Between cats and babies...

Been trying to do some Christmas shopping online today. Went so so... I did do some the other day, but today I apparently failed. :-P At least I've started. That's something, right?

peting73 is definitely doing better. Even if improvement is slow... which is annoying him to no end. So fun times ahead! He said he feels a bit locked in being at home, but really... Moving is good for him as long as he takes it easy doing so and not overdoing it... or so the Doc said. Hopefully I can get him to join me and Alexandra on our little activities that we have this week. Problem is, they are during the early day/mornings... at which time peting73 is feeling somewhat ill before his meds have kicked in. So we'll see. It would be good for him though to get out of the apartment. Today he got out of bed, had food and meds, and went back to bed... not getting out of there until around 2pm... o.O So yeah...

Alexandra has been a good girl though... She isn't the one waking me up early in the mornings. She usually wakes up between 7:30-8am. The cats, however... is a whole other story. Especially Verdandi, damn her... She likes to cuddle in bed with us, right? Totally cool. I love having our cats snuggle up to us in bed! But she is a fat lazy one... Even though all doors are open here, she scratches the bedroom door which wakes us up... getting us up from bed... and she won't stop until we pick her up and put her in bed between us. She walks around, settles for scratches and snuggles... jumps down after a bit... and the moment I've ALMOST fallen asleep she scratches the door again... until I get up, pick her up... put her in the bed... give her cuddles... And rinse and repeat... She did this FOUR TIMES between 5:30-7:50am this morning! o.O GAWD DAMMIT CAT! And juuuuust when I'd ALMOST fallen asleep again at 8am... Alexandra woke up, hungry like only a baby can be. *face-palm*

If JUST Verdandi could stop her damn nonsense, I'd get enough sleep, no problem! GAH!

I'm glad Peting is feeling a bit better, even if it's just enough to get up and take care of himself a little.

If Verdandi's behavior is unusual and she hasn't been doing this since you had Alexandra or something, you might have her checked out by a vet. It's interesting she scratches on the door to wake you up, even though it's open. Why doesn't she just jump on the bed herself? Yeah, if you can, you might have the vet give her a check up. :)

I am very happy he is doing better to. :-) Annoyed Peting ain't fun. :-P He is doing better by the day now though, and does feel good enough for work on Monday. :-) I hope he is right though so he won't overdo it. Time will tell, I suppose.

Thing is, Verdandi's behaviour ain't unusal at all... *lol* She's been doing this shins she was little! Only not as often as now. I think she is jealous... :-) We decided to test her the other night though... and didn't get up when she started make noises by scratching the door... I was afraid she'd wake Alexandra up, but she didn't even stir... And when we didn't get up to pick Verdandi up... She stopped! And jumped up herself! X-D GAWD DAMMIT! Stupid cat... So if she does it again? We'll just ignore her. Apparently that works. *lol*

Ha ha ha! X-D The little dolls are called blinkies (they blink, see?) and there is this WHOLE community on LJ with makers, users and a ton of LJ-communities to join about them. :-) Much like a huge fandom, actually... Including the drama and such... X-D

And my cat's are insane, so trust me when I say you don't want them! X-D

Not involved with the community (anymore), but I make dolls. Mine don't blink, though, so they're not blinkies. I've got some from last month I still have yet to do. >_>

All cats are more or less crazy I think. :-) You just have to find one that is crazy but fits you. ;-)

I know some "blinkie-makers" find dolls from various doll-sites and put them boxes on them. Of course they ask first, but yeah... I have a bunch of those to.

So, so glad to hear that Mr. Peting is obeying--mostly--and feeling a little better! Hope he continues to take it easy and heal!

It's wonderful to hear that Alexandra is doing so well and sleeping, but what a silly kitty you have! Maybe we could put her and Chloe together since Chloe only comes alive after midnight. They could entertain each other all night, and we could get some sleep! :3

Oh, Peting is doing a TON better, thank you! He actually feels good enough for work on Monday! I hope he'll do fine then, I really do. :-)

If they meet Chloe my cats would probably jump up the nearest shelf and peer down at her wondering what the hell that thing is? X-D They are not quite right them cats. ;-)

Alexandra is doing really good. :-) She has her fussy days, but it's not every day, so it's really fine. She is a great baby really. I consider myself very lucky. :-)
