This is KSena

Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

Apparently I'll work fulltime wedneysday, thursday and Friday... How did that happen?!?! So wedneysday I'll go work at that school with them troublesome kids... But not at the library, but at the community youth center where the kids hang after school... Oh ho ho ho... That will NOT be fun... *head-desk* And it is a full day to. :-P I hope I'll survive. Then Thursday and Friday I'll work at the bigger library closest to where I live, where I've spent the last two months... Two full days. Hopefully a bit calmer, yes. *crosses fingers* On the other hand, ANYTHING is calmer then working with those damn kids. :-P

Randomly, since I like making lists on what I need to do and shit... If you haven't checked out Wunderlist, I HIGHLY suggest you do! What a neat little program/planner/what have you! :-D I love it! Thanx [livejournal.com profile] omgwtfskittles for pointing that one out to me. It's REALLY easy to use, once I figured it out... and it took what? 10mins to figure out how it worked or something. And yeah, I got quite a lot done today that needed to get done... ;-) Found an app for my shiny new smart-phone to (for free), so now I can sync between phone and computer. All very high-tec. *lol* Very awesome!

Right, so... I'll just spamm the hell out of you with all the fun stuff I've found lately and wanted to share... but never got around to. Well, now you'll get it all in a go. *lol* :-D

This song was quite cool... A lot of strip sounding songs out there, but I must say I liked the beat in this one. :-D

And the Hollywood remake of The Girl with the dragontattoo is about to hit the silver screen...

I am on two minds about it. No offense, but as soon as Hollywood makes remakes, they butcher the original movie to hell and back. I suggest anyone to watch the swedish version. It is REALLY GOOD with a whole other way of telling a story then Hollywood movies does. So I dare you to do that. :-) Remake doesn't look half-bad though, so I will check it out.

Another movie I really wanna see is this one. The Ledge...

Yeah, the story seems a bit simple, but still.. I really wanna see it. And after watching Sons of Anarchy Season 1, I developed a HUGE crush on Charlie Hunnam...

More movies! When I prepared to go watch the last Harry Potter, I found some neat stuff on YouTube... Like this one... A look through the years...

But the most awesome one I found was this one... 7 Harry Potter movies in 7 minutes... And they don't miss a thing either! X-D Truly hilarious! Do check it out!

I really like the site FCKH8.Com. It is a cool site for a good cause, and their vids are hilerious! This one is to, and the kids at the end? SO CUTE!!! X-D

I've also found this link to Cracked.Com... (no one is surprised, right...) And man... The fact that these things actually EXIST?!?! Make me happy I am not a kid in this day and age...
8 Weirdly sexual products you wont' believe are for kids...

And lastly, how cute ain't THIS?

I think I just about died when I saw it the first time...

Girl in coat and hat...

Thanx. :-) I'm sure it'll be fine once I get there... But we'll see, I suppose.

And I hope the jitters pass. No wonder you have them though, what with the going ons in London though. :-P *hugs*

PS. i agree with you about the dragon tattoo movie: sweden did it as well as possible the first time. it skipped over major sections of the book but the book was so detailed anyway that it would have been impossible to get any more of it, but the actors were freaking perfect. the trailer didn't really tell me anything at all, but yeah ill probably see it. i liked the books enough. and um, WHY did they not give us a nice look at lisbeth?? because the swedish lisbeth and mikael were freaking awesome, but i cant see what they look like from half a second shots on the trailer! they're the most important characters and i want to make sure they're done right!

*grin* Yes, yes I have seen the cute vid with the mama cat. :-)

And I love the vids from FCKH8! They are so AWESOME! :-D Irony and sarcasm at it's best. ;-)

Oh, you've seen the swedish Millennium movies? :-D AWESOME! I haven't heard about anyone outside of Sweden seeing them. :-) I agree with you. Lisbeth in the swedish movies are SO AWESOME! Gawd, I want to sex her up... *cough* SORRY! I HAVE A THING FOR MESSED UP GOTH-GIRLS! Seeing photos from the american version of Lisbeth, I think she looks to.. clean? Not messed up enough? I hope you get what I mean. *lol*

i read the books and you said good things about the movies, im surprised i never told you i had seen them! they were great: they left out some of my favorite parts in the books, but that's just what happens when you take a 600 page novel and make it a 2 hour movie. im interested to see what hollywood includes and what it leaves out. lisbeth and mikael were so perfect in swedish! EVERYONE was, really, but they're the mains. i hope the hollywood ones can do as well...

Yeah, it isn't easy to turn such long books into movies, is it? :-P I think they did a good job though. Even the librarians I work with agreed they did a good job, and they are usually very picky women. :-) I admit to have a girl-crush on the swedish Lisbet though. :-P I really do. At least they got one swede in the US version: Stellan Skarsgård... I hope Peter Stormare, Stellans son Alexander Skarsgård and Max von Sydow would show up as well... But that would be to much to hope for, would it? :-)

it's true, they were very good films. and, i think, at least 60 pages of every book is just about mikael drinking coffee. (damn do you swedes drink a lot of coffee!) it's just they left out one of the most unique relationships in the book; erika sleeps with mikael even though she's married and her husband is okay with it because it's just sex and he knows they're good friends but he isn't threatened. they both lean on each other, and the dynamic between him-her-lisbeth-everyone else is really interesting in the book but perhaps not practical in an action film.

lisbeth in the swedish one IS damn sexypunk rock exactly how she's supposed to be. as far as i can tell from the american trailers, lisbeth hollywood version, not so much... :-\

You are right. It wouldn't be practical. :-/ But it would have made some really interesting moments in the movie, wouldn't it? ;-) Especially if Hollywood was going to try and recreate it. *laughs ass off*
