LARP, runny nose and friends....

Ugh... I am coming down with a cold. On my last week on my trainee work. Fuck. Not good. Not good at all. I don't wanna end it with being sick, dammit. *sigh*

Anyway, the weekend was great! :-D The vampire-LARP was so fun this Saturday I forgot about the time, and didn't notice how late it was until around 5am Sunday morning... o.O peting73 wasn't at the LARP this time. He has done so much extra-time at his work, he just didn't have the energy.

Rose got to be center-stage this LARP. One of the GM's played a really weird character called The Traveler, who was nothing like vampires, ghosts or humans or anything at all... None of the characters there could figure him out. Anyway, he was there to look for something Evil, as he put it. Talking to Rose though, he suddenly stares at her and tells her it is inside her. True. A year or so ago at another LARP Rose ended up at the hands off a magician who put an evil being within her. The memory was erased from her though, so she was beyond confused the entire LARP. Anyway to make a long story short, it ended up with a painful exorcism, leaving Rose weakened and hurt. And the being materialized himself as a huge spider that was promptly killed by the rest of the vampires there. Interesting times... And now, when the evil spider-being is not within her anymore. She remembers who the magician is... A magician who claims to be able to bring her lover back to life... The plot thickens... *grin*

After the LARP I acted as a taxi-driver driving quite a few people home. And J (hubby of Ugglefot) lacked a place to sleep that night (they live in the neighboring city Gothenburg), so I had fixed up my sofa-bed for him. Last time I checked the watch before collapsing the time was 7AM Sunday morning... *laugh*

J had warned me that he slept long in the mornings... He wasn't kidding. He didn't wake up until 4:30PM... *grin* Then after eating and talking and stuff we checked the buses and trains for him on the net, but they didn't make much sense, so we drove him home. One hour single trip. We got a lovely sponge cake from Ugglefot though, and got some really awesome discussions about how things are in the board of the LARP. Made me feel better about all the stuff I do, at any rate.

It ended up with us coming home at 11:30PM.... :-P Without any chance to make dinner... Ha ha ha!!! X-D Good thing we had a sturdy egg and bacon breakfast at around 1PM. ;-)

That day just disappeared. The insanity.

Today has been a good day at both libraries. Although... I felt when the day went on that... yes. I am coming down with a cold. Fuck, fuckity fuck fuck... It really sucks donkey balls, since this week is my last week as a trainee... I really don't wanna be sick then, I mean.... How embarrassing would that be, eh? *sigh* But as things are feeling right now? I really don't know... :-P My nose is totally stuffed, as is my ears and my eyes feel funny... So yeah. Not to great. And tomorrow? Is my loooong day. 8AM - 5:15PM. With a birthday party to go to right after.... Oh, tomorrow is not going to be a great day at all. I am so not looking forward to it. :-/
