Happy Halloween, people!

I really hope you have had a wonderful Halloween, all those lucky people that really, REALLY celebrate it. Not much celebrating here, sadly. :-P

I was however dressed up at work... Yeah. They had this contest today for best costume and all that jazz... I took what is easiest for me, and dressed up as my LARP-character Rose Valentine. I got a lot of cudos for my neat costume, though. :-) That felt great! All the shouts that I looked great felt a bit odd though. It is not like I try to look good when I put on vamp-makeup... Ehm. :-P It was fun however, so... :-)



Why does this give me a scary thought about telemarketing companies? :-P (I see now some makeup has fallen of the nose... But I had a cold, dammit!)


What amused me the most is that one of the persons that I really, REALLY dislike at work.... Dressed up as a witch. Oddly fitting. X-D I don't know if I won best costume though, since I had a short day today, and left before the prizes was handed out. I didn't mind though. Leaving work early is always nice. ;-)

We were going to a birthday party in the afternoon and we missed one part of the gift, so I had to get that before I came home. In the middle of the day... In full vamp-makeup... Yeah, I did get some odd lucks, but it was just fun. I never mind getting odd lucks nowadays. :-)

Birthday party was fun! Peting's uncle had his birthday today. Great bunch of guests, among them his mother, who is a fountain of stories of the old days... We discussed things from 1850 and onwards... Was a blast! Old people can be a lot of fun to. Just saying. :-)

So it is has been a busy Halloween, but only with good stuff, so I am happy. :-)

:D We have a great time. We were suppose to end it last year because godson got married and bought his own house but we all took a vote and kept it going one more year. One of the guys climbed on the roof and acted like a corpse then when the kids entered the yard he would scream. My favorite was a kid about 15 who was a little too old to be trick or treating. We all waited in position not moving and he walked into the middle of the grave yard going for the steps.As he passed my godson he turned on the toy chainsaw the kid jumped toward the coffin which another guy done up as a vamp jumped out of yelling blood I must have blood.The kid just lost it and high jumped over 6 tombstones on his way to the street. He stood there for a minute and finally came back to get candy but it was way too funny.
