Date: 2016-07-06 09:57 pm (UTC)To draw a parallel to one of my first fandoms (points to Xena-icon), Xena was the Token Hero, she was ridiculously good at anything she decided to do. BUT! She was flawed. She struggled with keeping her bloodthirsty warlord down. And she attoned for the wrongs she'd done. It was a campy cheesy series, but the bottom-line of the overall story was just that.
