Cake-photos! And Bookcrossing!

What with all the drama this saturday I forgot to say how much fun I had before the vamp-LARP. :-D I had a PartyLite party at home before going down to the LARP. We were supposed to be six or seven people, but since so many canceled it was just me, mom and spicehobbit there. Oh, and my friend that sells the stuff. :-) That didn't matter though, we had a great time! All of us are quite addicted to those candles, so... Yeah. *grin* Some shopping was done.

And then there was time for coffee and cakes... I had done some experimenting in the kitchen, something I love to do, especially when it comes to cakes and cookies. And I promised you photos, didn't I? Prepare to drool... I can promise you... these cakes were bloody delicious... (You can click all photos to make them bigger.)

The Ambrosia-cake. Had a lot of almond icing in it and on top a glaze based on powder sugar.


The Passionfruit-cake. You think it looks sticky? It was. X-D It was drenched in a syrup made of passionfruits and sugar, not to mention there was passionfruits in the cake mixture as well. And was so bloody awesome!


And lastly, the Bake-Wednesday-Cut-Thursday-Cake. X-D Long name on one of the most delicious cakes around. OMG it was so good! Orgasmic almost! So much chocolaty goodness....


So that was a definite success! Mom stayed a bit and helped me clean up after this little cake and candle party. ;-) We talked a lot and hung around a lot to, of course. I mean, spicehobbit has known my mom as long as she has known me. ;-) Then mom gave us a ride down-town so spicehobbit could go late-night grocery-shopping and I could go to the vamp-LARP. :-) All in all, a lot of fun!

I haven't done any Bookcrossing in quite long, so the other day, I did. :-D One book I gave to spicehobbit when running into her, so she can release it at the local hospital here in town. Someone is sure to need a book there, right? And I also released a book at a bus-stop. :-) Hopefully someone will find them and enjoy them!



Still not 100% though. Upset and... well. Yeah. :-/ I am trying though! I really, really am. :-P Thanx gawds I have peting73, that is all.

I commented on something you said at another journal, ended up reading your profile, and soon realised that as a fellow nerd and Twilight hater, I should probably friend you. :D Besides, I don't have enough Swedish LJ friends – and one needs to have Swedish friends, right? (Speciellt om man råkar studera svenska som huvudämne vid ett finskt universitet som jag gör. Det betyder dock inte det att jag skulle kunna tala eller skriva svenska, men det spelar väl ingen så stor roll. :P)

Oh good grief, yes... It was so nom-licious you have no fucking idea.... It practicly melted in your moth. So, so good.... And, I'd say your pretty good in both english and swedish actually. :-) I have friended you back. You seem nice enough to me. :-D

Also, what the hell people think is so awesome with Twilight, I'll never know. I have read the entire series (only have the 'leaked' Midnight Sun left.... Leaked my ass, btw....). And it is so full of fail, I don't even know where to start...
