Yes. When I was at the Xena-con, Chariots of War, in London 2002 I did. :-) Got my photo taken with a few of my favorite actors from the show to. Unfortunately Lucy Lawless and Renee O'Connor wasn't there, but Miss Awesome Kickass Badgirl, Hudson Leick was there... as was Melinda Clarke. And my favorite of the bad guys/girls from that show Claire Stansfield was there as well. As was the actors of good guys Adrienne Wilkinson (who played Xenas daughter no less) and Timothy Omundsen. :-) So yeah, I meet all them four very nice (and very funny and quirky) people. Even was a part of the costume-contest there! Didn't get a price (seriously, my dress sucked and there were SOOOO many good costumes there!), but I did have a blast that weekend. Got my photo taken with Hudson Leick, Melinda Clarke and Claire Stansfield (I have a weak spot for bad guys) and was quite surprised to see how TALL Claire Stansfield was and how TINY Hudson Leick was. Awesome weekend and I'll never ever forget it. :-)

I nearly never do these Writers block thingies, but hey.... Since everyone has posted such BRILLIANT songs in there LJ's lately, I figured I would to.

And this song means so damn much to me, you have no idea. It is not that I am a huge fan of Christina Aguilera. I am not. She got a brilliant voice, but so does many other singers. And I like some of her other songs, for sure. I like music. Period. But this song? First time I heard it almost broke down crying. Because it really spoke to me, you know? It still does. Why? Because I was really badly bullied for 7 or 8 years in school. It started when I was just 8 years old. I can still remember that day. Thats 25 years ago.... And always for how I locked. How fat I was. How disgusting I was. That I shouldn't exist.... Thank gawd I meet spicehobbit when we were 13. But that still leaves scars, you know. Scars I at times fight with to this day.

So this song... Beautiful... It is filling me with such joy, happiness and hope every time I hear it, you have no idea. I love it. I adore it. And I can't get enough of it.
