This is KSena

Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

This day has been quite lovely, indeed. :-) We took a walk at the zoo today, and made a deal together to take at least a one hour walk each day, me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73. A good deal. I doubt it will be something we can do together, since [livejournal.com profile] peting73 wants to do it before breakfast, and I wanna do it after breakfast. X-D I kinda need my breakfast, thank you very much. ;-) He prefers to relax with his breakfast after he has done his exercise as it were. We'll see if we can figure out a solution in the morning. ;-)

Not done with the royal wedding just yet, though. :-D I have three clips from the wedding right here on YouTube (that was quick...). And I figured I'd share it with anyone else that might be curious or have missed it.

This is a clip showing highlights from the wedding ceremony. The commentary is in swedish, and they say there Yes in swedish to, of course. :-) And the groom wipes a tear.... It is all so very, very cute! And you can see how there love shines! They look wonderful together. :-) And yes, the bridal crown she wears is from the Royal Treasury and is the same crown her mother, the Queen wore when she got married to our current King. It was original created on the order of Napoleon to his beloved Josephine, and through historic circumstances ended up in Sweden. (The first king of the Bernadotte line was originally a Marshal of France under Napoleon, Jean-Baptiste Bernadotte who later changed his name to Charles XIV Johan, to have his name sound more swedish as it were.)

The ABBA-boys, Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson, wrote a song for her wedding to. :-) So gorgeous! It's title should tell you what it is about... "Resting blissfully in your arms"... Gorgeous, yes? :-)

And then this song was sung in the church to. And this one is in english! So everyone can enjoy it! :-D Björn Skifs and Anges Carlsson sang it with so so much feeling. I loved it. And I suspect this one and the previous will be sung at many weddings all over Sweden in the future... :-)

I just noticed this to... Someone has been insane enough to post the ENTIRE WEDDING on YouTube! That means ALL FOUR DAYS! o.O Wow, I say... Just wow... Anyway, if you really, really wanna see the whole thing, you can start here and then you can find part 2, part 3 and so on at the left side of the vid. :-)

Royal Wedding in Sweden Part 1

I'll try to shut up about the wedding now. :-P Promise!

I am not a girly girl by any means, but I do love our royal family! :-D I really, really do. I think they are awesome, and do there job of representing Sweden really really well. :-)

Someone of the reporters said there never had been that much royalty in Stockholm before in history! Not even when our current King got married! And a ton of tourists have followed in the weddings wake, so even if it cost a ton (and since the Kings money comes from us tax-payers, we basically payed the whole thing...), in the end, Sweden will benefit from this. :-)

Not sure if I can find much else now, but if I do, I'll keep you posted. ;-)

I didn´t watch much of it, just wanted to see the dress and jewellry and all that. But I agree, she was very beautiful. :-)

I know I haven´t acted like it this last week, but I´m a royalist too. It´s just... too much of it...

Very beautiful and very happy. :-) There was no mistake that they were very much in love. :-)

*grin* Since I don't spend that much time in front of the TV, mostly in front of the computer, I guess I missed the most of the royal stuff on TV this month. *grin*

It was so awesome to see! That there was love involved was definitly clear! Long live modern times where Princesses can marry out of love! *cheers*

And you know... I happen to know how long that train was... ;-) It was 5 meters long (16.4 feet long)... And the wedding cake they later ate was 3.3 meters high (10.8 feet high).... And the veil she had was from the end of the 1800s made for another Queen as it were... Her mother, our current Queen used it as well. Oh, and the tiara thing there? Well... as I said. It was created to Josephine on the orders of Napoleon.... Ah... History! :-D

That things end up at YouTube quickly have ceased to amase me. No really. People on that site are insane. To get it can't have been that hard, since it was aired live the entire day on Swedish TV. :-)

That's true- I frogot about that. I was imagining some creeper hiding in the bushes (I wouldn't be surprised if that shows up in a couple days though)

Thats true. There is always a risk for creepers, sadly. They might get a hard time getting close though, since our royal family is very very well guarded by the best security Sweden has to offer. ;-)
