This is KSena

Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

kseenaa: (Christmas gift by msviolentk@seastarcove)
Geez, people! I didn't plan on this when I joined [livejournal.com profile] th_wishlist! Sure, candy I planned on... And man, I have gotten so much candy from all over the world! That is so awesome! And thats what I have sent out around the world to. But this? WOW...

I finished off nearly all my Christmas shopping today! :-D Yep, all gifts bought in one day. Some ordered online (on swedish websites, so I should get them shortly) and the rest I bought today. :-D Feels awesome. And I have almost finished off all the packages to send out to [livejournal.com profile] th_wishlist people to. :-) Bought the last stuff today. YAY! This means, nearly all the preparations for Christmas is done.

After shopping I came home. And opened our mailbox. Now, our mailbox is quite small so getting my hand in I felt it was full. VERY full. I could hardly get the stuff out of there. Two packages were in there filling the thing up. Checking the address I saw one was from Great Britain and a box from South Africa! o.O HOLY SMOKES!

So, after dinner and more Christmas-card writing I grabbed [livejournal.com profile] peting73s camera and documented me opening them packages.

Package opening here! )

Girls? I don't know what to say... These packages really were something else. Thank you. THANK YOU SO FUCKING MUCH!

Loving Teddy
Insanity! When [livejournal.com profile] sueworld2003 posted that someone had found her on the wiki-page Fan History, I just loled. Apparently thats what happens when your all cool in fandom. And, out of curiousity, I looked myself up. And OMG! X-D I am there to! See? Right HERE!*laughs ass off* "Also known as KSena." *strikes a pose* X-D I am to easily amused.... Two fandoms where missing though, the oldest one: Robin of Sherwood and the newest one: Tokio Hotel. So I had to update my own wiki page! Just for the lulz! *grin*

Yesterday I was in Gothenburg with mom. She loves to walk around in that city with me, and I must agree. :-) It is awesome. My plan for the day was to buy a cool rocker-chick skirt... preferably out of denim (I love denim-skirts). But that failed. Instead I came home with a pair of seriously sexy shoes... that I can walk comfortably in, no less! And in my size! Mom shopped shoes to. Seemed to be the theme that day. *grin* Found a great restaurant to with awesome food and awesome service (Tvåkanten on Avenyn, I can highly recommend that place!). Mom, who has problems with her knees and legs (from her heavy weight) was quite proud that she managed to walk to whole length of the Avenyn without to much trouble. And she proudly told me she had lost 5 kilos (11lbs). That is good, indeed! Now when she is working, running around in a hospital, she moves around more and so gets more exercise. Hence, losing weight! This is good! So yeah, even though both our trains were late when we were leaving the city, it was still an awesome day!

Today I've started to clean out my apartment to make it shiny for the weekend. On Sunday I'll be celebrating my birthday. :-) Since I am traveling to mom to repaint her house on my actual birthday, the celebration will be held a bit early, as it were. ;-) And, of course, I want this place to look nice when I have guests here. Mom is coming (of course), [livejournal.com profile] peting73s mom and my aunt with her family. So just a tiny party. :-) Gonna be great. So I started to big clean of the very messy apartment today. Gonna do the last tomorrow. Then [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit came over, and we did two Zumba-exercises. One long and one short. Wicked! Move those hips, people! Put some flavour to it! *laugh* She has ordered her own DVDs now, since she thinks it is so fun. :-) The music in itself makes it impossible to stand still. So I have done that to.

Now I'll work on an application for [livejournal.com profile] cityofdesai. Another character jumped into my head, and demanded I'll play him in that RPG. Yes. Another one. Gawd dammit! Anyway, I got my application back with some questions and concerns not to mention they asked me to fix my sucky grammar, so I'll be working on that for the rest of the evening.

In the meantime you guys can enjoy these funny YouTube vids I have found through the people I follow on my Twitter!

First off: Any Twilight-hater wanna go with me to the movies? Because seriously... I gotta see this... I can't wait for this movie to hit the big screen! [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit? Want a date? X-D

Weekend...

Wow... Haven't updated in a few days. Shocking. *grin* All cool here though. I have had a great weekend, let me tell you! Although a bit scary to.

Why scary you ask? Because I spent a shitload of money this Friday. o.O I am not kidding. I bought myself a new pair of Doc Martens. :-) That always burns a hole in your wallet. This time though, I bought a different kind. I usually have there classical black ones. But when I got to Shock I saw they had a lot of different colours and styles. Even a the colour I had on my first ever Doc Martens when I was... 13 or 14 years old. Moss-green. :-D Talk about me going nostalgic! *grin* I ended up buying a pair of wine-red Doc Martens. They look absolutely awesome on, let me tell you! :-D No more wet feet from holes in shoes, thank you! So now I'll throw away two pairs of Docs, so I'll just be keeping these red ones that are actually whole. *grin* While I was there at Shock, [livejournal.com profile] peting73 asked me to shop a bit for his next vamp-character, so I did. A Misfits-tshirt and a pair of tartan suspenders. I also did buy a top for myself. That wasn't planned, but dammit, this Freak Circus top is just so me! (Mine is in a t-shirt model.)

So, that was the first stop. Next stop was Göteborgs Perukmakeri (Wigmaker's of Gothenburg). They not only sel wigs, but also professional movie/TV/theater-makeup. Heaven for LARPers in other words. ;-) So I shopped some makeup for [livejournal.com profile] peting73 like he wanted.

Since [livejournal.com profile] peting73s cousin had her birthday party this weekend I also had to buy a gift for her. Well, two actually since mom wanted me to buy a gift from her as well. So, off I went to the Sci-Fi Bookstore, since they have a lot of games to. She wished for a tabletop game. Problem = She has a mental handicap, so the rules must be very simple. Was not easy to find a game, let me tell you, but I did manage finally. Tsuro. Very simple rules, but hard to master. :-) Perfect! And while I was there, I of course found books I wanted... Dammit! So I ended up buying three manga novels for myself. The three first books in the prequel for Godchild named The Cain Saga. I love the art and themes in those books. So, a good chunk of money disappeared there to. One gift down, I also went to my favorite jewelry store, Avi & Lena Design, and bought a necklace for her to, from mom.

And finally, I had decided to buy a new sweater for myself, since I kinda need that. Off I went to another store that I really like, Sonny Bono that sell Italian mens fashion. There sweaters are AWESOME! But damn expensive. The one I liked the best was more expensive then my Doc Martens.... That should say something. :-P Anyway, I found a cheaper one (still a lot of money), that fitted me perfectly and was very nice!

After that, I went home. And was horrified with how much money I had spent. [livejournal.com profile] peting73 just patted me on the head saying he was glad I had fun. :-P Dammit. He is not supposed to be so understanding when I spend so much money! I checked, and on all that stuff I spent around 4000 SKR (530 USD). o.O Yeah... *gulps*

The evening was awesome though! [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit and I had ourselves a girls night out. First we drank wine and liqueur and watched the final in Lets Dance. Then we put our makeup on and got down the check out the pubs downtown. :-) Was awesome! We even found a new one that we didn't know existed even! Awesome place! Ran into an ex-workmate off mine that gave me a huge hug and told me I looked fucking awesome! *beams* Always awesome to hear. Me and [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit were very amused by the bathroom habits at that place though... We got in line. Waited. A bathroom got available. A man and woman went in together. We looked at each other and smirked.... And we waited, and waited some more. Next bathroom available. Three men went inside. Both me and [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit love reading slash-fic, so you can imagine the giggle smirk we did at that.... So, we were next in line. And we waited and waited and waited... It took a long time. We looked at each other and the last bathroom. And came to the conclusion it has to be two people in there to! Can't be... But yes. The door opens, and a man and a woman walks out. X-D We looked at each other and laughed! Then we took turns using said bathroom. You could say the evening was awesome, with very... dirty discussions, delicious British cider and a very yummy red drink, unfortunately we never got the name of said drink.

Saturday, yesterday, was spent on [livejournal.com profile] peting73s cousins birthday party and then we just lazed around in the apartment. We watched the first movie in the Millennium Trilogy - The girl with the dragon tattoo. Really awesome movie! Swedish movie when it is at its best. :-) From what I have heard, the other two are supposed to be even better. Can't wait to see them. We also honored the Earth Hour, of course.

Today we'll just laze about, I think. Hopefully watch movie two in the Millennium Trilogy. ;-)

Dangling gargoyle
This is my [livejournal.com profile] adayinmylife-post for Friday the 5th of March. :-) Yep, thats the day I had a date with [livejournal.com profile] kaijn and got to see Tokio Hotel live at the Scandiavium in Gothenburg. :-D It was one awesome day, let tell you! With silliness, lots of hugs and GREAT music! :-D

This is the biggest photo-post I have done, so BEWARE is all I say. There are 84 photos under the cut... with comments to each and every photo. Not only from the concert, but from my whole day. :-)

One hell of a day...  )

My post at [livejournal.com profile] adayinmylife hasn't been approved yet, but I hope it will be soon. :-)

Music!

Oh, I adore Grooveshark... Just saying. Free music, ability to make your own play-lists, to put add favorites... I mean. So much win! If you haven't visited this site before and love music... I say go! Run! Shoo!

This week is gonna be lazy and slightly insane. All the libraries in the city are closed down the entire week, since ze big change of ze computer-system is about to happen. So, basically no library can lend books or return books or anything really for an entire week. And the librarians are mostly in class to learn how to work this new system. Me, just being a trainee, am not allowed to join this class. A bit sad, but I do understand why to. So... *shrug*

It does give me two days off this week and two really really short days. :-) This, I will take advantage off! I'll make sure to buy ALL Christmas-gifts! ([livejournal.com profile] tekiila, [livejournal.com profile] skarvsladden? Not checking your email, are you guys?) Well, I have bought about half off them gifts already online, so not that much left. Gladly. :-P

Another thing I'll make sure to do these two days off are decorating our apartment. To [livejournal.com profile] peting73s chagrin... He isn't that found of Christmas-decorations. I am. But we have come to an understanding. He allows me to put quite a bit up. I am not putting up all I have... ;-) Works out quite nicely. :-)

Oh, and on Wednesday I'll be going on a meeting with the guy that the vampire-LARP society rents our rooms from. I called him today and asked basically, WTH? And after much talking it was clear that the LARPer doing the oh so dramatic post was... a bit over-dramatic. :-P Anyway, I'll be the new contact between them and our sociaty. Hopefully that will make sure that things will calm down a bit. I have been in similar positions before while being involved with the Sexmasters. Nothing new. *shrug* And, as always, I'll have my scary intelligent [livejournal.com profile] peting73 as support. On Wednesday I'll go on a meeting with him to talk things over. Good thing I am off work, since he can only do meetings and calls during business hours... Dude. We have a life. We work. We go to school. That won't work in the long run. But thats just one off the things we'll talk about, I guess. :-)

Teddy and blue flowers...
