So it finally happened. After trying to get her killed for more then a year... Rose Valentine, my character of four years.... has died.
And it went by really fast to! X-D I knew she was living on borrowed time when her nemisis who killed her lover, Magnus Runarsson (a vampire nearly a millenium old), returned from his deep slumber... Now he is back. And he is pissed at Rose who managed to use her mental power once and drive him blinding insane. It is the specialty of the Malkavians. To be able to spread there mental insanity. And Rose did once. BOY did she! And Runarsson wanted revenge. Oh, he got revenge, alright.
When I got to the LARPs the GM's called to me right away saying, oh hey.... We need to do a scene that happened to Rose yesterday night. Oh, OK, I said and came with them. Only for this to happen to Rose:
Runarsson has this power called Summon, and it does exactly what it says. It summons a person to Runarsson. So, he used this power, summoning Rose to a warehouse in the outskirts of the city. Not able to resist this power, she goes there. Finally there, she is meet with a gang of nine neo-nazist that wants to kick her ass... Now, Rose was no fighter, but she had one effective defense: Voice of Madness. This power gives her enimies one mental instability and drives them into a blinding fear when she screams at them. She managed to scare off 6 of the neo-nazists on the first try, then the other three hurt her before she could scare them off to. Thinking she is in the clear, she tries to figure out where she is and why. When someone shoots at her with a shotgun. She runs towards the office in the building to hide from the shooter. Once in the office the room goes pitchblack. No really, not even Rose a vampire with better night vision then most can see a thing. It is BLACK. Like when you close your eyes. She couldn't see a thing. Scared now, she sends out a call of fear on the mental telephatic link that all Malkavians share that she is in danger. Then she sees two red eyes lightning up and claws slashing at her. As I said, Rose has never been a fighter, and her attacker was inhumanly quick, quicker then most vampires even, so she had no chance to defend herself. And... she died. The last thing she managed to send out on the mental telephatic link to the other Malkavians was that her murderer had claws and red shining eyes.
So that was the end of a character I have played for FOUR years. FOUR YEARS! Insane, I tell you... *shakes head* :-) Although Rose never found out, I happen to know that it was indeed Runarsson and his gang of underlings that killed Rose. :-) I also know once Rose was dead, Runarsson took her clothes and burned them. And since Rose was not quite 200 years old, it did take nearly an hour for her to turn into dust. Well, Runarsson packed her away in a box, brought said box to his home and buried her in the concrete floor. X-D Not the most graceful ending, perhaps, but there you go. I suppose he wanted to be able to walk all over her on a nightly basis. LOL!
I like to think she finally got to be reunited with her beloved Nils Thuresson Bielke that she really loved more then anything. :-)
Now this means I'll bring a new character to life that I have had waiting in the wings. A ghoul / vampire servent named Frida Wagner. Another LARPer is going to play her Mistress, although she isn't quite done with her character yet. So my new character, Frida Wagner, arrived a bit ahead of time to check out the land, find her Mistress Isabelle some good places to stay and hunt etc, etc... I even made an LJ for this character.... fridawagner. I hope I can keep it up. She is a cool character, and I am sure she'll be just as fun as Rose to give life to. :-)

Well, you lost a Rose, but you gained a Wagner. ;-) I hope you can live with that tradeoff to follow Fridas adventures instead. ;-)
