This is KSena

Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

Alright, I'll be going to bed in a second, but I had to check in first. :-) Today I had a day off, since today is a holiday in Sweden. No one works, and everything is closed. But did we get to relax? No. [livejournal.com profile] peting73s cousin wanted us to come over. I love her, I really do. But she can be a bit... much sometimes.

Anyway. After that, we went grocery shopping and discovered that our trunk on our car doesn't work. At freezing temperatures you can't close it. Like, at all. NOT good. :-/ Not gonna use that one again until it stops being freezing. :-P

And then we went home and fixed the apartment a little (two cats shed insane amounts of fur, people!).

Then I packed for my trip.

YES! I am going on a trip tomorrow! :-D With my best friend [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit! We are going to Malmö and the Operahouse there to see the musical Les Miserables. (She is a HUGE fan! Yes, there are fandoms for musicals to... Surprised?)

It is going to be great! I haven't been there for many, many years. And we got a room in a really nice hotel to. So it will be awesome, I think. :-D

Also? Sure, [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit might be a fan of the musical and the story as a whole (I've read the book, it is good... but not fantastic.) Me though? I am going so I can see this guy on stage:

See the guy playing Pilate there? The nazi looking general with a really cool and deep voice? Yeah. Fred Johanson. I'll be seeing that guy live. And yeah. I can't wait! :-D

Righto! Better get to bed. I have to get up in 5 ½ hour so I can take a shower before leaving. Hope you guys have a great weekend to!

I hope you are having a great time on your trip and while watching the musical. One of my favorite songs (such a hopeless romantic, me) is in that musical: On my own. It was the soundtrack of my teens.

Ha ha ha! My favorite character is Javert, so.... ;-) And not that much of romantic either. I loved the songs the Thénardiers... Hilarious. And the confrontations between Valjean and Javert... They were quite awesome to!

I've read the book to. :-) And even if the story is really really fascinating and all that... I read a book that had kept the old language so to speak, which kinda destroyed it some for me, since I had to concentrate so hard on getting what was being written, and hence couldn't concentrate so much on the story itself. :-P I'll try to find a copy where the language is more modernised. I think I'll enjoy it more then. :-)

It is quite a dramatic story, so... I guess that's why they didn't want it on Broadway? Who knows... It still runs in London though. Or so [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit tells me. She keeps track of all her favourite musicals. Where they run. How long they've run. And who the stars are in the current stage-show. She is a bit crazy like that. ;-)

My travel-log won't be as long as yours I fear. ;-) And with less photos! :-P But a small travel-log there will be. ;-)

Oh, I love that kind of old speak. During a lull in the car today, this happened:

Me: Kseenaa's going on a trip this week to see Les Mis.

Z: Hmm.

Me: Yeah. She's going with spice hobbit.

Z: Yeah, I was gonna follow that guy so I could see his whiskey reviews.

R: Aww, that's sweet!

Z: But I forgot. Who do I follow? Spice hobbit?

Me: No! Spice hobbit is her best friend. Peting is her fiancee.

Z: Oh.

[He probably was not listening for most of that conversation and tuned half of it out.]
