So... I survived Christmas. ;-) YAY! *grin*

Christmas is always a stressful time of year for me, but it is not all bad! I have to point this out. Even if I stressed much more then necessary this year. :-P I get to meet a lot of my huge and slightly insane family and that is always awesome.

My schedule these days:

23ed: Visiting peting73s family where we exchanged small christmas gifts, ate the traditional sweet christmas porridge and christmas ham. Everyone happy with gifts. peting73s cousin very happy at seeing us. Food was DELICIOUS! Just hung out. :-) Was great.

24th: Driving to my aunts place, picking up spicehobbit on the way since she lives in the same area to, and having a wonderful day and evening there, apart from mom giving me a bit of fright, saying she had fallen and hardly been able to get up while she was lighting a candle at the graveyard at my fathers grave. o.O Eating ridiculous amounts of classic swedish christmas food. Playing games. Having a very open hearted talk with my cousin Josse. Loves so much on all my cousins. Leaving around midnight to moms house where we spend the night in her guest room.

25th: Waking up with a bit pain in our backs... The guest bed is a bit... small. :-P Moms working during the day. peting73 and I just hang out in her house, not doing much. peting73 sweeps some snow around the house, since again... it is snowing. And he wanted to get rid of some energy. I almost finished reading my book, and took a nap during the day. That nap turned out long. Didn't mean to. Felt great though. Called my brother and talked about mom, christmas, his kids and life. Called spicehobbit to check if she wants a drive home as well tomorrow? She does. Sets up plan. Mom coming home. More Christmas food when my aunts husband and one of my cousins V comes over. More tabletop games as well. Had a lovely evening.

26th: Waking up to some more pain in our backs... Ouch. Still the same slightly small bed. :-P Mom is working again, so we fix up a bit around the house. Still snowing, dammit! peting73 sweeping some more snow, and I am making it nice and clean inside the house. Packing our bags and Christmas gifts in the car. Gets ready to leave to visit my brother. Gets stuck on moms drive-way in all the snow! CRAP! Fixes, drives to my brothers. It snows a lot. The roads or sorta good though, and both me and peting73 are used to drive in a lot of snow. Gets to my brothers house in the middle of nowhere in the woods. Hangs out with my fathers side of the family. Plays with my brothers kids. (THEY ARE SO CUTE!) Exchange more Christmas-gifts. Hangs out and talks. Calls spicehobbit. Sets up meeting place. Hug brother and his family and leaves. It still snows a lot. Drives to pick up spicehobbit. Drives home. Roads sorta clear. Drive just as uneventful as the drive the 24th. HOME AGAIN! Spoils cats with shrimp. Goes to bed.

So that was my Christmas. :-) Hope yours was good to, if a bit less driving around. ;-) I had a great time, I love meeting my big crazy family, even if it means driving around like crazy. Sometimes it is worth it, actually. :-) Now I'll just relax until New Years Eve when J, Ugglefoot and spicehobbit will get her and we'll watch movies and eat delicious food all evening. :-D

That's what we're doing today with this snowstorm. Curled up watching movies, covered in cats. Glad you had a good holiday :)

Yeah, since our Christmas is quite stressful with all the traveling around, we usually spend our New Years in front of the TV. :-) And stuffing ourselves with food. ;-)

We're kinda used to this kind of snow, so it wasn't that much trouble really. You just take it easy on roads and don't stress, then your cool. :-) That we got stuck on the driveway was our own clumsy fault really! *laugh*

It is supposed to be a lot of snow in Sweden, isn't it? ;-) I am getting a bit sick of it though. :-P Enough is enough. But yeah, it was a good Christmas, despite all the driving around parts. :-)
