This is KSena

Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

Day 1 - Introduce yourself

Alright. :-) Figured this meme was a good thing to do since I got a few new followers/readers/whatever you wanna call it. :-) So here goes!

I am a 34 year old librarian, yep got the masters degree and everything. Consider my self a goth-librarian since I am a black-dressed cheerful goth to!

I live with my hubby [livejournal.com profile] peting73 in a pretty regular sized town in Sweden. Very much an internet nerd and geek... Not to mention a kinky bastard with too big a mouth. *lol* And I am disgustingly honest. Seriously, I should have a sign hanging around my neck saying: "Disgustingly honest, do not approach if hurt easily". *wicked grin* I prefer to say it like it is, instead of beating around the bush with it. It just wastes time and energy.

Clearly, I love books. I think it comes with the profession. :-) I've lately been on a roll with LGBT books for young people that has come out lately. There is some really good stuff for Young Adults that adult people can enjoy reading to. (Currently most curious on the re-write of Cinderella with a lesbian theme called Ash....). I am not straight myself, I think both men and women are equally gorgeous and sexy and have no preference. I happen to think there is a need for books like this for Young Adults, since there is precious little out there... especially translated to swedish. :-P

As I said, I am HUGE fucking geek. X-D As is [livejournal.com profile] peting73, so that works out nicely. *grin* We play World of Warcraft together on an account each, and we are both members of the local vampire-LARP (the oldest long-running vampire-LARP in Sweden). We also do regular pen-paper-roleplays or join others that our friends start. Sometimes together, sometimes one each. [livejournal.com profile] peting73 play more computer games then I do though, which is cool... He needs the distraction, because I also read HUGE amounts of porn fanfic on the net. Fanfics with lesbian couples or gay couples... I read both. And it is here there is a testament to how long suffering or simply how damn awesome [livejournal.com profile] peting73 is.

Regular evening at the household:

KSena reading a very kinky darkfic about two guys: "Peting... Does the male body work like this?" *describes horrific scene in wich the male body really gets it, usually sexually* Can it do that, hun?"

Peting, without batting an eyelash while continuing to play his game on his computer either answers yes, or no and goes into why. And we go into a discussion about how the male body works.

Might add. He is straight. X-D I love that man.

So we've been together for 8 years now and been engaged for three years.... Lets just say we are not in a hurry. *lol*

Another very important person in my life is [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit who is my very best friend who I have known since I was 13. But more on her on day 7. ;-)

I come from a HUGE extended family where we support each other and love each other. I might not meet some of them more then once or twice a year, but I still KNOW they are there for me no matter what. As I am for them. When we all get together the same time we're about 60 people. Not joking. I blame my grandmom and her sis for this... This support-system has turned me into a pretty stable person that is standing strong no matter what.

I didn't in school though were I was bullied to hell and back for being fat. Now, I am a big woman, a bit chubby, but I am not fat (Standing 1.80 meters high, or 6feet if you use feet). Looking at photos of me when I was a kid, I can see I was chubby, but not that fat I wouldn't say... I still got bullied for it for 6 years. It has put a dent on my self-confidence, sure. And it has taken me YEARS to get it back. I have it now, even if I do relapse sometimes. [livejournal.com profile] peting73, [livejournal.com profile] spicehobbit, my mom and my beloved brother reminds me what an idiot I am then and tells me how awesome I am. :-) Thank gawd for that!

Fandom-wise I am more or less involved in... *counts* five fandoms. Robin of Sherwood, Xena: The WarriorPrincess, Buffy: The VampireSlayer, Pirates of the Caribbean and Tokio Hotel. The biggest obsession at the moment is Tokio Hotel even if I do poke around in the others at times as well reading fanfic and such. Just noted. There are a lot off strong women in the fandoms I am in. Expcept Tokio Hotel then. *lol* Pretty cool. :-)

What else, what else... Gawd, I don't know what to write here. As I said, I am disgustingly honest, so... if you wanna know anything, just ask. I promise to answer to the best of my ability.

One-eyed gothgirl...

Haha! Your account of talking with Peting about the male body is SO much like me and Steven talking about fanfic. Steve is usually pretty amazed by how much women get right when we're writing men's reactions and feelings.

Btw, this is a great introduction post, but you never once in there said how amazing you are, so I'll say it for you. :D <3

Figured any woman reading slash and having a hubby has the same conversations... And said hubby is usually getting used to it. Hell, I've rubbed off so much on Peting he is starting to see possible pairings in movies, going: "I bet you want to get those two in a bed and watch." Did I mention I love that man? X-D
