Midsummer Eve came and went...

It was fun. I had my folk lore costume on all day long. Even worked in it, which my workmates thought was really cool. I worked until 8pm then I left for the little party that MrP and his best friend always organize each year. It was fun, cozy and lots of good food. I and another girl were the only once sober, me because I wanted to and she since she just got pregnent. I usually have more fun sober on that party driving people here and there not to mention home when they wanna sleep it off. ;-) Same this year, people were drunk and cute, we played games and ate lots and lots of great food.
Until around 1am.... When we noted that one of the guests had taken his car and driven off. Drunk. Not so very good. Only one that had his phone-number called him and gave him a good piece of everyones mind, telling him to stop and we who were sober would come get him, and drive him to wherever he wanted to go. We found out his mother had hurt herself and he was driving to the hospital where she was. A drive taking 1 ½ hours... Me and the rest of the people there decided the call the cops on him. I mean, he wasn't just risking his own life but everyone else on the road. One of the other girls there got really, really upset since one of her friends had gotten killed by a drunken driver... Naturally, whenever there is anything that needs talking to and about, I got the work to call the cops. I did, and got to a really nice officer to. But since we didn't know all of his name or the registration-number of the car, we could just warn the cops about the drunken driver and on what road he was. If the friend that had more information about him had been a bit more cooporative we could have given the cops more info, but alas... He thought it was fine he driving since he was going to the hospital to get his mom, and "there is no heavy traffic tonight".... No, it might not have been, but alot of families is out walking during the evning/night on Midsummer Eve.... I still don't know how it ended, if the cops got him, or if he got into an accident or if he made it to the hospital alright... Me, I hope the cops got him. That would teach him a lesson.

On other news, you might have noticed I am slowly working my way through my friends again, returning to LJ. I could never really leave LJ, me thinks. In December I am celebrating 5 years on LJ.... *mind boggles* Scary. I am even considring buying a perment account. They are for sale right now, until 28th of June.... We'll see.

I hope all Swedish and Scandinavian people had a grand Midsummer Eve, and to all else. Take care! :-)

Glad midsomamr to you too! ^_^ Sad to hear about your stupid friend, though. ;_; People can be so daft then they are drunk.

Oh yes. Very daft indeed. :-P He had been fine seconds before, and then he just dissapered. What really bugs me is that I stayed sober for things like that NOT to happen, and because I wanted to. It just bugs me. :-(

It wasn't your fault, but I really understand you. *hugs*
