Work, work... and Meme: Day 08 - A moment....

Worked otu fine to work in that library today. But dammit.... They need to fix their ventilation. o.O There was literary no oxygen in there, geezes christ! And the weather has been kinda wonky today to, being sticky and hot... making it even worse working in there. And when the visitors come in with a smile and say: "My don't you have it warm and cozy in here", I literary want to strangle them.... I didn't though. I am a nice person. At work. :-P Damn busy place to work at, I must say! I opened at 12, and it took what? Two minutes and I had a line of five people! Some wanted to send faxes (that I had never in my life done before!) some wanted to do copies (and I missed the copier that was standing literary right in front of me) and they wanted reading suggestions (look in the news shelf... it is a fucking library!). So it started out damn busy, and it kept up being busy the entire day, even if I managed to make sure no lines were formed again... and I even manged to get up quite a lot of books to the shelfs as well. So, GO ME! It went really well considering it was the first time I worked in that particular library. :-) I hope I get to do it again.

I was beat when I came home though and feel asleep in the bed while peting73 made dinner. I think it was the lack of oxygen in that library that wore me out so badly.

Randomly, if you have ever lived with a cat... or have friends who lives with cats.... You SERIOUSLY need to read this.

A moment? What the heck does that mean? o.O I mean life as a whole is just a line of moments, isn't it? I... really don't know what to answer to that. There are to many. Or to few.... I don't know. Strange question? Sorry for lameness.

Good thing you managed to avoid strangling the patrons! Not always easy, I know... We have the same thing, "oh my how warm it is in here...". Gets irritating by the third time you hear it, by the fiftieth it's certainly enough to make you wanna murder someone... Not of the fun...

So I go home and read ursulav to cheer me up. *grins* I definitely agree on the weirdness of that woman's life... And her ability to tell it in a funny way. Her IUD post made me laugh so hard I had tears running down my cheeks. And that cat one wasn't much better... :-D

Ugh I bet you felt like you were suffocating all day. It sounds like you had plenty to do though, so perhaps if you could breathe (which is kinda important) you'd enjoy working there significantly more.

Well, I did enjoy working there. It was just the lack of oxygen that was slightly problematic. :-P So I'd say you are very correct in that. :-)
