So I went to the medieval feast, SCA-thing... It was nice. Niceir then I thought it would be. Lots av nice people in medieval clothes. Lots of really yummy medieval food. Some lectures about medieval clothing and a really nice workshop were I started to learn how to do calligraphy... It was really nice! I think I will buy a book and practice some more and see if I can learn how to do it correctly. I got pencils and ink from my dear friend Sunnifwa for Christmas, so I guess I have to learn how to do it, so I can use the stuff... At least I will make her happy. :-) It is intressting. We, Sunnifwa and I sort of grew up together, we have known each other since we were 13 years old. We are now both 26. We have know each other for half our lives. When we first got to know each other we were so much like each other. Now we are not. I wouldn't say that we have grown apart, but we have diffent intrests today. We are still the best of friends and say that we are sisters in all but blood. So true. chigrima was also there. But she was somewhat more busy, since she worked somewhat with the whole event. Anyhow, it was nice. I'll see if I can go on some more events this year. :-)
When I came home, the first thing I did was unpack my bags. It is amazing how much space a wollen dress and a wollen cloak needs... All that done, I took a long shower and watched an X-MEN-video I bought a couple of days ago and ate a big pizza. Back to civilization indeed... :-D
Then I have surfed the net basiclly. I got stuck onsilvestris website Silvestris.Net. Her artwork is truelly amazing... I also found a link to another artist on the net: Furiae. I am so stunned by her artwork. You have to check it out: Furiae.Com! And I also got inspired by another thing at silvestris site. She has a butiful made tarot-deck there, that she has designed (go check it out!), inspirde by the world Fionavar by Gay Gavriel Kay. I read the books about that world when i was younger, and now I got inspired to read them again. I have to get to the library tomorrow!
Anyways. It is now officially bed-time. I need some sleep.
