What a f***ing day...
This day... has NOT been good. Christ!
Started late last night. I was so wide awake I didn't go to bed until a bit past midnight. Couldn't relax. Tossed and turned, but couldn't fall asleep.
Then Alexandra woke up. OF COURSE! And having a bit of a cough, she couldn't fall asleep either. Finally I just tossed her in bed with me and![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
peting73 so she could sleep between us. Finally at least me and Alexandra feel asleep, but I only got... 3 hours of sleep. Tops. peting73 didn't sleep at all.
And today it was Monday.peting73 had so many hours extra he could go home earlier and go to bed. I did not have such luxury.
Oh, and of course, the first thing I do is spill the soda I had brought for work all over myself. (We have a Sodastream at home.) FUN TIMES!
Not long after that, three of the worst kids at that school enters the library. And continues to wreck it. Not even joking. They pulled books out of the shelfs, ran around being obnoxious and disturbing the other kids.
Tried to get them out. Did they listen? No. My colleague had to tell them really harshly to get out.
Calm for... 30mins tops.
Then them kids return! Again, being obnoxious little shits trying to wreck the place again. And not listening to me. They got NO respect towards adults.
This time my colleague hunted them out of the library. Not even joking. He RAN after them! And he is usually a very gentle older man.
*rubs forehead
Yeah, no. Not a good day. And it's not the first time those kids have been trouble. And we're not the only ones having trouble controlling them. Everyone at the school does.
But, at the suggestion of a teacher, I've kept a document on my computer listing ALL the incidents since I got the suggestion. It's quite the list. I printed it today and gave it to their form-master and to our rock-chick-headmistress (who don't take shit from nobody and WILL be obeyed or ELSE!). Yeah, I kinda like our headmistress. No surprise there.
But now at least I've done SOMETHING about the situation. I hope it'll help. I really do.
Evening have been nice. Alexandra has been a sweetheart today, despite the troublesome night. So that is good. :-) And, sincepeting73 already had a nap since he left work early, I got one to. YAY!
And now, tonight, since I've gotten back into the LJ swing of things again, I decided to change my layout. With all the changes going on here I figured I could do some to. :-) Tomorrow, I'll deal with my profile. (And no, I am not going to discuss how I feel about them changes. They're both good and bad and it's up to each and everyone to feel however they want about it.)
In conclusion, here's hoping for a better day tomorrow. Because it seriously can't get worse than it was today. :-P
