Getting stuff done...

I have actually done some good today. Surprisingly. I have been around a bit looking for jobs. Visited 3 libraries and talked with the librarians there, all very nice people. Of course, libraries don't have that much cash, sadly, so they weren't sure if they had any use of me. They'd get back to me, or so they said. Tomorrow I'll try and visit there more, and then I only have one more to visit on Wednesday. Trying to get a job here. I hope I'll get a job, I really do. Got two calls to make on Monday, to see what that might bring. Good things, I hope. Cross your fingers.

Apart from that, I haven't done much at all. Just been lazy. But neither me or [livejournal.com profile] peting73 have had any energy what so ever today. The weather has been really, really weird. :-/ So I am impressed by myself that I managed to do at least that much. Hopefully there will be a better day tomorrow.

Send a thought to [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit to. She worked her first day after her vacation today, so yeah.... She is probably not in the best of moods. Hang in there, sis!

And then lastly:

Actually not so trixy this time. I have two favorites, and it is not any of the newer songs... I like these two, because you can almost imagine a story to the little movie, if you will. I like the setup of them, the imagery... Well, almost everything. :-)

Good times!

OMG! What a day! Or two! o.O

Lets start with Wednesday, shall we?

I was working like usually and my boss was in her office working. When her boss called and told her that there were two jobs advertised only in-house around the libraries. On there Intranet. And she told my boss to make sure I bloody well applied for them! So I did! :-D I worked all night last Wednesday night fixing up a really, really snazzy application that I handed in yesterday. So, if... IF I get one of these jobs I'll work 75% at either the bigger library 5mins from here or the smaller one 20mins from here. It would be FUCKING AMAZING if I could get one of these jobs, I tell you! This is my fucking DREAM, people! To even get a chance... To have the boss of the bigger library (well, she is the boss of both, actually) call and basically telling me to apply since they might want me.... Amazing, I tell you.

Anyway, so today both me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73 were of from work so we decided to fix up our balcony so the cats can go out there. Putting up a net and sturdy it up with some boards. After cleaning it up to, it looks damn neat, people! Tomorrow I think I'll go buy some flowers and put them out there. :-)

After our balcony project, I ran over to [livejournal.com profile] peting73s cousin, since she had a home-party with jewelry today. Was awesome. Pretty, pretty jewelry and awesome cookies and coffee and cake and... Well, it was awesome. :-)

Good days! :-D

This and that, here and there....

Pimping like hell at [livejournal.com profile] crack_tourbus! Quite fun, actually. :-) (Note: If you don't like Tokio Hotel fic, do NOT go there. Just saying.) At least I am having fun, yeah? And I never denied that I am an old perv. ;-)

Found Hugh Hefner at Twitter. He is surprisingly.... ordinary and boring. Hmm... On the other hand, that old perv is 84... I guess he is entitled to be a bit dull at that age. ;-)

Today I was at yet another library looking for work. This one, even smaller! Impossible as it might seem. But really nice, none the less. They might call me if one of them get sick. I got along great with the boss there and one of the librarians. The third one, not so much.... :-P She was like a malicious portrait of an old boring librarian. :-P Apparently I didn't fit her picture of who should work there.... *snort* Oh well. We'll see if they'll call or not. ;-) I gave them my card with my contact-info.

Other then that, I haven't done much today. Well, I have laughed at my cats. Seriously? Why sleep in the kitchen sink, girls? You are so weird...

Now I am off to watch True Blood! Damn, that show is good. :-D

Nervousness... and Twilight bashing!

Holy shit, I am so nervous about tomorrow. o.O I only know when I am supposed to be at the library (8am) but thats it. Nothing more then that. :-P First thing on our agenda that day is to make a schedule for me. Apparently I am to be at two libraries during my trainee period, since the school-library don't have that many open hours, and is fully closed on Fridays. Also, I am expected to talk about books in front of groups of kids..... *gulp* Talking in front off adults, no problems. But kids... I love kids, and I don't wanna scare them with a boring book, dammit! *bites off some more nails* Oh well. Hence why I am just on a trainee job. I need to learn, don't I? :-P

Well, lets do something else so I don't feel that nervous. :-P I know! Lets bash Twilight all to hell! Thats always fun, ain't it? ;-) Have some fun stuff:

Click for bigger. And yeah, this is so awesome, you do need to see this bigger. From left to right: Alucard (best in class), Darren, Lois, Lestat, Spike, Angel. Teachers being Bela Legosi's Dracula himself, and Nosferatu (look them up if your not familiar with them, just saying...). And in the corner of shame... what do we have but Edward having the Gary Stu hat on (having his sparkles killed by Nosferatu), Bella with the Mary Sue hat on and lastly Jacob (not technically a vamp, but still) having a special hat: Just Dunce. Much love to the artist for making this. It has replaced the goth boys on my desktop so I can giggle madly at it each day. :-)

When we're in on the Twilight bashing roll, check out this AMAZING parody. I laughed my ass off, since this is basically the whole movie! X-D It is definitly worth the 7min it takes to watch. The actors are made of win. I don't understand how they could stop from laughing there asses off while doing this. :-D

For more LOL, click here! )

And since I'll be working in a library from now on... Have some BOOKSHELF PORN! YEAH! :-D I would murder to have that library with the tree in it...

And just for the hell off it... WoW-cakes. Epic. Yeah.

Right. Now I feel a little better. Well, that and the porny fanfics I just read sure helped. *cough*

Lots of things going on in my life as it were, and in my families life to. :-) I think it is all of the good though. :-)

YAY! I got it!

Today I got a call from the local government office. And I am accepted as a trainee at the little school library! FUCKING YAY, YOU GUYS!!! *does happy dance* This is so awesome. :-D And when they called the library, the school librarian working there had apparently talked really nicely about me. :-D This is so awesome. And when I called her today to ask her when on Thursday to be there, she said she'd make sure I can do some time at the other library that is really close to home as well. OMG... Finally... FINALLY... This means, more personal contacts within the library world in this city. I am ecstatic at the moment about this. :-D Nervous to, of course, but mostly I am insanly happy. :-D It is a huge opportunity for me, and I'll make damn sure to do the most off it, you can count on that. :-D

Tonight we were supposed to work with Kiltfan and M on what songs to sing on the wedding, to make a little song booklet. But as always we got stuck talking. Or more like [livejournal.com profile] peting73 and Kiltfan got stuck talking. :-P Oh well. We'll make a new try on Sunday when me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73 is insanely tired after the LARP on Saturday. :-P Oh well. I hope something will come off it. *crosses fingers* The wedding is closing in. Slowly, but steadily.

Now I am off to bed then. ;-)

Meh day... and suits.

My plan for today was to be slightly lazy, fix my desk (that is again, a serious mess). But no such thing. Oh no. I don't know what was up with [livejournal.com profile] peting73 pacing the apartment like... I don't know what today. And that just annoys me when he does that. So I asked him whats the matter. Answer: He needed to do something. My problem? I think not. But it ended up with us going to the zoo and visiting his mother. Usually things I enjoy doing, but today I would much have preferred sitting in a corner of our apartment and just be. :-P Can't have everything, I guess. Best part was the visit to a cat-show that was being held today, that none of us knew was going on. I love cats.

Yesterday was a much better day though! Before the insanity off the Deadlands roleplaying session, we went shopping me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73! And that don't happen often, since [livejournal.com profile] peting73 isn't that fond of shopping. Yesterday though we did. And we were shopping suits. Yes. One each. Suits for men. Both of them. ;-) Yes, I love suits. I really do. They are so so sexy, on both men and women. And not only did I need a new one (my old on is more or less in tatters) but I needed something stylish for Kiltfans and Ms wedding. We also found out that Dressman had a 40% sale going on in the city, so... Perfect timing! And we got two suits and a great looking west for [livejournal.com profile] peting73 as well for much less money then we thought we would have to spend! Much win!

Tomorrow I'll try and find out what the hell is going on with my trainee job. It has been more then a week, and I haven't heard anything. And everytime I call my contactperson at the employment office all he tells me is that he hasn't heard anything either and asks me to wait. Blah, I say. :-P

Roleplaying in wild wild west! And Tokio Hotel!

Last night our first roleplaying session with a new game and well... lots of dear friends. With just as weird and silly a humor as we have. Yeah. It went slightly insane! X-D I loved it. And the gaming world seems to be quite awesome to! Woot!

The game we are playing is Deadlands. And, from what I get so far, it follows regular history during the American civil war up to the Battle of Gettysburg. Then it goes way way downhill... See, the people dying in said battle didn't stay dead... they turned into zombies... X-D A good description of the game that turned up during the evening was that it is a mix off Wild Wild West and Deadwood with added zombies and other horror-movie creatures... X-D I am loving it already.

It was DevilCandy (who is our game-master) that invited me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73 along, and asked the others to come along as well. I wonder if she regrets it? *smirk* Anyway. So. What do we have? We have a mad scientist (played by [livejournal.com profile] peting73), a veteran from the war - old geezer guy, a gorgeous gunslinger girl who hates girly/feminine woman (and don't know how to use a soap), a trapper that is good at what he does but is not that smart and a female Sioux warrior that is head taller then everyone else (and broader to) and is an alcoholic (played by me)... X-D

I smell many disasters for this group during there adventures... and lots of fun for us that plays them. Ha ha ha! Considering how slightly nutsy my dear friends are that we play with, I shouldn't be surprised. We'll do our first adventure on saturday. Expect silliness.

Alas though, I haven't heard anything about my trainee job at the library. I have called my contact at the employment office, but no news. He said he had called the local government office several times, but hadn't gotten any response yet. Bleh. I really need to hear back from them on Monday, I really do. :-P

Now for something totally different. Tokio Hotel's new music video has been released! Woot! It don't look half bad, I'd say. Only beef I have with it is that you see only the singer, not the rest off the band. Well, OK, we do get some glimpses of Tom doing his thing with the guitar, but nothing of Gustav behind the drums or off Georg with his bas guitar. I would have liked to see them in the music vid to. Especially Georg. He is the cutest. *nods* And got a girlfriend. Damn.

Automatic! )

They have also released the first episode off this season off Tokio Hotel TV on there website, called Seahorses & Nightmares. Yeah. It is good to know your making a lot of sense, boys... or not. X-D Fun clips of the recording of there music vid, of course. Sad Tom with broken limited edition Gibson guitar and a very girly scream in a roller-coaster at the end... I wonder if it is Bill? Would be more fun if it was Tom though... *giggle-snort*
Tokio Hotel TV on there website HERE!

And then I got this link from [livejournal.com profile] croaky on Twitter. Damn. Damn, damn, damn... And why Stockholm? What is wrong with Gothenburg? *grumble*

Birthday off Kaulitz twins plus libraries...

Today was quite excellent, thank you. :-) I visited the library I try to get a trainee job at, and I had loads of fun with the librarian there. She is so nice. We tried to get a hold of the people at the local government office, but neither me or she could get a hold off them. Yeah. Not sure if I am allowed to work there still. I left my card to her (yes, I have fixed so I know have those professional looking cards to give away...) so she got all my contact info, and I got hers so I can call her right away if I get any news. I promised I would. My contact at the employment office again apologized that he couldn't do anything more. It is out of his hands, really. *sigh*

Oh well. :-) To cheer myself up, here be a picspam! Today Tom and Bill Kaulitz, twins of Tokio Hotel fame, have there 20th birthday.

(You might wanna skip this one, [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit... ;-D)

These pics/photos range from some really, and I do mean really, old pictures off them as kids, and range on to.... Well, last weekend actually when they did a concert in Köln. :-) They have come far, haven't they? And grown quite a bit to. (They are probably 11 or 12 at the first photo.)

I for one hope they get a calm birthday with just family and friends. I think they get enough off stalkers and fans on an everyday basis. :-P

2. Answer one question with one name.
3. Don't tell the questions to anyone who isn't doing the meme.

Bookcrossing and bureaucracy...

Well, I did call my contact at the employment office today. And so, have started the bureaucracy work for getting me to that trainee job. Seems it is not that easy... But when is it every when it comes to bureaucracy, eh? Anyway, for me to be able to work there, they'll have to go through a certain department at the local government office that takes care off all the trainee jobs in the city. If they say yes, then I can start to work. If they say no, I can't. Simple as that. This is nothing the employment office can do anything about, and my contact (who is quite great) even apologized for that. Not his fault. He is just doing the best he can with the rules he has been given. Oh well. At least now they are working on it. All I can do is wait and see.

I promised the librarians to be there on Tuesday, and I will. But I can't officially work there. At least not yet. But I'll be there visiting that day and we'll see what that leads to. Contacts among the libraries and librarians are worth there weight in gold in this city.

While running around the libraries here these days, I did do some bookcrossing as well. In the excitement off possible trainee job, I forgot the post the photos I took. :-) So I'll do that just now.

I haven't bookcrossed in months, so it was fun to do that again. :-)

The 26th when I was running around asking at all them libraries, I did put out three books in the wild.

Bookcrossing photos under here! )

Then yesterday, during my awesome day, I did some bookcrossing on my way home. :-)

One more bookcrossing photo here! )

Tonight me and [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit was supposed to go to her gym to a dance class, but alas it was raining cats and dogs, as they say in Great Britain, so when I got there in my car, [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit was soaked to the bone, so we skipped it, got her some dry clothes, went home to my place and did a Zumba class instead. Awesomely fun! One of the dance-steps I am having troubles with, but it was a bit easier to do it with [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit. No wonder. She's been a dancing instructor for years. ;-) Even she had trouble with that step though, so now I know I am not a total idiot! *laugh*

Right. Now I'll go try and keep up with the Tokio Hotel communities. Damn, they are active these days! o.O A ton of new photo's, vids and interviews are released what with there new album coming soon, and they had an exclusive concert in Köln yesters.... Yeah. Lots off pretty to look at. ;-)

What. A. Day. o.O

Geez, where to begin...?

Lets start from the beginning, shall we?

This day started as most days. I decided to do my ironing, and did so while watching the movie Stepford Wifes. (Insane, but mildly entertaining. Didn't see that end coming, actually.) Worked nicely. :-)

After that, I surfed the net a bit. Decided to order another DVD with Tokio Hotel. The collection of Tokio Hotel TV episodes, just for the hell off it. :-P Especially when I saw on there website that they are going to air a new season off Tokio Hotel TV. I wonder if it is going to be over 50 episodes in this one to? I also saw THIS little vid at [livejournal.com profile] demon_kyos userinfo. It just shows how absolutely insane these boys are. No really. Tom? You look absolutely insane when your drunk. Nice grab on that girls ass there, btw. Following links I found a bunch of vids with funny quotes said by them boys during there career so far. And man... Geez... The way they talk about sex. At age 15 or 16... *laughs* Must give some prude Americans grey hairs. Especially Tom. Damn, your turning into my favorite with your bad mouth. X-D See the first one HERE, and then just... follow them links. :-D

After that I went to the library I was told about yesterday. And OMG! Such a nice school! And what a lovely library! And the best thing was that I hit it off with the two librarians right away! I am not kidding. And I looked my every day self, black clothes, purple fingernails, black wristband... Well, you know... And the older off the two was WONDERFUL! I am not shitting you! I felt totally comfortable with her, we talked for more then an hour. And in the middle off our talk, she said that she felt really good about me and liked me a lot. I mean, how great ain't that??? She really wanted me as a trainee there, and said I was welcome to start a trainee job on Tuesday, bright and early at 8am! o.O FUCKING YAY! AT A BLOODY LIBRARY! I HAVEN'T WORKED AT A LIBRARY IN YEARS! DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW BLOODY HAPPY I AM OVER THIS!??!?!?!

So, tomorrow bureaucracy. All the bleeding paperwork that needs to be fixed to make sure I can work there as a trainee without it affecting my unemployment fund and my contact with the employment office (who told me to get a trainee job to start with...).

I am so thrilled over this, you have no idea! :-D

Since I was bike-riding there, I had to hurry home and fix dinner, since once [livejournal.com profile] peting73 got home we didn't have much time, since we were going to the movies this evening. I made it home on time and all, and managed to fix the dinner on time to, so... We didn't need to stress it.

And we watched a movie we were both curious about. Inglorious Basterds. What. A. Crazy. Ass. Movie! o.O There is only one way to describe it. It is totally cracked. It is a Tarantino-movie. And it shows. Both me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73 loves Tarantino, and we laughed our asses off (even when no one else in the theater was laughing...). If you can stand insane humor and lots of blood, then this is the movie for you. If your sensitive, avoid it. :-D Just saying. ;-)

Oh, and I got myself a Plurk account today to. :-D It is a bit like Twitter, but I must say I like the look of Plurk much, much more. :-) So, you can follow my day HERE, if you wish to. And if you want to, join Plurk HERE!

Well now... That was good!

Productive day is productive. :-)

Been doing the laundry today, which is good, of course. But thats not what being productive is about today. :-) No.. I have visited three libraries today, begging for either employment or a trainee job. Well, most likely a trainee job, since there are so many librarians here in the city but still... If I got a trainee job, they would remember me and call me back if someone got sick and such... Would be a good thing.

Anyway, I started out at the University library (since that place is library porn, plane and simple). Sadly the boss off the place was in meetings all day, so I have sent her an email with my inquiry, as I was asked to by one of the librarians there. Onwards to the city library. Same thing there, although it seems I have to ask someone at the city-office about trainee job there. *shrug* I got the contact info to said person, so we'll see. Next, I went to the tiny library in this part off town. Well, that was a really good idea on my part, I must say. :-D

The librarians there were AWESOME! :-D We talked about books, my masters thesis, comics, libraries, librarians, kids + books (my favorite subject), and much more. They were really nice. Seemed like they really regretted not being able to take me on as a trainee. They were to many at that tiny library as it were. BUT! They gave me a tip. One of the school libraries not to far from here might have a place open for a trainee... or an employee coming in doing random hours. o.O Whoppido! Thats the best job-news I have heard in a long time! So, I got a number from them nice librarians, and a name. They also told me to go there, since this person likes to meet people face to face. I couldn't agree more. I like that to. :-)

So thats what I'll be doing tomorrow then! Oh, and doing the ironing. ;-) Good day! :-D

Now I'll play WoW while waiting for True Blood to come on! :-D

Well, fail....

So, I had a job-interview today. It didn't go well.

When I talked to the guy on the phone, he sounded alright. I checked out the companies website. Sounded alright to. I am not to fond of telemarketing, but as telemarketing goes... This didn't sound to bad.

So off I went. And getting there, he was not at all like in the telephone. Should have known though... Telemarketing, yeah? He gave off a sleazy feeling. In fact, the whole place felt sleazy. And I heard the telemarketers working, while waiting for my interview. Ugh... That did not make me feel good, let me tell you. Still, I figured, hey! A job is a job right? And when the interview started, I tried to sell myself that I was good and all, and in the same time being truthful when he asked something. But I guess I didn't hide my feelings about telemarketing well enough... :-/ It ended with him wishing me good luck (with a fake smile) and telling me there was no need for me to come back basically.

Fuck 'em. I am to good for telemarketing anyway.

Life, friends and fangirl-stuff...

Yesterday was excellent! :-D

I took a bike-ride downtown to buy some stuff for my pirate-coat (only the buttons left!) and while I was down there walking around, my phone rang. :-P See, the day before on Wednesday an ex-workmate of mine jumped me on MSN telling me to apply for a job here in town. I did. Not a job I would have applied to regularly, but beggars can't be choosers. It is a telemarketing job. *sigh* Anyway. The guy at the place called, and wanted to talk to me so... we scheduled an interview. I don't know what that tells about me that the only job I even get an interview for is a telemarketing job. *shakes head at self* Anyway, it sounds like it is a way better company then Transcom, where I worked before, so I'll go there and we'll see what might happen.

In the evening I went over to [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbits and we worked some more on said pirate-coat. Now all preparations are done, so now we can start putting it all together. Exciting! The colours look awesome. Black linen for the coat it self, and wine-red linen for the lining. :-) I'll have to buy some really cool buttons for this coat. Problem. I need at least 28 buttons! o.O And I always buy two extra as spares. So, that makes it 30 buttons! Thats a lot of buttons... :-P Project for next week. Find buttons! :-D

Tonight we are going over to my cousins since she celebrates her birthday. :-) Gonna be fun to meet my extended family again. Loud, slightly insane. But always loving. (Even when they complain about the way I dress... I am 30+ years old! I can wear what I want, dammit!) I bet the son of my second cousin is going to jump me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73 tonight. He loves talking about World of Warcraft with us, since he thinks it is soooo cool that two adults play the same game he and his friends does. :-D It is kinda cute actually.

Also, in a total fangirl note. The other fandoms I am involved in there turns up a few icons here and there. Likewise in the stock-icon communities I watch. Then there is the Tokio Hotel communities... o.O Holy shit, they are active! To many icons, to little slots... and still I am up to 199 user icons. o.O I guess I stumbled on them boys just in time, since they are about to release a new album soon, and now there's popping up new photos all over. That might have something to do with everyone being so active to. But gosh! I can't download everything, dammit! *face-desk* *goes to fix dinner instead*

Strange music and good meetings....

Went on a meeting to the Trygghetsråd (No good translation there... Safetycouncil?) to get more help finding a job. And it was a very good and productive meeting! My contact person there was awesome in fact, and gave me lots of good help and tips and ideas. It might still take some time to get a job, but my chances are much better then the last time I was unemployed, despite the current economic crises going... So that was awesome!

Been a bit funny sitting next to [livejournal.com profile] peting73 today when he surfed the net... He has been on YouTube for hours, and on Wikipedia... He started watching different vids with the Ievan Polkka, and a lot if different variations, then continued on to looking at russian folk dancing, especially cossack dancers, onwards to different World of Warcraft vids, and now it is Metallica vids he is looking at... And all the things in between... X-D Been quite amusing! A lot of good music to listen to as well!

Progress!

My community has been promoted! :-D Right HERE at [livejournal.com profile] community_promo! And I got one more member to show for it. :-D Lets hope it will bring more. I'll post what I eat for breakfast, I think. And then I'll post my "famous" chocolate cake (without carbs!) there as well. I'll just have to translate the recipe since it is from a swedish cook book, but oh well... If it can bring in more members, it will be worth it, I say. :-)

The meeting with the career coach yesterday, was... weird... :-P I had no expectations at all, and didn't know what you did when meeting such a person. So, we mostly talked. About what my goals are, and how I plan to reach them. Things I have already thought about. So it didn't give much really. He was a nice man though, so it wasn't a totally wasted hour.

Today we've been shopping gifts. In two weeks and in three weeks two off my second cousins kids will take there confirmation. Not that we are very religious in my family, but it is sorta tradition you know? Besides, you get gifts. So we got some really awesome gifts for them! We got a little candle holder in glass made by Mats Jonasson. It is so beautiful! For the other kid we both a beautiful bowl made off black glass with some pattern in it. Gorgeous! So that will definitly be fun!

Tomorrow will be a bit more busy. During the day we'll go visit my brother, since we'll celebrate his daughters birthday (we got a gift for her today to). Right after that, we'll go back here and to the LARP for a couple of hours and then! We'll go to sleep. It is going to be a loooong day tomorrow. But fun to!

This and that.... here and there...

Sorry about spamming you all... Expect more off that in case I lose my job. :-P

Talking off which, I actually applied for another job already. Might start early, yeah? A job at the Gothenburg public library. Would be awesome if I got it, but I know there is a shit load of librarians around here, so I doubt I'll be the only one applying for it, if I put it that way... At least I did apply. :-P

Been playing Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning today. It is a lot like World of Warcraft. But with a different style. I must say, I prefer World of Warcrafts style a bit more. That might have to do with the fact I have played said game for four years, but still. I have a month of playtime on Warhammer, so I'll compare them a bit more when I have played a bit more, so to speak. :-)

Now for some pimpage! :-)

First, I have to tell you all about this, I really do. The awesome and amazing [livejournal.com profile] jans_intentions is giving out her first book come May! I have been following her amazing stories, mostly AU stories in the Buffy fandom and let me tell you... They are AWESOME! Now, she writes original and I can't WAIT to have her book in my bookshelf! Right next to [livejournal.com profile] djredhawk, who started her career in the Xenafandom, I might add. So cool to have been able to follow a writer and her development during the years. She is now working on her third book, before the first is even published. The woman is one hard-working writer. :-D

She and [livejournal.com profile] furriboots have made a trailer for her book, and if this won't make you curious, I don't know what will:
Trailer under here... )
Wanna read more about her book and the trailer, see HERE.

Magic green ball...

Wonders among wonders...

I got an interview tomorrow for a job. The job I really, really want... Gosh. Do keep your fingers crossed for me tomorrow, eh?

The weekend was nice. Lots of WoW played during the sunday, but thats really no news that we play WoW here on our free time. During the saturday though we went visiting my mom and my brother. My mom has renovated her kitchen, and I must say it looked stunning. A whole new place. So much brighter and bigger. Well, it isn't exactly bigger, but it looks like it is with the brighter colors. :-) I am really happy for her, she surely takes care of her house, the best she nows how. :-) And so we visited my brother and little Tilda. Good heavens... Can hands be that small??? She was so cute, making faces and all. My brother was really cute with her to. Tilda got him around her little finger already. :-) Bro's fiancé was really happy and proud to. All in all, it was a grand saturday. :-)

Hope everyone else reading had a grand weekend to. :-) I'll just go stop being shocked and prepare the evenings AD&D session now. :-D

One possibility gone, a new coming...

Well, I was at a meeting yesterday with the local history association, that hired me to be a leader for that children-dance-and-play thing.... Since I have had NO kids coming whatsoever to my classes they are closing it down. So, no more jobbs for me. I'll, of course, be payed for work I have done, even if it is not much money but still. Kinda sucks. :-P Not much I can do about it then I already have though. Going for a walk in a minute to return keys for the little room they rented for me, and take down the posters I made. And then there is the end of that.

Today though, I got a call from Transcom that they got my application and wanted to see me in the future. Good news! They have an office here in this city, so working for them would be wonderful. Not to mention I have several friends working there already. I have been on an interview there once already, which I told the lady who called, so she put me on top of the pile of people waiting for an interview... This is all good news, and makes me feel great. :-D

All in all a pretty good day, in other words. Joined [livejournal.com profile] japewierds new community to, that might not be as active as [livejournal.com profile] darker_spike, but be more of my taste since they lost there darkness, so to speak. So anyone who wants kink, or just likes to torture Spike in all the ways possible, go join The Spike Torturers Society: [livejournal.com profile] tortured_spike!!!

Over and out... :-)
