This is KSena

Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

Back to business as usual. :-) Valentines was spent discussing politics in the car to mom (damn I have one smart man!) and then eating way to much food at moms (she is way to good at making nice food). Didn't get any gifts from [livejournal.com profile] peting73, but that is fine, really, since we decided to go visit mom instead. A gift in and off itself, that. (Even though they like each other very well to, and work together to tease me...)

Day after Valentines, Sunday, we went to my aunts since my cousin had her 23d birthday! o.O Dammit, I am old. :-P (And more unhealthy food...) Was awesome! Meet my brother which is always great. The insanest farm-hand there is! X-D I love him though, the goof-ball that he is. His fiancée was really heavy now! 8 months pregnant. I asked her if she had any guess to what she carries. She thought it was a girl in there... Me, I am hoping for a boy! Since me, being a big sis with a little brother you know, I'd say it would be awesome if they kept with tradition! :-D Was also fun to meet little Tilda, my brothers daughter. Natural center of attention of the party. She is so CUUUTE! I can't believe my brother actually managed to do something right... X-D

Mom got books about LowCarbHighFat food for Christmas (she had them on her wish list!), and is slowly reading them through and slowly changing her diet. Problem is, she is such a traditionalist when it comes to food, it might take time. And she really needs to lose weight....

Good news with mom though, she got some work hours at an old folks home in another city not far from where she lives, and the big hospital where her sister works have called and talked to her to, showing interest. So, she sure is working hard on getting a new job! She sends between five and ten applications a week now! And since she can't stand computers, it is all handwritten. :-) I am so proud of her!

On Sunday night when we drove home, we discussed Student Union politics. We haven't been involved with the Student Union for YEARS! And still we can't let go 100%. Still we discuss what we could have done differently... what went wrong... etc, etc and on and on... And yes, I have a very smart man... :-P

Today we saw on the site where we have communities and news for our LARP, that the GMs needed one more GM to work with them, and asked the players (us) if anyone was interested. (We had 4, but one is needing a break at the moment, so three... to take care of over 40 players...) So, they needed one more. [livejournal.com profile] peting73 has been playing regular pen-paper-rpgs since he was a kid, and been a GM in those for years and years to.... So, he sent an application to the other GM's. Gonna be exciting to see if he'll be one to! :-D

Gorgeous flowers...
At least to those that celebrates it. :-) It is around 2:30am at the moment, so it is officially Valentines now. We won't celebrate it much me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73. We're going to visit mom over the weekend, so a long drive it is. But we have no specific times that we need keep, so we might just sleep most of the day away. :-)

Yesterday [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit was here. Was awesome! We shared a bottle of wine and watched almost half of the first season of Tudors! That series continue to impresse me. Sure, it ain't historically correct (at all!), but thats not the point. They have managed to capture the feel of the era. And that is pretty impressive in and off itself. :-) (My only beef with the series is that Henry VIII should have been bigger and beefier....) So that was an awesome evening! We are going to do it again next week, or so is the plan. With or without wine...

Today has been a fairly busy day, despite the fact I was off from work. Got a massage in the morning that was just awesome. My back is a bit achy, but all in the good way. Then, I got home, and discovered that the laundry-room was available, so did the laundry to... And tonight, there was Lets Dance! on TV (I love that show) and ironing done as well... So yeah, busy. :-P Read up on my flist to. And on the RPG I am in as well. After all laundry-runnings and fixings, I was so beat, I just sat and watched my Xena-DVDs...

Oh, talking off! They arrived! The Complete Collection I bought from E-Bay, including the 10th Anniversary Collection has arrived!!! And it was all in PERFECT condition! I shit you not. Mint-condition even. It still had the plastic wrapping. So awesome... I have so much extras to watch I am drowning in it.... *happy sigh* Will take time to go trough these boxes, thats for sure....

So, I watched 4 episodes today. First season is so, so cheesy, I love it! X-D If I had started watching Xena during the first season, I am not sure I had become a fan. The rest of the seasons are so, so much better. :-)

Anyway, I am silly tired but not sleepy, so I am rambling. :-P I hope you all have an awesome day tomorrow!!! (Or today... Ehm...) I sure will. :-)

Me and Peting Disney-style...
Well, I got a suprise when getting home from work today. AND at work!

Got a rose from our group-boss today. Was sweet. Everyone at our department got a rose from there group-bosses. It was very nice and thoughtful, considering how not so fun it has been at work lately. Had a meeting with my group-boss to. And even though I suck at some things, like having to long calls (gotta stop chatting with the guests on the phone, dammit...), I do rock in other parts. As he says, I have so long calls, since I am helping the guests to much at times, doing things I shouldn't do. Instead, I should transfer the guest/call to the right person. Will have to remember that from now on. Shorter calls = more cash.

And that sneaky thing Peting has planned? It was just a small thing, but it was very sweet and nice since he never does anything romantic really. He went and got me a GORGEOUS white orchid! I have never cared for an orchid before, but I'll make damm sure I'll take good care of this one. Gotta call mom and ask her how. She is really good at flowers. He bought two flowers for the cats to. Yeah, they are weird. They eat my flowers. Only one of them, but it is nothing left of it, so he went and bought two new flowers for them, the same kind. :-) Very sweet of him!

I always tease Peting about him not buying me any flowers. We have been together since 2003, and I have gotten ONE buquette of roses during that time. One. It was so like him to. He got the key to my apartment at the time, so he bought those really big dark red roses that I like, put them in.... an empty big Coke-bottle and left them on my table to find. That was around 2004. I guess I'll have to wait another four years before I get another flower. :-D He winked at me today saying I couldn't complain about not getting any flowers anymore. Just like him. I do so love my man. :-D

Some images of the orchid I got. The first picture turned out better then I thought!
