Can someone tell me where my christmas spirit has run off to? No, seriously. Usually I am all over Christmas! I love it. But this year, I am so behind on things it is not even funny. I don't know. I just... don't want it... or something. Can't describe it in any other way. I just can't get into it.

And that stresses me out. Last year by now all the christmasgifts were bought. This year? I haven't even started. Last year all the christmas cards were sent. This year? I haven't even started. Unless you count th_wishlist stuff. And I have only sent off half of that. :-/ Yes. I am not amused. Not at all. And since I am the one working the least, and peting73 works evenings, it all falls down to me to fix it. When I would much rather read fanfics and write rpg and LARP characters instead. Fuck it.

I actually wish I won't get to much work next week so I can actually fix all the stuff I need to fix next week. *sigh*

Lets see if I can find something fun to post here, shall I? Lets see... Well...

Tokio Hotel launched two music videos that are... more like clip-music-vids, but still very good. :-) The first one, Hurricane and Suns shows there career backwards, starting with there latest tour and ending with teeny tiny Tokio Hotel when they just started out. They sure have gone a long way and managed to do so much despite there young years, haven't they? :-)

The other video is the same. But not. Instead it starts off with teeny tiny Tokio Hotel and ends with them today. Again, one gotta give them credit for all they have done. Whetar one likes them or not. This song, Mädchen aus dem All, is an old song that hasn't been released before until now with there Best of album. It is quite the awesome happy song though. :-)

Changing fandom here, since this fanvid really made me LOL when I first saw it. It still does. My favorite characters in the Buffyseries and the Angelseries is easily The Fanged Four - Darla, Angelus, Drusilla and Spike. And this little fanvid is so. Damn. Awesome. X-D

Talking about catchy songs, this kinda fits my mood right now. Beautiful life, beautiful music and everything and still my mood is... less then good. :-P So a song saying Fuck you! kinda fits quite nicely, even if the lyrics don't fit, gladly.

Talking off music, my favorite music site Grooveshark has updated its layout and is now even more awesome then it was earlier. :-) This is off the good. Makes it even easier to find the music I am looking for. :-)

And omg, I loved those videos! At first, I was really disappointed with "Hurricanes and SUns", only because I was hoping for an actual music video. But after watching the full thing, I loved it! They have come so far, and there was such a sense of nostalgia, a sense of, "I remember watching THTV, and them looking like that" and "I was a fan, then," so it seems more... idk, real? That's not the right word. Seeing them in the past, when you were aware of them at that point in the past makes it feel... idk, familiar. Idk, am I making sense?

And the second video complemented the first one really well. It was sort of a statement of, "Alright, we took you back to where we started, now let's show you were we are now." and I love it! It was so awesome, and even though we all already knew that they'd come a long way, the videos really put it into perspective how far they've come, and it really leaves you surprised, like, "Wow, they really HAVE come far!" We all knew it, but never really thought about how huge the distance was until it was put into a timetable, you know? /ramble

Hehehe I LOVE that song, "Fuck you, and um, fuck her too." LOL, me and my roomie sing that all the time XD

Yeah, I don't get the hate for them videos. I think they are pretty awesome, and as you say, the complement each other quite nicely. And old material to a Best Of Album makes quite a bit of sense, actually. But that might just be me. :-)

I have only been a fan for... a year or so, so I didn't get quite the recognizing feeling... It was more a feeling off pride, that they have really worked so hard and gotten so far, and are still so damn young! :-)

Yeah, I don't understand the hate, either. Sure, it's disappointing to not get an actual video, but what they did was amazing! And hey, they should be grateful, regardless, because they didn't have to agree to let there be videos for the songs at all. I'm sure there will be plenty more songs for videos to be shot for, but until then, let's be thankful for what we have, hmmm, haters?

They've accomplished so much; I'm proud of them, too! I hope they have success for as long as they want it, until the day they decide that they want to stop. ♥ They certainly deserve it!

i'm sooo behind on stuff too D. christmas time is the only time when i actually work full time (rest of the year it's just couple hours per week) and i'm not used to having so little time off so my to-do-list just keeps getting longer and longer. i'm sooo waiting for christmas to be over with rn

I've never been a big fan of Christmas simply because money was never there or my mom or I had to work, and we've never had the whole family together. This year is no different. Being jobless really bites when it comes to the holiday season. Hope you find your spirit, love =)

For me it is quite the opposite. Christmas has always been huge with my family. Lots of gifts (not necarly expensive) and lots of food and stuff... Games. And just hanging around. So it is a good holiday for me. Usually. I don't know what has come over me this year. :-P
