I've had quite a nice few days, I must say... Having so many days off has been wonderful really. :-)
Saturday we visited mom to check up on her after her surgery and just saying hi. :-) She loves it when we comes to visit. And she was doing GREAT! :-D Felt really good, and even though she can only eat teeny tiny portions of food at a time, she felt full all the time. Amazing. :-) Summer has finally arrived to Sweden and arrived good. And visiting mom and during the drive there, I was again reminded that yeah... Sometimes this country does show off it's good sides. ;-)

On our way to mom, we always stop at this WONDERFUL little coffee shop that is in the middle of a stream... we stopped there for breakfast this time and it was great! The sun was shining, birds chirping... and all that water. You sit on little islands bound together with little bridges in the middle of the stream. Bliss. :-)
peting73 of course ran around with his epic camera taking pictures here and there... I hope he'll upload some one day, they are REALLY good! He is getting good at taking photos.... Not fair though, says I, and snapped a few shots of the photographer! X-D
Snapping shots at the little coffee shop:

True love, I tell ya'! *lol* When I showed him the photo on the camera all I got was: "What? You weren't supposed to take a photo until I pulled my finger down?!" X-D We are such crazy nerds I tell you!
Anyway, we had a lovely day! And before we left mom's, even my aunt and her hubby showed up on their Harley Davidson! It is summer and they were just out for a joyride and visited mom on the way. :-D Awesome!
So that was a great day!
Sunday I went to visit
spicehobbit. Had to really, since I won't be able to in quite a long time! *gasp* She is on her way to the UK! For four weeks no less! :-D She is going to a language school traveling with Blueberry Education. :-) I hope she'll have an awesome time! In fact, I am sure she will since she has this crazy love for anything and everything coming from the UK! X-D We just did what we usually do. Talk shit and stuff, just hanging out and being best friends... and nerds... the way we do best. *lol* We also came to the conclusion we NEED THIS IN OUR LIVES! Even if none of us are very girly, we still do!
I hope Ugglefot (aka @Owlfoot) and
_devilcandy_ paid attention there!!! I am seriously considering buying this shit... DAMMIT! ANYWAY!
Today me and
peting73 cleaned out our bookshelf in preparation of getting up new wallpapers. I mean, we had to move the book shelfs, and to do that... you have to get all the books out. And we have A LOT of books. Not kidding. So we decided to clear out all the books we didn't want or didn't like. And we did. HOLY SHIT! The whole bed was full of books that we didn't want or didn't like. Not kidding. Both me and
peting73 cleared out a shit ton of books. I have mostly fantasy books and biographies, while he has mostly books about WWII, the cold war and science fiction... One goldie I found far back among
peting73s books was a Star Wars book from 1977, a retelling of the original movie... AWESOME! Ehm.... Yes, we are nerds, why do you ask? *lol* ANYWAY, we kept said book among many others (I have a shit ton of strange comics and graphic novels, for example) and the rest we divided up in three piles. One pile to throw away, one pile to sell to a second-hand bookshop and one pile to bookcross! :-)
The books to throw away I threw away today already. I hate throwing away books, but I steeled myself and did it. The sell-pile I'll drag downtown this week someday.... And I have already started to bookcross from the bookcrossing pile. It is A LOT of books in that pile to, let me tell you.
So today I bookcrossed three books, while I was off grocery shopping.

This one, Watch you bleed - the saga of Guns'N'Roses (Called Welcome to the Jungle in swedish translation) I put on a bench right outside the checkout... :-)

This one, Edward Finnigans upprättelse (a classic swedish crime novel) I put right by the entrence on a bench. Funny thing, when I was waling away from it, a young woman ran after me telling me I forgot something. Coming with her back, I explained to her about bookcrossing and that she was free to take the book if she wanted to... Not sure if she did, but she did sound interested. :-)

Last one I put right on the shopping cars by the back entrance. (There are two entrances at this store.) Book called Skynda, kom och se! (a drama book, I'd say). Perfect. And during this evening I got a message telling me this book has been picked up and will go on a trip to Turkey! WOO! So cool! :-D
So I'd say my bookcrossing adventures were of the good today! :-D I'd suggest anyone to check out bookcrossing. It is so much fun! *points to banner below*
