This is KSena

Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

Oh my fucking gawd. What a day. *head-desk*

Not that any of the patrons/visitors at the library was particularly troublesome (even if a book was that I for some fucked up reason couldn't find, even if it was supposed to be there, dammit!).

No. It was the LOOOOOOOONG hours I worked today.

I did my first shift at the library between 10am-2pm.... Then I went home, got some food and tried to relax a bit with [livejournal.com profile] peting73 and then back to work again... Doing my second shift, working between 4pm-8pm.

NOT fun, let me tell you. I really don't like it when my hours are split up like this. Give me long days, sure, but for the love of anything holy, don't split the day up in two!

[livejournal.com profile] peting73 just proved what a lovely loving man he is today though... When I came home grumpy and such (the weather was really pissy today to), he gave me a kiss saying he had a surprise for me. A few mins later, he got an apple-pie out of the oven saying I'd deserved it today. Man. He sure knows how to work his way around me. Classic recipe to, with his own twist on it. Of course. He can't cook anything without doing his own twist on it. *lol* I don't mind though. It always turn out delicious.

So yeah. Long bad day... that ended good. Especially when getting on LJ and I see that one of the dark-fics I follow have updated. Guh! Good ending of the day. :-D

Also, note to self. Continue updating this place. Because damn if I don't feel better after writing here. :-D

There are few things that doesn't feel at least a little better after a pice of homemade apple pie.

But I know the feeling, split hours is the worst, and a gap of two hours are so useless, you don't have any time to really do anything in that short time either.

Home-made pie, and snuggles with hubby.... and I was my happy self again. :-)

Yeah. I mean, three hours... then I could relax some. But two? I barely had time to get home! Fails, it does. :-/

Yeha, it feels so pointless, better to work them too and get some money at least.

I'm with you, love. Long days are a fact of life, but splitting them up really sucks cause it just throws you off. If I get home after a shift of work, my mind/body says "PJs and tv," not "gotta go back."

Writing does make you feel better, and mmm, apple pie :D

Split days... You get used to them, but they're never fun... (I have two a week...)

Pie and fic update sounds like a good way to make it better though. *grins*

,D my dirty mind turned your subjectline into 'threesome day is threesome' at first

workday spit in two doesn't sound that good, no :/ good, that you have someone waiting at home and baking apple pies <3

Ugh, splitting a shift like that is terrible! It feels like working two days of work in just one. I'm glad you made it through!

Your hubby is the sweetest thing ever! <3 What a wonderful man to make you a pie and have it all ready when you got home. That's true love! (Does he happen to have a brother who's looking for a woman in the U.S.? :P )

Hope you had a great day today and some leftover pie!

Yeah, that is pretty much the reason why I really really don't like split days. :-P

And unfortunally [livejournal.com profile] peting73 don't have any siblings at all. ;-) Unlike me, he is an only child who only grew up with his mom. :-) He had a grin at your comment though, since I read it to him! :-D
