ibuprofen .. if my post doesn't make any sense that's the reason. Gotta love it O_O

They've said themselves they are in it for the music and are happy to leave the rest to the twins... I respect that. I just get annoyed that so many fans can't respect that to. :-(

And I do get what you mean with approachable. They just seem like two laidback guys with a great sense of humour... and they are damn handsome to boot. :-)

If the 'old' ones backed away, TH would lose half their fan base ;) i don't care how old I am compared to them. Basically it's the music, too that draws me in. Secondly the fiction.

Apart from that, I also feel that it's terribly ignorant to assume there is an understood rang order to who's popular in the band and if you don't agree you're the one to have fingers pointed at. Just because your favourite is one of the twins it doesn't mean there are less interested in the G's. But that's apparently not so.

True, I suppose. Us oldies are a part of the fandom as well, any young people just have to accept that I guess. *grins*

I know. You got what I mean just nicely. It goes both ways. If you like the twins, it doesn't mean you dislike the G's. And vice versa.

But sometimes I think there are a few fans that work just like that. :-/ Feeling that the twins is all that counts. And it is those fans that annoy the hell out of me. And there is the news, TV or when there are meet and greets.... whenever Tokio Hotel is mentioned, the G's are just an afterthought. Like the twins is all that counts, all that is important in the band. I claim this to not be true. They are just as important all four of them. They are a team and good friends. There wouldn't be any Tokio Hotel if any of them left the band, no matter who.

The G's have always been my favorite, but I always favored writing the twins before. Now I've been writing more with the G's, and there's definitely a stigma that goes with it and that correlates to the amount of reviews you get as a G writer. I noticed that especially with the FQFs this year.

And there are some stories that I know if I'd written them as twins, they would have gotten a lot more reviews. And I don't really care about the reviews. I care about people not seeing the Gs as an important part of the band.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when people/media say, "Tokio Hotel is living in L.A." No. They're not. One half of Tokio Hotel is living in L.A. The other (~~better~~) half is still back in Germany.

I've just kind of lost a lot of interest in the twins lately because it seems like they're taking their craziness a little too far. So far that they're not even relateable anymore. But the Gs on the other hand, are just getting hotter and more talented and awesomer. (look at me using all of these non-words lol)

I care about people not seeing the Gs as an important part of the band. - I've seen that sooo much, especially on Tumblr...

Even a poorly-written twincest fic often gets more comments than a well-written G-centric fic, which is just sad. This. This I just don't get. Does that mean that twincest-fans don't give a fuck if a story is well-written or not? As long as they get their porn? *shakes head*

Dude, I give as much reviews as I can as soon as I see fics with the G's in it... or hell, any weird pairing... Since that is what I usually read. My reviews might not be long everytime, but always heart-felt. But there is only so much a person can read and review (one has a life as well). Not a writer, but hey... at least I am a reader...

And man, I agree so so much with what you are saying. Every word. You pretty much have the same pet peeves as I do. :-) Good to hear one is not alone. ;-)

I do like the twins as well, of course. And snicker at their crazy and the fans going all crazy over their crazy while breaking out the popcorn and whiskey...

I just... which that while having fun at the twins it wouldn't mean that the G's is forgotten... you know? I hope I am making at least a little sense. *lol*
