Amazing kids...

This gives me chills and tears in my eyes every time I watch it. And I have watched it A LOT today....

These kids are amazing. Fucking amazing. Better then the original. No other words for it. I see these kids in a regular public elementary school in New York. Not a flashy school. Just a school. And I see the troubled kids at the school where I work at there school-library. And I can't help but think that they'd NEED something like this too. Desperately. *sigh*

Yeah, I know. Thats what gets me everytime, that they have such feeling and joy in there singing. :-) Gives me chills.

They have a really great teacher right there, he looks so happy when the kids look so happy!

Exactly. To give kids that kind of joy and pride, you need a teacher with a huge heart and a lot of commitment. Clearly, they got that there. I just wish there were more teachers like that. Especially at the school I work at. :-P

Yeah, that teacher does seem like one of those one in a million teachers... But what really gets me is how one can see how the kids really FEEL the music, you know? That is what gets me every single time.
