This is KSena

Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

Oh gawd, I am going to get a whiplash from reading my flist... Some have some serious shit going on with work and family and I just... want to give them a hug! And then in the next post some awesome stuff has happened and instead a smile is spreading across my face...

Sometimes I wish I could sort posts by their mood. *lol* At least that wouldn't give me a whiplash. ;-)

Anyway. Had a pretty good day at work today to. Short day, only four hours. Shockingly short, since I am getting used to do such long hours now. :-P Tomorrow I start at 8am though... Meaning I have to leave home 7:15. Not amused. At all. :-/ Starting at 9am and leaving home at 8:15 am is fine I think but... *shrug* I just don't like mornings. At all. :-P

Right so... Oh, I saw this at a friends LJ (thanx!) and since I know I have a lot of Sherlock fans on my f-list *winks at [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit* I thought it might be of interest.

US Version Of Modern Day Sherlock Holmes Gets The Green Light

I've always wondered why the US aka Hollywood has such a deep need to remake everything? Why is that? Can't blame the language this time... Ah well...

You are not the only one hating morning! I'm a total night owl, but I have realized that it isn't that bad if you do it all the time (start early), the time you are awake and fee gets so much longer, or at least it feels that way LoL

by the way, it's not the us making non-us films. they also remake so many us older things. like the modern version of honeymooners and twilight zone. why do it again if you got it right the first time?

To true! Why fix something that ain't broken! I don't think swedish film has made any remakes... Correct me if I am wrong... But then again, the budget of the swedish movie industry compared to Hollywood is... well, TINY would be the word. *lol* Still claim we are good at drama (Thanx, Ingmar Bergman!).

One remake off an old Hollywood movie that annoyed me was... Planet of the Apes. I mean, the first one with Charlton Heston had SUCH an impact and was SO good... It just failed when they did a remake. :-P

Ah, yes. :-D The bombshell Anne-Margaret! *grin* Yes, indeed. She is swedish. I saw a documentary (swedish one) about her once. Really cool! Didn't she have a stint with Elvis? Memory fails, but I think she was in one off his movies?

hells yeah! they had a passionate affair and they were in several movies together. a lot of people think that she was elvis' real true love, but for sure, she really loved elvis.
