This is KSena

Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

Feeling so much better today. :-) Thank you for all the comments on my last post. They sure helped. We skipped the party today, and instead stayed home. Cleaned out the entire apartment and then we turned into lazy asses eating chocolate and candy from... Great Britain I believe. And playing World of Warcraft and reading porn fanfic (of course!). It has been a good day, and I think I needed that. Tomorrow there will be a birthday party and thats all we'll do all day. 1 ½ hour trip there and then 1½ hour trip home. And a quick visit to mom as well.

I think I'll survive this Christmas to. :-)

I'm so glad you're feeling better. When life gets you down, give it the finger, I say! ;D (Ok, so I just made that up, but still lol) ♥

*grin* Appropriate icon is appropriate? ;-) Yeah, just being a lazy ass in front of the computer was probably just what I needed. It does help that we cleaned out the apartment to. I always feel better in a clean apartment. :-) And I have done so! :-D

I'm glad you decided to give the party a miss. I don't think you were up to it, and you probably needed the rest.

I think you're right to. :-) It was the right decision to make, I think. Must have been, since I feel so much better now. :-)

Nah. I am a rabid Failbook hater. I really, really dislike that site, not to mention distrust it. :-P

Why do u hate it so much and distrust it?

Because everything you post on Failbook and everything you write on Failbook is not owned by you... It is owned by Failbook. AND, I would rather not my old 'buddies' from school, those that bullied me for... oh... 8 or nine years to find me. Same goes with my collegues and boss from work.

You were bullied too? I was really shy and I did feel like an Alien, looking from the outside in. I'm stronger now, so I don't care if the bullys of long ago fine me, if I were them I'd be afraid, very afraid ;)

I take it you don't like your job, collegues or boss? Neither did I. The best day was when I retired and I didn't look back. They didn't like me because I didn't play the game, didn't lie and wasn't a kiss ass.

On the contrary. I love my job. I finally work with what I have dreamed of doing. My colleagues are awesome beyond words. My work-place is great (if a bit of a mess at times.... kids, I tell you....). That is not the reason I don't want to use Failbook. I work as a librarian, part time. At a kids school. I doubt it would be a good idea if my boss found out I enjoyed reading homo-erotic stories or porn on my spare-time... They know I am bisexual. They know I like to read books about homosexual couples of both gender. They know I think there should be more books for YA's about homosexual couples. They know this. We have had lively discussions about it, and it has been awesome! And yes, what little there is to buy on the subject, both the libraries I work at have bought books for YA's on the subject. But again, that don't mean I want them to read my fangirl squee on Failbook. AND I don't want Failbook to own my words or own my photos to do with as they wish. No thank you.

YA's? It's refreashing to know there are people out there who do enjoy their jobs, 97% don't.. your very lucky

I guess I am. :-) Oh, and YA stands for Young Adults. :-) The abbreviation usually used when talking about books. ;-) Sorry about that.

And yeah. :-) I guess I am. *smiles* It took me a loooong time to get where I am today, so yeah... I am VERY happy about that.

Fanfic, fandoms and the friends you find there can be some serious life-savers sometimes. That doesn't make my RL friends any less important, but I am guessing you know what I mean. :-) *hugs*

Yeah... I would've lost my mind if it weren't for the internet... I don't like being stuck in the middle of nowhere, having to keep silent about so many parts of myself. Knowing that there are others who think like I do is wonderful. Even if it means admitting I'm a dork who can quote liberally from several nerdy tv-series and books. *grins*

Also, without the internet, how much contact do you think we would have had? I suck at keeping in touch with people via phone and snail-mail... So, good for RL friends too.

Very true. :-) People say the internet pushes people away from one another. I disagree. I wouldn't have half as many friends without the internet. Or being able to stay in touch with those I have. :-)

*sends HUGS* RL has been getting the better of me too recently. (And spending those few days commenting back and forth was a great help to me, thank you!) I'm glad you had a good day, and I hope things start to get better for you from now on~ ♥
