kseenaa | The Makeup photo-meme!

I am aaaaall about the memes these days, aren't I? First you had to live with listening to my terrible voice, and now you have to look at what I look like. Without makeup. I feel sorry for you. *lol*

Anyway, this is going around at the moment. Take photos of yourself as you prepare yourself for the day kinda deal... So here is my take. This is what I do. After my shower, that is. :-)

Makeup meme photos follows now! (If you for some reason want to see them bigger, the photos are clickable.)

That would be me straight out of the shower having just dried off.

Gotten bodylotion (ACO Bodylotion, Scandinavian brand) and face lotion (Nivea Visage DNAge Daycare) and eye lotion (Nivea Visage DNAge Eye care) on.

Gotten my clothes on and finds this under the towel... THE HORROR! O.o

Well, a comb took care of that. And I've also put on eyeliner on my lower eyelid. A pen, Darkest Shadow Soft Matt from Make Up Store.

Have put on eyeliner on my upper eyelid. Using Cake Eyeliner from Make Up Store and brush nr 113 from Make Up Store.

Using some eyeshadow on top of the eyeliner to make it look a bit more... smokey or something... Both upper and lower eyelid. Using Microshadow from Make Up Store (colour today Flamenco) and the brush 210 from Make Up Store.

Now I got mascara on to! Also from Make Up Store and it is called Long Lash and the colour is, of course, black.

And with my new bitchin' glasses on!

Before I rushed off to work this afternoon in the big city library down town, I threw on some lipgloss as well. It's just called Lipgloss and is from H&M.

And here is the stuff I used to put on that fabolous makeup I just showed off... or not so fab. It takes less then 10mins to get that all on. :-P And no, I don't use any foundation or stuff like that. No patience for it. :-)

And here is the collection of makeup that I actually own... Not that much, and I could probably throw away half off it to. Especially all the different lipsticks. I never use them anymore... Well, sometimes when I LARP, but very rarely.

Aaaaand... since we are on the subject, I saw a vid that

velociraptorx posted in her LJ where her friend shows how you can make your boobs look better then fake boobs... I am actually considering trying her tricks. *grins* I mean, it can't harm? Right? ;-) I must say she is really funny and quirky, so it is worth watching the vid for that alone. :-)

Good gawd... Now I feel girly... How scary... *shudders in discomfort*

Thank you. :-) And yeah, I have ten piercings total. 5 in my left ear, 3 in my right ear, 1 in my lip and 1 in my tongue. Yes, I do plan on getting more. ;-)

The boob vid was really interesting. I've seen that girl before and as much as I want her to enunciate, I never can stop watching her. Really interesting...had NO idea there were people who wore two bras. I hate wearing one! lol

I didn't use to use different brushes. :-P I totally blame my friends

_devilcandy_ and Owlfoot (http://ugglefot.blogspot.com/) for that. :-) They are my RL friends as well, and collect makeup and love to experiment with makeup on themselves and on their friends... including me. *lol* So I have seen what they do and how they do it and got inspired. And since I started to use the stuff from Make Up Store, putting on makeup got a whole lot easier... strangely. :-P Their stuff is a bit expensive, but on the other hand, IT LASTS! LONG! :-P Not even kidding.

Devilcandy who's forgotten her password here... Thank you. :-) BTW, I've found that if you use a softer eyeliner on your upper lid, like MUS black gel eyeliner or even a pen, it's easier to smudge it with the eyeshadow and get the smoky effect. The cake liner is awesome to get a nice crisp line though. Well, for me.

Why, HELLO there... ;-) And hey... Figured out another way to do it today, so now it looks way better. Thanx to you and Owlfoot that I even dare to experiment with all this! X-D And for introducing me to Make Up Store. :-)

OH! I misunderstood you in that post then. I thought it said she was your friend. :-P Sorry, sorry! It IS a really great vid though, and I'll sure as hell test her tips! :-D Especially when it is LARP-night, because I am supposed to look sexy then. *lol*

Woot? Flawless lips? OMG! Thank you! I've never seen anything flawless with how I look ever! o.O What a compliment! Thank you very much! My gawd, so many complements... Not used to getting so many at a time, girl! But no, my eyes aren't grey. They are a strange mix of blue and green... Greenish blue, one could say, since they are mostly blue. :-P

It's nice to see all these pics of you, and I think you look great with or without makeup.

Sorry to be butting in so late, but I just had to tell you -- you're adorable! I love how your makeup really emphasizes your beautiful eyes, and I love your pretty glasses. It's such a natural look that really plays up your features. So pretty and such a lovely smile! <3

Also, I needed a good laugh tonight, so I'm really glad you had posted that video (even though I don't think it was supposed to be *funny*). I was scared she was going to stick those poor little dogs under her shirt at some point! It was very educational though, and I got a good chuckle. Thanks!

It is funny, but with some brains. She is clearly sick of being called a stupid blonde... which just makes the vid even more awesome, since it is about boobs. X-D

i don't think I've actually ever seen a picture with your hair fully down before! even if it is a mess it's adorable.. and i really like the eyeliner you're using. is it new? i don't remember seeing it so dark before.

I've been doing my makeup like that for a while now, and I've gotten pretty used to it. :-) I blame my friends Devilcandy and Owlfoot for it, really... they are both very interested in makeup and such, and have dragged me around to various places, among others the Make Up Store on makeup evenings where they have shown off their stuff and what you can do with it. :-)

Ha ha ha! Well, I do like some things about my face (my eyes, lips and my hair) but there are other things I really don't like (my nose and my... beard... ehm...). So thank you for calling me beautiful! :-D

did not notice a beard at all, and there's no problem with your nose. :P

Well, I have to get rid of the beard at least once a week, or I have a serious shadow... :-/ It is pretty gawd damn annoying, trust me. :-P

I really like your makeup! It's classic and pretty :D I used to do the whole black eyeliner in the lower eyelid thing too, but no matter which eyeliner I used, it was always smudged at the end of the day and I looked like I had dark circles under my eyes, so I found alternate makeup ideas. XD

Also, you have the perfect lips for a lip ring! On people with thin lips, it looks weird, but with your full lips, it's perfect! :D

Well this eyeliner stays put. :-) Make Up Store has some seriously good shit, let me tell you. :-)
