I had this really long post planned out. I really did. But then I just... didn't know how to start. Or how to end.

I just have one thing to say. PLEASE! I know there are readers here who have been abused one way or another. I BEG of you to go read these two posts by stony321. Every. Single. Word. I could never say it as well, no matter how hard I try.

I am down on my knees here, people. I beg you... go read it.

I have spent most of the morning (off and on at work, you know) reading this (http://harmonyfb.livejournal.com/877252.html) post and being pretty much ill. And to have her opinion thrown out there as being a belief of Paganism is just more poison. The sad thing is that with ALL this discussion, and omg, it's everywhere not one person who is defending (explicitly or in such a roundabout way as harmonyfb ) this woman, will ever change their opinion on it. (And likewise, of course, but I fall on stoney321's side on this, so.)

Yeah, just... no. Hellz to the noes. But! I respect her right to her opinion. I am not getting involved in the fight at all. That is not the reason why I posted these links. I have a few people on my f-list that has had.... a rough time to say the least. I figured they could encourge them some what.

Oh, I have no idea what the fight was that prompted Stony to post these... I don't care, to be honest. That was not the reason why I posted them. I just felt that they were important, you know? To point that out again, and again, that it is NEVER EVER the victims fault. :-P And Stony wrote that so damn well. :-)

*nod nod* I'm not actually involved in the fandom where this all originally started either. I sort of tripped over it because of a mention by someone else on my flist, and got curious. But that was before the worst of it broke out, and as I was following links trying to figure out just what exactly had happened, that's when I started hitting so much victim blaming. Some of it was absolutely horrific. Like stomach-churning terrible, especially since I've been in the position of being blamed for being abused. So it was really nice to see Stoney's post.

I don't even know what fandom it is. *chuckles* I am glad I missed it then, if it was that horrible. How people can even think....? Insanity, is all I say. :-P

And hey, I am all for speaking up and all, and I never shut my mouth for sure.... But that don't mean everyone is like that. And I am very well aware of that. :-P
