This is KSena

Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

I'd written up half an intropost of sorts... and then lost the draft. Well, dammit! *lol* Oh well. Let's see if I can do it again...

Me

I am born 19th of July 1977, making me 35 years old. I grew up on the countryside, but now lives in a city. And very happy about that! My hobbies include fangirling online, reading books, watching movies and TV-shows, gaming (WoW), LARP, roleplaying (online or pen-paper), hanging out with family and friends or just being plain lazy. :-D

Family

I am a new mom, since my daughter Alexandra ([livejournal.com profile] mini_viking for photos...) was born 9th of August. I've been with my fiancé/hubby since 2003, and we do love each other just as much today as we did then. Now it just has added to it what with being parents. :-) And no, we ain't married. It took me 6 years wait to get the first ring, so I guess paitence is a virtue. ;-)

Then there's mom. She is as insane as me, and with a mind WAY pervier then me... My goodness! If you at any point think I am bad, you should have a discussion with my mom one day. ;-) She grew up a city girl, but moved to the countryside with my dad. She is a nurse, and very good at it to loving her job! She really rocks at cheering up people with her special sense of humor, be they young or old. ;-)

Dad, who was also one HELL of a man, if you ask me. :-) He sadly died 2002 though. I miss him still, probably always always will. All the fun we've had, and all the stuff he taught us. He was a farmerboy, through and through. :-D Grew up on a farm and worked on it from the moment he could walk. But having a love for anything with an engine, he ended up a mechanic. He will probably always be the most handy/practical person I've ever meet. No one will beat him there. Didn't matter what broken thing you gave him. He fixed it. Well, the only thing he didn't get was computers. *lol*

And then theres' my little brother, four years younger then me. :-) He takes after dad, extremly handy/practical and can fix almost anything you give him. He has a wonderful wife and two kids, and I am oh so very VERY proud of him! When we were kids we were fighting almost all the time, then we moved away from home and grew apart some... But now we are closer then ever. :-D I do so very much love him and his family. :-) He wouldn't dream of living in a city. Cities stresses him out somewhat. *lol* He lives on the countryside and works as a farmhand on a bigger farm.

My extended family is HUGE! HUGE and insane and loving and just... crazy. X-D I got my sense of humor and my straightforwardness from somewhere after all... ;-)

Also, there's my two crazy cats Skuld and Verdandi who me and hubby got after we've lived together for a year... they are 7 or 8 years old by now, but still as crazy as they were when they were kittens... :-)

Friends

My best friend, my sister in all but blood is [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit. She's been my friend through thick and thin. We've had each others backs since we were 13 years old. And since both of us are 35 now, that makes us best friends for 22 years... o.O We've decided when we get past 60, we'll go to an amusement park with our walking sticks, be seniour nuisances and be a pain in the ass to the teens! X-D

I also have plenty, plenty friends in the local vampire-LARP club. I am oldest woman there, most of them younger then me, but eh... :-) I love them they are awesome all around. Sweet girls and boys more or less goth all of them. :-) I love meeting them every time it is time for a LARP! And I love hanging out with them randomly to!

And then there's my online-friends... SO MANY!!! I've lost a few since I started hangning out online and be active in various fandoms, but I've gained many. And many have stayed through the years to. :-) Most of them I've found here on LJ.

LiveJournal

I've been on Livejournal since December 2003. This place is MORE then "just" a blogging-site or journaling-site. It is hard to put into words, but it's safe to say this is my HOME on the net.

Fandoms

Now to the interesting stuff, right? ;-)

When me and my best friend got to know each other Robin of Sherwood ran on swedish television. We both got extremly hooked and wrote fanfic (terrible Mary Sues!) and drew fanart back then. We didn't know anything about fandoms and fanfics though, since this was before the internet pretty much, and we didn't know anything about fanzines. :-)

Then I went to live in the USA (yes, I lived there for a year, working as an aupair in the state of New Hampshire). And the family I lived with that year, they were fans of Xena: WarriorPrincess. It was a thing they watched as a family. So I joined them. And turned into a diehard Xenaite.

And then when I came home from the US, I went to study and live on my own. And lo and behold... at breakfast time, there was re-runs of Buffy the VampireSlayer. It didn't take long before I turned into a fan of said show to. Around this time, I found LJ, and it all went downhill from there.. *lol*

I meet my darling hubby, [livejournal.com profile] peting73, and we share a lot of interest. Especially when it comes to movies. And he dragged me with him to watch the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Then to the next one. And then I was hooked and I was the one doing the dragging for the third one. I am not to fond of the forth one though, I will admit. The first three movies I love and adore and I will admit to be a heavy fangirl fo those. :-)

Talking of friends, I do have a few RL friends here on LJ. And one of them, [livejournal.com profile] kaijn, made a post with a certain Tom Kaulitz of Tokio Hotel one day when I was reading on LJ peacefully. I had no idea who he was, thinking he was some sort of j-pop person (I mean, TOKIO Hotel, give me a break...). I was soon told otherwise, and started surfing around for music and info about the four boys, found TH TV, and... here we are today... I am the most active in this fandom, being a diehard fan of Georg and Gustav. I love them G's dearly.

And I thought that would be the end, but alas... No such thing.

My hubby, who I share many interests with, found out about the TV-show Sons of Anarchy... I didn't think this would be a show for me at all... but I watched a few episodes of season one... and BAM! I got hooked. Dammit. I am still just tipping my toes in this fandom, and I SO VERY MUCH blame my hubby for it...

Right so... Uhu... Don't really know what else to write, but yeah. That'll be me. If you got any questions or want to know anything or... whatever. :-) Feel free to ask whenever, however, whatever. X-D I am an open book, disgustingly honest, so if you ask me a question, I WILL answer it! :-D (Yes I love sex, no I ain't straight, yes I love both men and woman, yes I love my men a bit hairy and my women curvalicious, what yes, beard is sexy on men, yes I have two cats, yes they are crazy, yes I have 5 tattoos, yes I am disgustingly honest, why do you ask? X-D )

This entry is crossposted between LJ and DW. Comment where you are comfortable.
One week has gone by, and apparently both me and Alexandra survived. :-)

We've taken walks with the pram, and we've spent a whole day downtown... Alexandra seems to enjoy being in the pram, so she was very well behaved the whole time on both occasions. During our day downtown, I found a new nice "fika"-place were I got a piece of sponge-cake and tea while feeding her forumla. :-) So we had SUCH a great day then. :-)

When we've been home though, and Alexandra wants to use me as a bed or pacifier (happens A LOT), I've ended up watching the Sons of Anarchy DVD's that we have here... And I am now SO HOOKED on this show, you have NO idea... Gawd dammit... I did NOT need a new fandom. *head-desk*

But it is such a great show. The writing is AMAZING! And the actors really bring their best all the time. I am sooo so hooked. Me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73 watched Season One some time ago, and then we just forgot about watching more of it... but still bought the season-boxes. So now I finished off Season Two and have started Season Three... and have Season Four to watch after that. What I'll do waiting for Season Five to be released to, I don't know... But considering I've found fanfic and communities here on LJ... I have a pretty good idea. Did I mention I did not need more fandoms? I did, didn't I? Well, dammit...

Plan for this weekend is for tomorrow... me, [livejournal.com profile] peting73 and Alexandra to take a walk with his cousin downtown, since it is a market weekend this weekend, and the whole off downtown will be filled with market booths. So there's that. Will be interesting, since [livejournal.com profile] peting73s cousin might have a hard time sometimes to understand this thing with prams and babies who need food at certain times... might stress her out a bit... But I guess she'll learn. :-) No other choice, is there?

And... AND!!! The other day the expansion for World of Warcraft was released... Mists of Pandaria! :-D I've made myself a pandaran monk and played around with. The game has gotten somewhat an upgrade graphic-wise as well, which is good. Needed, since the game is 7 years old by now... o.O Insane! Have I mentioned we've played it that whole time to...? *cough* Nerd, nerd... Only game I play and I love it dearly.... Both me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73 have been playing while having Alexandra in a baby carrier. :-) It's really cosy, I gotta say!

Also, the other day I found this in the community [livejournal.com profile] geekparents...

WoW addict in the making...

I mean, come on... How cute ain't that? :-D I love it!

Almost caught up on LJ to (again), so there's hope on that as well. I am mostly active on Twitter and Plurk, as I've said before, so you wanna keep track of my dealings, check out them places. :-)
You know... Kitchen-disasters are never fun... Especially not when you drop half a can of pasta-sauce all over the kitchen floor... X-D It looked like I had murdered someone there, geezes... It took an hour to clean up. I had pasta-sauce on the WALLS, dammit! X-D

And here I had a book I'd planned to write about, that I've just started to re-read, but I guess that'll have to wait. I finished off another great book today to, so... and then there's all the fanfics and comics I've read through the years, so I do believe there will be enough material to write about to fill 100 posts. :-)

Tomorrow is going to be interesting. Going to a trip to visit mom, which is not unusual per say... But this time, [livejournal.com profile] peting73s little family is going to come with. His mom, aunt... Aunts significant other and [livejournal.com profile] peting73s cousin. His cousin who has a slight mental handicap. Now, I love her I really do... But a two hour car-trip? And then at moms? Where we are on the countryside? Where there exist animals? And she is scared of ALL animals... No really... On the verge of panicking... So yes, it'll be one interesting trip tomorrow. Fun as well, I hope, but interesting. :-) I know [livejournal.com profile] peting73s cousin looks forward to it (it was her idea!) and mom does to! So I'll just go with flow the and see how it goes. :-) I promise to report on the whole thing afterwards. ;-)

Been on the yearly control of the car today to make sure it is still suitable for the roads. (Don't know the word.) It sure was, approved and everything! YAY! Considering how many times we've had it in the mechanic shop, I would have been pissed if anything had been wrong with the car. :-P Told us we might need new summer-tires, but we've already figured that so... We'll keep these old ones this summer and get new ones next summer. That'll work, we hope. :-)

Apart from kitchen-disasters and car-checkups it's been very calm today. I've mostly played World of Warcraft all day, when I haven't kept up with my f-list. :-) My dear darling paladin and my lovely death knight are doing some SERIOUS progress! :-D Maximum level is 85 nowadays... And that feels unreachable when you start a new character at level 1... But now BOTH my bloodelf boys are at level 70! :-D YAY! And now I am in the FUN areas! With all the FUN quests and stuff... So now it is fun, fun to play them again. :-D

I really, really should post my character sheets / character stories for those two bloodelf boys... and take bets on how many can see where I got my inspiration! X-D I am surprised none of those I've been roleplaying with have caught on yet! X-D I guess it is just a matter of time... *is highly amused*

Right... So bedtime it is! Got a long day ahead of me tomorrow! :-D I hope everyone will have a great Thursday!
I really have gotten back to the habit off updating my LJ, haven't I? *grins* There are still quite a few of my LJ-friends that has a seriously tough time, but... they are working through it... making such progress, I am in awe... People. You rock. End of story.

It's been a good day today, although the weather have SERIOUSLY sucked. Rain, rain, rain and grey skies. :-P Not very fun. It doesn't really motivate you to do anything, does it? So instead we've geeked out here.

I've kept up with LJ and played World of Warcraft... while [livejournal.com profile] peting73 have played Star Wars and watched the WC in hockey... Sweden vs Russia... Russia won. [livejournal.com profile] peting73 ain't happy.

But there has been apple pie and icecream, so not all is lost! :-D

I think I'll go to bed now, which is crazy early for me... But tomorrow is going to be a LONG day! First I'll be working 10:45am to 4:15pm... and then home and get some food in me... and then onwards to the vampire-LARP and then LARP ALL night long! I think I'll need that sleep.... *lol* I've heard rumours it is going to be one HELL of a LARP as well, so... Yeah. It'll be damn interesting. :-D The GM's have apparently made... plans... *lol* That never ends well for us players or our charcters! X-D

I am doing good though. As is little Nerd Junior. :-) Been quite lively in there for a few days. Party in my belly! I wonder what prompts the little one to move around and poke around in there... But it is one ODD feeling, let me tell you! o.O But at least it shows that all is doing good in there. And yeah, I am showing a little more, but not much! Sneaky Nerd Junior is hiding in there! X-D At least now my LARP-friends knows, so... :-) They'll take it easy with me! *grins*

Before I go I'll leave you with these links and vids!

Now how cute ain't this?:
Cats & Dogs: A special relationship

Talking about LARP's, this little music-vid really REALLY shows the mood and look and feel of the Fallout LARP I am going to each summer. It is pretty much what it looks like in the LARP-area we have set up. This year though I can't go, since I'll be in delivery just a week or two after that... or so it is planned. Going to a LARP out in the woods with a huge baby-belly? Yeah, no... *lol* But the vid is awesome! So check it out!
German music and Fallout LARP in Germany! )

And lastly this. Ruroin Kenshin is going to be a move. A live action movie. X-D [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit and [livejournal.com profile] chigrima always tease me with this guy. I've never gotten into it. I think he looks damn silly in his pink clothes and long red hair. Like a girl! While they are all, he looks totally badass! My reaction looking at drawings of him from the manga? Just lol... X-D Badass where? Anyway, I figured they would get a laugh out of seeing they'll make a movie with real actors about him. :-) I do admit, it looks quite good. WAY more badass then the mange they've shown me. And he ain't got that girly red hair, thank gawd... but he still wears pink. What is up with that?
Rurouni Kenshin The Movie )

Right, so... bed it is! Hope everyone has a good weekend! I'll sure as hell make sure I have one good weekend filled with books and then vampires! :-D
Feeling better today. :-) Thanx for the comments. It gave me the push I needed, really.

Have written an apologizing AND explaining message... and I think we're good. I didn't lose a friend, thank gawd. Phew... *wipes forehead* I would have hated to lose a friend over something stupid. Sure, if there is a serious disagreement or such, then de-friending and all that is the road to go. But when there was just... misunderstandings and other stupid shit. Then yeah... I would hate to lose a friend over that.

If I have ever friended you, I do it because I like YOU. And have an interest in YOU. So yeah. :- ) Just pointing that out to those I've friended.

So I haven't done much today at all. I've been playing World of Warcraft mostly. Some day I seriously need to make a post about the story I wrote for my two characters... I am sure a lot of people will be able to pick up where I got my inspiration. ;-) Got to play a little with my workmate that I've told about which was AWESOME! Now I am even more excited about getting my two boys up to maximum level at 85!!! Got both of them to level 68 today, so progress! MUCH progress! *happy about this*

Right. Think I'll go write a 100-things-post... Since I am feeling much better today. Time for a fanfic now, right? *ponders on which fandom*
