This is KSena

Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

Crap. I wanted to watch Pillars of the Earth as it airs on swedish television, but I missed the first part. No big deal, says you, but hey... Swedish television airs two parts at a time. Bah. :-/ Oh well, I'll watch part 3-4 tonight. Maybe I can follow on in the story anyway, who knows? If nothing else, I am sure [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit can fill me in. She loves those books. :-P (She just told me you could by the thing on DVD... Tempting...)

Have also come to the conclusion I need to buy Windows 7 or a new Windows Vista... Since my Vista is about to give up. :-/ Not amused, people. Apparently a file has given up in the computer and hence, Vista can't update itself. And since it was installed when ordering the computer, I don't have the disk. Oh, how fun... :-P Not.

It is happening a lot with my character at the vampire-LARP to (via emails and communities)... Mostly political stuff, but fun as well! Will probably affect a lot of things during the LARP on Saturday. :-) I am really looking forward to that. :-D

Haven't done much today. It is a holiday here in Sweden today, so was off work. Just been lazy. :-) Has been quite nice, actually! Fiddled around a little with Second Life. Hasn't been logged in for a long, long time. Created another account with a male character. Lets explore that gay boy I have inside, eh? ;-) Doing my damdest to gay him up! *laugh* I'll post screen shots later. ;-)

Now I'll go off and watch Pillars of the Earth 3-4. So I missed half the thing... So what! I'll watch it anyway. :-P

Itsy bitsy spider
Can someone tell me how the hell a freaking KINK-MEME* can put me in a bad mood? I am just asking. Always the same pairing. I mean, seriously... *head-desk* THERE ARE OTHER MEMBERS IN THAT BAND, PEOPLE, WTH? Yes, I am talking about Tokio Hotel. Shut up. I am allowed to. This is my LJ. :-P And it is starting to annoy the hell out of me that everyone is all about the twins here and the twins that. Yes, I like the Kaulitz twins to. I do. But I'd like to hear about Gustav and Georg to and read about them, thank you. They are a member of the band to, if you forgot... *grumble, grumble*

And talking about annoying things in fandom. My dear, darling Spike fans and Angel fans and Buffy fans. All pairings are alright. Don't go all overboard about that damn comic, please. Yes, I don't have to read it. Yes, I do skip posts about it. Yes, your allowed to post about it in your LJ. It is your LJ. But right now it feels like the whole fandom needs to take a chill-pill about those freaking comics. Joss Whedon ain't God, people... Even if he sometimes thinks he is. :-P

And now when I have properly pissed off half my LJ friends-list...

Poked around some more in Second Life today. Damn, that thing is addictive! o.O Pimping up my lil'character more and more. You can do that quite nicely with freebies from different stores. Usually clothes and other bling cost the ingame cash Linden Dollars. But most cool stores have neat little freebies, like... "Sit in the chair in this room in our store for 45mins and you'll get this outfit for free!" No problem. I just put my little avatar-girl in said chair. And then I read fanfics for 45mins until there is a Ding! from the game, and hey! I got a new outfit! *laugh* And many stores had a lot of freebies for free to, without you having to do anything. Some I bought for my little avatar with the ingame cash. I did get some Linden Dollars from J and Ugglefot as a welcome gift to the game. My little avatar even has tattoos now! I even found a Bill Kaulitz-tattoo, so now she has a star on her hip! *laugh* And those black nails with white tips! I am such a nerd... X-D

So, despite fandom annoyance it has been a good day today. :-) Worked for three hours at the library, but thats about it. Have been a nerd for most of the day. :-)

Wicked witch of Halloween
This has been one lazy day. One GOOD lazy day. :-D I tried to keep it secret and all, but [livejournal.com profile] peting73 figured it out anyway. Apparently I am not good at keeping secrets... *grins* Kiltfan, [livejournal.com profile] peting73s best friend, and his family came over to visit today. We haven't meet them in quite some time since they moved quite a bit north from here. (Takes around 8-9 hours to drive there...) Kiltfan called a couple of days ago to [livejournal.com profile] peting73s mobile-phone, but since he was at the gym he'd left it here. :-) So I answered and Kiltfan and me decided not to tell [livejournal.com profile] peting73. ;-) Keep it a surprise. And I managed to. Until this morning... *lol* They were to arrive at 10, and well... I had to get [livejournal.com profile] peting73 out of bed. X-D I just told him it was a good idea to get up and not eat to big a breakfast.... That made him ask who is coming over, at which point I said Oh no one... And he figured it out from that. I fail! X-D Either that or he is to clever for his own good. *laugh* So that was awesome.

After that, we took it easy at our computers until dinner. Then I ironed some of the clothes I have in a pile. All the clothes in that pile needs ironing... It was a HUGE pile. At least it is a bit smaller now. I watched the DVD with the musical Chess on it that I'd borrowed from [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit, the swedish version even. It was brilliant! Only the ending didn't make sense to me... Gotta ask her about that one of these days. And my favorite song from the musical wasn't in it! WHAT! Fail. :-P I wonder if she has more versions of it... I bet she does. She is such a musical-nerd! *laughs*

Then I went back to my computer and turned on Second Life for a bit. It is really pretty, I must say. :-) Although, unlike other games, you don't really DO anything. It is more or less a glorified chat-program. You can build stuff, but I am such a beginner, I don't know how to do that. Might try it later on. Today I dared to explore a bit outside of the house my avatar shares with J's and Ugglefots avatars... (And many other avatars in a group called Outbreakers.) That house is my "home-base" as it were. Today I went off and explored a swedish exhibition (that failed a bit... seriously? is that the best we can do in such a huge virtual world? fail). Then I went of to Woodstock in the game to watch a John Lennon exhibition. And that was cool! Very groovy... Very flower power... X-D And while you were in the area they played constant music from that time period. Awesome! So I seated my avatar on a bridge over a river, and left her there while doing other things on the computer, just listening to the music. Hey, who needs a radio? *laughs*

Here are some images I have screen-captured from Second Life. :-) Oh, and if you have Second Life, do find me! I am called KSena Blackheart in the game. :-D

Second Life images under here! Groovy, man! )

Must say I am feeling much better to day. :-) Much more positive. We didn't take a walk together, me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73, since he wad determined to go to the gym today. So, while he did that, I went for a walk myself. Was nice. Just... to empty your head and stop thinking. This weekend will probably be damn lazy, apart from random walks that is... I'll try tomorrow again and see if I can drag him out on walk then. :-)

I totally blame Ugglefot and her hubby J for this, but I got myself a Second Life account and downloaded said game... Well, game and game... Not sure what to call it really, since it doesn't feel like you DO anything... but walk around and chat and talk. Apparently you can build stuff to, but I am way to much a beginner yet. Got some pretty clothes and hair-dos from Ugglefot. (OMG! So many hair-dos! I have turned into a hair-fetishist!) I was invited to there community/group of people, and got to live in there house... So now they have another house-guest. :-) It was slightly amusing, until my game started to bug out on me and freeze randomly. :-/ Not amusing at all. I hope it will work better next time I'll try it. Fun way to chat with Ugglefot if nothing else, since she never uses MSN anymore... *glares*

Talking of J, by the way! That man is looking DAMN good! He to went to The Studio to get professional photographs taken. He is very, VERY much a heavy metal boy, so when the photographer saw him, apparently she had gone a bit crazy with poses and stuff, and after the photo-session asked him if it was OK to add some of the photos to her portfolio. Now THAT! is high praise. :-)

And Ugglefot posted some of the photos in her blogg. You can see them HERE. He, of course, don't find himself that hot locking... Is that a male gene, or something? But hey... What can you do? X-D

I'll repost one of them photos here, and you can go over to Ugglefots blogg to drool over the other ones, girls and boys. ;-) And do tell him he is good looking. ;-)

Mr J, the hot stuff.... )

Oh, and he is taken. VERY taken. ;-)

*scoots over to Second Life again to see if it works better...*
