Gawd damn, my nose... and cats.

Oh fuck.... *groan*

I think I am coming down with a bug or flu or something, I don't know... Today has been HORRIBLE! Gawd DAMMIT! Sneezing all day, meaning I have to blow my nose all day... meaning my nose is red and hurt a lil... tender nose. And now, afternoon/evening... a headache just to top it off. WTF, body!!!

Tomorrow... Well, tomorrow I am supposed to go to that birthdayparty... Yeah... The one I kinda don't want to go to. :-/ I DO want to meet up with astroflammante, tekiila, skarvsladden and my other RL old friends that I know will be there... But if I feel like this tomorrow? I don't know... I... just don't know if that is such a great idea to go then, you know? I bet they'll say I got sick because I didn't wanna go, but I swear... I'd much rather be well and meet my friends, then feeling like this, thank you!

One fun thing about today was that our dear darling cats got their yearly shot and checkup at the animal hospital here. :-) The vets there are WONDERFUL! Our cats are indoor cats, so they go a bit crazy when we get them out the door... They are very good about going in their cat carriers. They have one each with soft blankets and old t-shirts in them (that them cats like to sleep on), so they are used to their carriers. So when we put them in the hallway, curious cats wondered what they were doing there and not on their usual spot... and walked straight into a carrier each. X-D Fooled cats are fooled! No complaints, only curious moving around in their carriers when we carried them to the car. And then... THEN! peting73 started the horrible scary car... And the cats started mewing and growling and sounding ABSOLUTELY miserable... Like we were torturing them or something... Keeping it up until we were at the animal hospital and turned the car off. Then they stopped. Just like that.

The vet was very sweet, checked their body, poked them all over. Said they both were in good health with nice healthy teeth (they are 7 years after all), even if both cats were slightly over-weight. Which we already knew. We got a pair of fat cats. X-D And yeah, we buy food for indoor cats that are made to make sure they don't get to fat. Gawd knows how fat they would have been otherwise... o.O Scary thought. Then our cats got their shots, we got them in their carriers again and got to the car... to hear the torture choir all the way home. X-D

Once home both Skuld and Verdandi got some shrimps, and were told what good cats they were. :-) No idea why, but they almost get high on shrimp, they love it so much! So them cats were soon happy again. :-D

One year more until next trip... :-P

Think I'll go to bed early tonight... I really hope I'll feel better tomorrow. :-P

I'm sorry to hear you are ill, it doesn't sound fun at all, and I know the feeling, then you just can't but know they will take it the wrong way, like you make it up ,I just hate that!

And aboute the shrimps, my cats have been the same, it's like you drouged them or something, they just went mad of pleaseur LoL

It all depends on how I am feeling in the morning... :-P Gonna sleep long and hard on it, trust me. I mean, I got a gift and everything! If nothing else, I can just stay a short while and then go home. Enough so I can meet my old friends at least. :-P

Cats + shrimp = insanity. That is all I can say about my cats, that's for sure!

I'm sorry you're feeling so poorly. *hugs* Seems everyone is sick lately.

Yay for kitties going nicely into their carriers. We have one that is horrible to get in her carrier. Vet visits can be traumatizing, but it sounds like your kitties didn't mind too much. :)

Yeah, it does seem like a lot of people have fallen sick. :-/ Damn annoying is what it is. Although I do feel much better now. :-)

Oh no, our cats doesn't mind going to the vets really. :-) Skuld mind a bit being handled, she doesn't like that so much. And none of them like needles, but who does really? :-) The true HORROR though... is the car. I don't know what it is, but they really really hate when the car is running and does tell us so. LOUDLY. Sounds like we are torturing our cats in the car when we drive them somewhere. :-P

You guys are so sneaky, getting your cats in their carriers that way. It's smart! I have to take Chloe to the vet this week -- you wanna come take her? ;) I'm so glad your kitties got a good report. And yummy shrimp!

Well, our cats are very curious, so as soon as something is changed in the apartment, this MUST be investigated! So when we move the carriers... they must be investigated... from the inside. X-D Ta da! Cats in carriers! *lol* They are very easy that way, that is true. :-)

I do feel a bit better now, so I hope it is going on the right track and all. :-P One can hope, right? :-)

Haha, sounds like you made it through unscathed this year. I remember some previous posts with some pretty scarring experiences to the vet!! Glad the cats are healthy. I hope YOU are healthy, though, feel better!

Oh yeah... There was one year when they pooped all over themselves and each other... so we had to give them a bath/shower... and they hate water. So that was... not a very nice experience when we came home. :-P

Since then we have them in a carrier each and it goes so, so much better. :-)
