W00T! It just took a few months, but now today, I have learnt a trick to get to access LJ from work. Thank gawd! This will surely save my sanity. :-) Other then that it is same old same old here. Not much else is happening, really. Found out the other day that I am going to get kidnapped no less by my friends... They just wanted to make sure I could make it. *grin* Planned kidnapping. Thats a new one. Oh, and
skarvsladden? Don't tell me you are just going to talk for a short time, because really... You can't. Your so cute. *grin* Sure kept me smiling there. Missed talking to likeminded people, did you? ;-D *hug*
Progress on the homefront, MrP had done a serious cleaning out of our closet. It was badly needed. Only now I have to go through all my clothes, putting stuff away for mom to give to charity. It feels quite good to get rid of stuff that just takes up space and I just don't use.
In WoW I have given up on my tauren girl. I just don't play her for fun any more but as on obligation. That is just not what one should do in a game. You should play to have fun. So now I have switched sides and play my gnome. Should I get a hankering for Horde again, I mean... The character will still be there, it is not as I will delete her. So. :-) At the moment, me be gnome-girl!
And when I am not playing WoW, I play around on LJ. Got a confession to. I do have locked posts here in this LJ. But only one, where I collect links that I wanna share. When the post is getting big, I edit the post and then unlock it. Like I have with this. :-) Enjoy the link-spam. I hope you take a little time to go through them. It is not a bad collection! ;-)
Massive pimping for Pirates of the Caribbean:
A wonderful story about Will Turner and Elisabeth, set after the events of At Worlds End, but before the easteregg in said movie. So... MASSIVE SPOILERS HERE! If you have seen the movie though, be prepared for a very, very sweet story... Snagged from the community

Ten Years...
Also a wonderful story about Will Turner and Elisabeth (my new favorite pairing, I think...) showing just how much Will has changed during these films... Yum! No wonder I didn't like him in the first, but love him in the third. ;-) MASSIVE SPOILERS in this one to, since it is set after At Worlds End and also after the easteregg in said movie...
The husband of the King...
This one has alot in common with the first story I pimped here. It has the same name, to start. But this one has another take on the same period, and I really, really love how this one is written to. The writer (same as to Husband to a King) is really good at "getting in to the head" of the characters, me thinks. MASSIVE SPOILERS since this as well is set after the events in At Worlds End and partly after the easteregg in said movie to. I find this to be especially touching, actually.
Ten Long Years.....
Massive pimping for good World of Warcraft links (enjoyable for all, even those who don't play...) ;-)
Probably the best article of them all. Yes. It is posted in the officiell forums. But it is quite clear this guy is no fool who have written this. The language in the article alone shows this. It is about a recovering WoW-addict... And the scary thing is, much of the points he makes about the WoW-community, you can easily apply on the LJ-community.... Just saying. Read it. It is long, but damn well worth your time. (Link go to the official WoW-forums.)
For all who feel empty after quiting WoW...
This is soooo silly. And really, as serious as WWII, one must laugh a little sometimes. And this made me laugh. OK. So I am a nerd. I admit it. ;-)
WWII as a World of Warcraft Raid...
As it is probably commonly known, World of Warcraft players can be a bit silly sometimes, saying quite cruel things in chatt to each other, taking items from one another and more or less acting quite self-centered threating the game as a race to always have the best stuff. This guy however did something absolutly wonderful, that you don't see everyday in the game. (Links go to the official WoW-forums.)
A sweet thing to do...
This sounded like fun, posted in the community
wow_ladies. RP with your WoW-characters! But... Then I need a journal just for my charcters... Should I? Shouldn't I? Am I nerdy enough??? Oh, the temptation...
A bar with an elf, a dwarf... and an orc, a tauren... WoW-RP! The temptation!
Link about the LJ-kerfuffle... :-/
About the big kerfuffle on LJ I found this post, or should I say open letter to LJ. Many points are valid that are made in this post. And the best part is that it is actually quite maturly written, unlike alot of other things about the Kefuffle I have read. I do recommend looking at it at least.
Open Letter to LJ/6A.
And lastly...
Any Neil Gaiman fans out there? At long last, Stardust is made into a movie. Rejoice! :-D

Also, why do I find this to be hard to believe? *points downwards* Dang you
