This is KSena

Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

I know... I KNOW!!!

I am not dead. Just.... Busy with this whole Christmas-thing and working. I am nervous as hell over Christmas this year for various reasons... More on that after Christmas. Promise! Although I do like working at the big city library, I do! :-D I got the task off answering inquires and comments on the library website the other day. That was FUN! Got to put up books on the maybe-we-might-order-these-if-enough-people-ask-for-them-list as well! Always fun that. *grin* People I work with are great to, and I can really feel that after all these years... Being a librarian is still my calling. :-) Awesomeness, awesomeness!

Taling off awesomeness... My RP-partner, [livejournal.com profile] omgcaffeine, who has been missing in action for a while is back on track.... Damn I missed her, but she and her son are fine, they were far away from the earthquake that shook NZ a while ago.... Thankfully no harm came to any off them. Is soooo good to talk to her again.

And apparently she thinks I am awesome... She wrote me a fic today. A really REALLY porny fic. With two of the characters we play around with, Bushido and Georg. Yep, that's the pairing. Can't get more odd then that. But damn, if they aren't hot together.... And we got a really interesting storyline going to that we explore and play around with. And now, tonight, she wrote a PWP story with them for me as a gift. And man. HOLY FUCKING SHIT! I melted on the floor, people... If you want something different to read? GO READ THIS! Hell, go read it anyway, because it is really well written! She doesn't have many LJ-friends, so I just gonna pimp the hell out of this. It deserves it! GO! READ! NOW!

Ain't nothin' but MINE.
Georg/Bushido, AU, NC17, SEXY AS HELL, PEOPLE!!!
I must be more addicted to tea then I thought... I've drunk a ridiculous amount of tea today... o.O

Anyway, [livejournal.com profile] domina_malfoy asked a very interesting question in her LJ.

How did one end up reading and writing fanfic? And how long ago was it?

I thought this was very interesting. Here is my fanfic history:

I blame Robin of Sherwood... and Xena. ALL the way. X-D

Me and [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit wrote fanfic for Robin of Sherwood when we were just 13-14 years old. This was 20 years ago. Before we used the internet. We didn't know what fanfic was or fanart. But that was just what we did. We just called them stories and drawings. :-) Ah, Will Scarlet and Little John... :-D You will forever and forever be my first love there is... with a side of Nasir... So sexy... *sigh* Most of our stories were horrible, horrible Mary Sues though and will never see the layout of day.... Remember, we were very, very young. :-)

Then I left to live in Londonderry, New Hampshire USA for a year. And the family I lived with there was rabid fans of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: WarriorPrincess. I was doomed. X-D Started to read femme-slash and fanfiction as soon as I was allowed to use the family computer. *lol* And it got even worse when I moved home to Sweden again and we got a computer at home as well. Didn't write anything though, but I read... OMG, I read and printed out so so much fanfiction!

Then I moved to this city to start studying and meet a TON of very open-minded people, and then [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit moved here as well... and LotR's happend... and Harry Potter. [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit and [livejournal.com profile] chigrima, both very very dear friends of mine, turned into LotR's fangirls there for a while and dragged me into more and more male slash...

And the rest as they say, is history... :-) Now I am reading fanfics in a lot of fandoms and sometimes I try to find fanfics just for the hell of it... Usually [livejournal.com profile] peting73 give me a challenge after we've seen an old movie or such... and I just have to see if it exists fanfiction for said movie. Usually it does, which never stops surprising me. (Except for the movie Harley Davidsson & The Marlboro Man... and it should. Even [livejournal.com profile] peting73 agrees that that old movie is beyond slashy. Had I been able, I'd write my own.)

So yeah, that's my story. What's yours? :-)

And there was supposed to be a ficlet/drabble here tody. The beginning is really good. At least I think so. But I wrote myself into a corner with it. I just need someone to discuss said fic and the issues with. Any takers? Please? *begs*

In the meantime...

Want to read a really, REALLY different story? Yeah, it is slash, but I promise you... this is like NOTHING you've ever read before. I swear! It is NOT fanfiction, but an original piece. About mormon boys. That fall in love. And all the troubles that bring. And what makes this fiction so very VERY awesome, is that it is written by [livejournal.com profile] stoney321 who was once a mormon herself, but managed to get out of it. She knows what the hell she is talking about. There are no words, NO WORDS to have gawd damn awesome this is!

To qoute [livejournal.com profile] stoney321: Um, this story pretty much sums up my feelings on the matter of faith, homosexuality, and Mormons.

I love this fic so much, people. It is AMAZING!!! A must-read, I'd say.
And it came to pass...

Gotta share this to, while I am on a roll.... :-)

This wonderful quite magical music-video was shared on my Twitter-feed the other day. I just had to share it. :-) It is so so beautiful...! The animation is quite amazing!

We all need to hear something good, right? So, hey... Join in. :-)

Lil Demongirl...
Felt it was time for another update, since I haven't updated in a few days.

First off, thank you for keeping a civil discussion in my previous post. :-) I am glad to see so many G's fans around... and even got a few new people on my f-list as a resolot of that and off the epic G's friending meme! WOOT, WOOT! All good says, I. :-D

The first ever Georg & Gustav friending meme on [livejournal.com profile] gusti_love

So fandom wise, everything is brill... Especially since I found out that the ever awesome [livejournal.com profile] thilia is writing a prompt I never in my wildest dreams thought would be filled... and a Gustav-centric fic as well. o.O Girl. Damn. *worships*

Good thing I am a patient woman and can wait for goodies. :-D

ANYWAY!

This weekend was sorta busy, since I both worked and was invited to a birthday party! o.O Since it was my brothers, well... I kinda wanted to go anyway. :-P Plan had been that we would spend the night at moms checking out her renovated living room, but alas... that didn't work out.

So, Thursday, Friday and Saturday I worked in various libraries. Thursday and Friday in a smaller one, but longer hours. Worked really, really nice. And I got a lot of cudos for how I deal with visitors. :-) As would prove useful laters... I don't know why, but I have now learned that visitors to smaller libraries are more laidback, more friendly and I don't know... They just are...

Then Saturday I worked at the bigger city library downtown and hello... Visitors are more demanding and just.... more. :-P Not to mention I had to deal with one really creepy man. I was asked to keep an eye on the kids section, so I did. And this creepy old man around his 50's or 60's comes up to me... (Seriously, he had creepy written all over him... :-P) and asked me for help. Service-minded and friendly, I said sure... What can I help you with? And got the answer he was looking for girls... Not woman, mind... GIRLS... UGH! Add to the fact he was in the kids section of the library, and he got even more creepy. My gawd... WHY ME?!?!? Anyway, I said I couldn't help him with that, I can help him find information and books, nothing else. And got the answer that maybe I got information about my friends since I was taken what with ring and all... but my friends most be young and beautiful what with me being so as well... complete with a leer... I was pissed at this point, but didn't show it more then giving him short and cutting answers... (And man, am I good at that!) I finally got out of him that he was interested in politics to (and not only GIRLS, apparently), and showed him the section with books about politics and left him there... UGH! X-/

Going back to the kids section I was still swearing silently over the disgusting old man, when I got company in the kids section again! This time by an older couple who really gave off vibes of being just cute grandparents... So I asked if I could help them, and got into one AWESOME discussion instead, that perked me up right away! :-D Apparently the woman had worked as a librarian herself and now wanted to check out the library, since it is newly renovated. So we discussed that, and awesome library architecture (ended up discussing THIS library in Halmstad quite a bit... it is pure library porn...). Anyway, she was awesome and thought I was a really great librarian, since I am pretty different from most other librarians! She said that was brilliant and needed in this day and age. And she said I was one of the funniest she'd talked to as well, and told me to keep on doing my thing, that it was the right thing to do! Confidence boost, HOLY SHIT! :-D So that was made of win, one could say. :-D

After I had finished working, we went to my brothers birthdayparty which was so so much fun. :-) My brother is nuts. Nuts, but a wonderful father and husband to his wife. :-D It was so much fun to tease him and her during the evening (they both turned 30 within a month of each other...). Mom, me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73 bought a quite expensive gift to them both together, original art from Ateljé Holgers. A old fashioned tractor for my brother (he is a farmhand after all. ;-) ) and flowers, roses, for his wife (she works with flowers, and love them). Since we bought the original art, it turned quite expensive, but since we bought it together, I think it was worth it. :-) They both loved it, so all good says I.

And might I add... I almost didn't recognize my mother. o.O HOLY SHIT! One could say the gastric bypass surgery has been good for her... When she started this journey she weight 113 kilos (249 lbs) was a bit depressed, didn't have energy to do anything... Now? Well, now she is down to 90 kilos (198 lbs), she looks really healthy and has no problem with her knees anymore... she got energy and isn't depressed and just... WOW... o.O So fucking awesome! She is smaller then me now!

We had a fun time at the party, but it got a bit late. I mean, it takes 1½ hour to drive there and then 1½ hour to drive home. We left at... I think around 11pm? And then I had work on Sunday to. Pretty uneventful as it were, but still... I was working from 10:30am. :-/

I am a bit disappointed at the big city library downtown. One might think that organization would be good at a bigger library, yeah? Well... I wouldn't say so. I've been doing hours there for these last three weeks... and I have yet to be able to report my hours in so I can get paid... or sign a contract that I AM doing hours there! A bit fail, if you ask me.

On the plus side those I work with are very nice, if a bit eccentric. *lol* :-D Would mean I'd fit right in, right? ;-)

Gonna go work there today to in just an hour or so. :-) Yesterday I was off from work and didn't do anything useful at all, I swear. :-P But that's what your supposed to do on your day off, right? *grin* Surfed LJ and answered comments (SO MANY COMMENTS, MY GAWD! o.O) and watched Deathly Hallows Part 1. I've rewatched the entire Harry Potter series now, apart from the last movie. And they are all very good. Except one. I must say Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is really... not good. At all. Compared to the others. So that was a let down when I re watched that one a week or so ago. :-P Randomly though, Ron Weasley fucking rules. :-D

Anyway, MEME! :-D

30 days of me meme... )

Day 19 – Something you regret

Easy. And sad.

As you all know my father died 8 years ago. The day before he died I had thought about calling him wishing him good luck on his trip home (he'd had hip and knee-surgery in Stockholm and was to go home the next day). But instead a couple of friends had a game-night, so I joined them. And forgot to call him. In the morning I figured I'd call him that night... Instead mom called telling me my father was dead...

I regret this to this day. And probably always will.

If you get a chance to talk to your loved ones and just saying hey... Take it. You never know when it'll be to late.

Sailor goth...
You know what? I've been thinking back and forth about doing this post or not, but then... I just thought what the hell, and here we are.

I am disgustingly honest after all.

Warning! If you have a problem with Real People Slash though... you should probably skip this first part of the post.

That said...

WHAT THE FLYING FUCK?!??!

OK, I am DONE with shutting up. I KNOW I haven't been in the Tokio Hotel fandom as long as other fans... I KNOW I am older then most. I know! That alone makes me feel that I am not "good enough" as a fan. :-/ And now? Well I feel even more worthless as a fan.

And why, you might ask?

Because instead of being like the majority of the fandom and have a thing for reading about the twins aka reading twincest... and having Bill and Tom Kaulitz as my favorites... I, on the other hand, have a thing for reading fanfic about Georg and Gustav (with each other or one of the twins)... Georg and Gustav are my favorites.

But them G's are apparently not good enough, are they? It is SO often I feel the need the defend myself when I say that Bill is the least of my favorite in the band. It is insane! Yeah, I like him to. Of course I do! I love the entire band! But I have favorites, don't I? Everyone does. But to not put Bill or Tom at the top of the list is apparently Not OK. :-/ And if you don't, you gotta defend yourself. BAH!

Is it a wonder that in the solo-interview that Gustav did, he didn't even think any fans scream for him... Gawd, I just want to give the young man a hug. Dude, you got fans to... even though I do wonder sometimes about what some of the fans says about you and Georg... :-/ I just want to jump to your defense then, but at the same time not start a drama...

And there is the problem of it all, isn't it? Why do I have to DEFEND MYSELF for liking the G's more then the Twins? And why do I have to feel UNCOMFORTABLE saying I like the G's more then the Twins? That is just fucked up. It is THE SAME BAND! There would be no Tokio Hotel without the G's.... OR the Twins... They are a team, those four. A team and friends. Why can't all fans just.... Let everyone like whatever in the fandom, eh?

Gah!

Sorry about rambling. :-P I just had to get that off my chest. If you want to discuss in comments do, but keep it sorta civil, eh?

And here is a photo of them boys that I just rambled about.... just for the hell of it.

(Can click for HQ if you want...)

And now when I am done with that... have some more meme...

30 days of me meme... )

Day 18 – Your favorite birthday

Uhu? My favorite birthday? Hmm... I... don't know? I like all my birthdays really. Can't say I have a favorite as such. Every fifth year is a bit extra fun, since then my HUGE extended family come in full force. Meaning there is a party for about 50 people or so... (I really do have a HUGE extended family.) So, yeah. I'd have to say every fifth year is a bit extra fun. :-) Meaning next year, when I turn 35, things will get crazy and fun again with a huge party! :-D

ARGH!!!
