This is KSena

Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

Geez, where to begin...?

Lets start from the beginning, shall we?

This day started as most days. I decided to do my ironing, and did so while watching the movie Stepford Wifes. (Insane, but mildly entertaining. Didn't see that end coming, actually.) Worked nicely. :-)

After that, I surfed the net a bit. Decided to order another DVD with Tokio Hotel. The collection of Tokio Hotel TV episodes, just for the hell off it. :-P Especially when I saw on there website that they are going to air a new season off Tokio Hotel TV. I wonder if it is going to be over 50 episodes in this one to? I also saw THIS little vid at [livejournal.com profile] demon_kyos userinfo. It just shows how absolutely insane these boys are. No really. Tom? You look absolutely insane when your drunk. Nice grab on that girls ass there, btw. Following links I found a bunch of vids with funny quotes said by them boys during there career so far. And man... Geez... The way they talk about sex. At age 15 or 16... *laughs* Must give some prude Americans grey hairs. Especially Tom. Damn, your turning into my favorite with your bad mouth. X-D See the first one HERE, and then just... follow them links. :-D

After that I went to the library I was told about yesterday. And OMG! Such a nice school! And what a lovely library! And the best thing was that I hit it off with the two librarians right away! I am not kidding. And I looked my every day self, black clothes, purple fingernails, black wristband... Well, you know... And the older off the two was WONDERFUL! I am not shitting you! I felt totally comfortable with her, we talked for more then an hour. And in the middle off our talk, she said that she felt really good about me and liked me a lot. I mean, how great ain't that??? She really wanted me as a trainee there, and said I was welcome to start a trainee job on Tuesday, bright and early at 8am! o.O FUCKING YAY! AT A BLOODY LIBRARY! I HAVEN'T WORKED AT A LIBRARY IN YEARS! DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW BLOODY HAPPY I AM OVER THIS!??!?!?!

So, tomorrow bureaucracy. All the bleeding paperwork that needs to be fixed to make sure I can work there as a trainee without it affecting my unemployment fund and my contact with the employment office (who told me to get a trainee job to start with...).

I am so thrilled over this, you have no idea! :-D

Since I was bike-riding there, I had to hurry home and fix dinner, since once [livejournal.com profile] peting73 got home we didn't have much time, since we were going to the movies this evening. I made it home on time and all, and managed to fix the dinner on time to, so... We didn't need to stress it.

And we watched a movie we were both curious about. Inglorious Basterds. What. A. Crazy. Ass. Movie! o.O There is only one way to describe it. It is totally cracked. It is a Tarantino-movie. And it shows. Both me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73 loves Tarantino, and we laughed our asses off (even when no one else in the theater was laughing...). If you can stand insane humor and lots of blood, then this is the movie for you. If your sensitive, avoid it. :-D Just saying. ;-)

Oh, and I got myself a Plurk account today to. :-D It is a bit like Twitter, but I must say I like the look of Plurk much, much more. :-) So, you can follow my day HERE, if you wish to. And if you want to, join Plurk HERE!

Beetlejuice...
Productive day is productive. :-)

Been doing the laundry today, which is good, of course. But thats not what being productive is about today. :-) No.. I have visited three libraries today, begging for either employment or a trainee job. Well, most likely a trainee job, since there are so many librarians here in the city but still... If I got a trainee job, they would remember me and call me back if someone got sick and such... Would be a good thing.

Anyway, I started out at the University library (since that place is library porn, plane and simple). Sadly the boss off the place was in meetings all day, so I have sent her an email with my inquiry, as I was asked to by one of the librarians there. Onwards to the city library. Same thing there, although it seems I have to ask someone at the city-office about trainee job there. *shrug* I got the contact info to said person, so we'll see. Next, I went to the tiny library in this part off town. Well, that was a really good idea on my part, I must say. :-D

The librarians there were AWESOME! :-D We talked about books, my masters thesis, comics, libraries, librarians, kids + books (my favorite subject), and much more. They were really nice. Seemed like they really regretted not being able to take me on as a trainee. They were to many at that tiny library as it were. BUT! They gave me a tip. One of the school libraries not to far from here might have a place open for a trainee... or an employee coming in doing random hours. o.O Whoppido! Thats the best job-news I have heard in a long time! So, I got a number from them nice librarians, and a name. They also told me to go there, since this person likes to meet people face to face. I couldn't agree more. I like that to. :-)

So thats what I'll be doing tomorrow then! Oh, and doing the ironing. ;-) Good day! :-D

Now I'll play WoW while waiting for True Blood to come on! :-D

Alice in Wonderland...
So, I had a job-interview today. It didn't go well.

When I talked to the guy on the phone, he sounded alright. I checked out the companies website. Sounded alright to. I am not to fond of telemarketing, but as telemarketing goes... This didn't sound to bad.

So off I went. And getting there, he was not at all like in the telephone. Should have known though... Telemarketing, yeah? He gave off a sleazy feeling. In fact, the whole place felt sleazy. And I heard the telemarketers working, while waiting for my interview. Ugh... That did not make me feel good, let me tell you. Still, I figured, hey! A job is a job right? And when the interview started, I tried to sell myself that I was good and all, and in the same time being truthful when he asked something. But I guess I didn't hide my feelings about telemarketing well enough... :-/ It ended with him wishing me good luck (with a fake smile) and telling me there was no need for me to come back basically.

Fuck 'em. I am to good for telemarketing anyway.

Oh, before I forget. If you got a paid account, go HERE for some extra time added to your account, since LiveJournal had some troubles not so long ago.

That is all.

Coffee or Hot chocolate...
Yesterday was excellent! :-D

I took a bike-ride downtown to buy some stuff for my pirate-coat (only the buttons left!) and while I was down there walking around, my phone rang. :-P See, the day before on Wednesday an ex-workmate of mine jumped me on MSN telling me to apply for a job here in town. I did. Not a job I would have applied to regularly, but beggars can't be choosers. It is a telemarketing job. *sigh* Anyway. The guy at the place called, and wanted to talk to me so... we scheduled an interview. I don't know what that tells about me that the only job I even get an interview for is a telemarketing job. *shakes head at self* Anyway, it sounds like it is a way better company then Transcom, where I worked before, so I'll go there and we'll see what might happen.

In the evening I went over to [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbits and we worked some more on said pirate-coat. Now all preparations are done, so now we can start putting it all together. Exciting! The colours look awesome. Black linen for the coat it self, and wine-red linen for the lining. :-) I'll have to buy some really cool buttons for this coat. Problem. I need at least 28 buttons! o.O And I always buy two extra as spares. So, that makes it 30 buttons! Thats a lot of buttons... :-P Project for next week. Find buttons! :-D

Tonight we are going over to my cousins since she celebrates her birthday. :-) Gonna be fun to meet my extended family again. Loud, slightly insane. But always loving. (Even when they complain about the way I dress... I am 30+ years old! I can wear what I want, dammit!) I bet the son of my second cousin is going to jump me and [livejournal.com profile] peting73 tonight. He loves talking about World of Warcraft with us, since he thinks it is soooo cool that two adults play the same game he and his friends does. :-D It is kinda cute actually.

Also, in a total fangirl note. The other fandoms I am involved in there turns up a few icons here and there. Likewise in the stock-icon communities I watch. Then there is the Tokio Hotel communities... o.O Holy shit, they are active! To many icons, to little slots... and still I am up to 199 user icons. o.O I guess I stumbled on them boys just in time, since they are about to release a new album soon, and now there's popping up new photos all over. That might have something to do with everyone being so active to. But gosh! I can't download everything, dammit! *face-desk* *goes to fix dinner instead*

Your invited...
Went on a meeting to the Trygghetsråd (No good translation there... Safetycouncil?) to get more help finding a job. And it was a very good and productive meeting! My contact person there was awesome in fact, and gave me lots of good help and tips and ideas. It might still take some time to get a job, but my chances are much better then the last time I was unemployed, despite the current economic crises going... So that was awesome!

Been a bit funny sitting next to [livejournal.com profile] peting73 today when he surfed the net... He has been on YouTube for hours, and on Wikipedia... He started watching different vids with the Ievan Polkka, and a lot if different variations, then continued on to looking at russian folk dancing, especially cossack dancers, onwards to different World of Warcraft vids, and now it is Metallica vids he is looking at... And all the things in between... X-D Been quite amusing! A lot of good music to listen to as well!

Talked to [livejournal.com profile] chigrima just now to. Gotta make sure I buy that fabric she wants tomorrow, since the special store I am to buy it from is only opened on Wednesdays. o.O

Red carpet...
