This is KSena

Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

Time for another update I think. :-) This weekend was... nice, odd and... a bit depressing. Lets see if I can get it all together.

We visited my mom this weekend, which was nice. Although, I constantly worry about her. She is doing great with the Cambridge diet though! Totally lost 13 kilos! And she needs to to. Anyway, this weekend it was a barn dance at my mom's neighbors and we came there to. Near to everyone from around the countryside were my mom lives came there to. It was fun to see people I hardly recognized from my childhood all grown up. My brother was there to, of course being all crazy with his friends telling the most insane stories (that are probably all true...) etc. So a good time was had by all.

Except for one thing. You know when you are slightly or very drunk, sometimes you say things you didn't mean to say. And I think my brother did that nigth. Ever since my father died all those years ago (5? 6 years, something like that...), his ghost has rested heavily on my brothers shoulders. When my father lived he helped near to everyone in our family when something needed fixing. He liked it, he was good at it and it was sorta a hobby of his. My brother got that skill to. And now... He takes on to much. His confession that night showed me crystal clear how much he still mourns our father and that he just can't say no when someone asks him to help them. Leaving him way way overworked. Yeah, I am very worried about him. At the same time I am having a guilty conscience about not living at home with mom or nearer to her, and helping people like my brother does. But I just don't have the skill! *frustrated* And know I don't know what to do... :-P
I have talked about it with my brother the day after, when he was sober. Nothing. *sigh* Bah! *grrr*

Sorry about going all emo. :-P

Oh, and [livejournal.com profile] peting73 brought his new snazzy camera that weekend taking some really cool pictures! You can see them HERE. No matter how much I sometimes am annoyed with the house I grew up in, it is a very pretty house, ain't it? :-) He also have tried out his skill with the GIMP. I think he is doing well, wouldn't you agree? Who knew there was an artist inside that engineer I am living with... :-)

Rest off week has gone off with out a hitch. I am telling you, I am most at peace when I am home and can do what I wish, when I wish it. :-P Cats are being nutzy as usual. And I am way behind on reading up on my communities as usal. He! No wonder. :-P But soon, SOON! My vacation starts... Four weeks of FREEEEDOM!!!! Woot! I am so needing that. So next week we are going on a small trip, me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73 first to the city Kalmar (to check out the castle there and other things... might even take a day trip to Öland) and then we are going to Västervik (were we probably just gonna laze about...). It is going to be wonderful. :-) Me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73 has been a couple since 2003, and we haven't had a trip together yet... :-P It is high time, says I. :-)

The rest of my vacation is gonna be spent cleaning out our book-cases (not looking forward to that...) and laze about and play World of Warcraft and surf LJ. I am not going to do anything serious at all. I have no plans whatsoever...

Tomorrow after work we are going to visit my cousin who has her 20th birthday. It is going to be a blast, I am sure of it. Such a great woman she has turned out to be! Funny thing is, she got work within the same hotel concern as me! *laughs* So now we both work for Scandic. Wonder if that is good or bad... *grin* Anyway, bought her expensive and pretty gifts, I did. *nod* She deserves it. :-)

Fun thing in World of Warcraft nowadays what with the Olympics and all going on. When you play you can now collect a little dragon if you are good at fighting in Battlegrounds. You have to win one, to get a chance to get a small red Chinese looking dragon that follows you around. It is so cute! Of course the ever so fierce gnome warrioress Caina Knuckleduster got one now... You also got a tabard that your character can have on with the Olympic rings on. So, so cute! This weekend, I am getting it for my tauren Huntress Skyfire to! Then we'll see how many more I have the patience to collect. :-)

Oh, and [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit! Look what I found surfing around today! A Ugly Betty mood theme! Something for you, eh? ;-D (You can see how to add it HERE, best guide I have found! Time-consuming, but not that hard.) And [livejournal.com profile] ruchirahni? I lost your email. I got three Xena-mood themes here, and I know you want them.

As you can see my mood-swings have rivaled most these last days. I am busy hanging on for the ride! *phew* I hope my vacation will be calm and silly. I need that. :-P

No, don´t feel guilty about the whole thing with your family. I know it´s easy to say, but you really shouldn´t. We all have different skills, you know. Some are practical, like your brother, others are good with people, like you. *hugs KSeenaa* If you need to talk; just call me!

Ugly Betty mood theme? *checks* Cute! And there was a Grey´s Anatomy mood theme too. Several in fact. Cool! I´ll think about using one of them. At least until I find a Sweeney Todd one... :-D

Oh, and I hope you and P. will have a wonderful vacation together. You have both earnt it!

Well, he is extremly practical. And he likes what he does, so that is all good. He just can't say no, thats the trouble. :-P Since, ya' know, even if you want to you can't help everyone. :-P And thanx. :-) *hugs back*

Oh, and [livejournal.com profile] mood_mania is a very very nice community. ;-) You should check out there memories (http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=mood_mania)... I swear, you can find a mood-theme for ANYTHING there. ;-D I found my Marilyn Monroe theme there. :-)

Hey! That travel plan sounds awful close to where I'm at... Drop in for a fika and a chat if you can! (Just gimme a call before you do, so I can do the dishes and hide the mess... *grins*)

And I'm seconding [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbits don't feel guilty. You can't do everything and make everyone happy. You're already doing a better job of it than most people I know. *hugs*

Well, you had a problem with a tag there... ;-) *points* That only shows what a nerd I am, that I could pick that out right away... You can't have any - in a LJ-name-tag.

Anyway. Thank you so very, VERY much for your sweet words. Between you and [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit I feel better already. *hugs*

We'll see about the travel-plans. We have no set plans at all, really. Just what cities to go to, and what hotels to stay at. :-) But I do have your phone-number! ;-)

It's the damn hyphen, yes... I can never remember if it's supposed to be there or not, so I rely on the preview to get it right. Obviously *not* fool-proof.

Just gimme a call, I'll probably be home. Unless I suddenly have to work (being a temp sucks...) or something else is afoot. Grandpa is in the hospital (again) and this time it seems to be serious, so everything is kinda messy around here right now. So one more thing that may or may not happen is no big thing... And seeing some nice people like you is always a treat. *hugs*

So sorry to hear about your grandpa. :-P I am glad we managed to put a smile on your face during our short visit though. :-) That was very nice. As was the spongecake! Yum!
