This is KSena

Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

Been a bit of a confusing day today, but mostly good. :-) It started with me being at the smaller library with them mini gangsters working there for two hours. Coming there I found out NONE of the computers worked. Thats.... Not good in a library, let me tell you. o.O But me and the other librarian there made do. I worked there between 9-11am. Two buss rides later, taking about 30mins, I was at another library to work. This one being the one that is a combined nursery and library. There it was very, very calm thank gawd.... Working there for two more hours between 12am-1pm. Then on the buss rides again for almost 30 more minutes to get the to hospital and the gynecologist for a check up after my big surgery.

As I suspected, I am total broken inside. I am so not kidding. I can't have children. Thats just the way it is. The Endometriosis has trashed everything there is to trash in there, and the thing that happened when I was so seriously sick, is that the Endometriosis has attacked my intestines to. It is ONE evil womanly disease. I hope I won't have to go through surgery over it again, but I can never be sure. As I said, it has attacked my intestines. And it can do it again, there is no telling. So there you go. :-P

Don't feel sorry for me or anything. I have suspected this since I was... what... around my 20's when I first got my diagnosis. *shrug* If your swedish, and want to support research on this disease, do check out this site: EndometriosFöreningen.

ANYWAY! After that visit, I went home. Another 20 mins by buss. *sigh* On the way, A jumped on the buss (she lives quite close to us). She is going to play the Mistress of my new character, the ghoul. Or vampire servant. So, she is the one that is going to boss me around. I am 33 years old in real life. She is 18. She is looking forward to play my Mistress... I wonder why? *smirk* Anyway, she might be young, but is quite mature and a lot of fun to be around, so I am really looking forward to this. We had a great time talking about our characters and what plans we had for them. It is going to be fucking brilliant! My character is going to be an ex-military, whose dead husband used to be a military to. She'll be breeding english mastiff dogs, and live in a truck and trailer, since her mistress is moving around so much there is no use for her to have a house or apartment. She'll also be good at surviving in the wild, at armed and unarmed combat, not to mention securing a home for her vampire mistress so it will be safe for her.

A tough woman. :-) To bad I am not IRL. X-D Oh well, it will be fun to play something different. Rose is really really not a physically strong character. She is, on the other hand, a mentally strong character.

I just feel it is time to do something different in the LARP. It is not that I dislike playing and acting out Rose Valentine. She is a crazy powerful vampire! And involved in a lot of weird shit. But I have played her for 3+ years.... I need variation by now. :-P

Right, so since it is the last of November, here are my last photos in the Sketchavember thing that [livejournal.com profile] croaky aka Da Awesome Croak has hosted. :-)

This photo turned out REALLY awesome! :-D It is one of two christmas stars I always put up in my windows during Christmastime. :-)

This one didn't turn out quite so good. It is the other christmas star I have in my windows. I don't know what I did wrong, but hey... [livejournal.com profile] peting73s camera ain't exactly easy to use. :-P

And lastly, another of the [livejournal.com profile] th_wishlist packets have showed up! This time filled with british candy! :-D And a pick with Georg on it! THANK YOU! *grin*

Aw sweetie I hope you don't really think you can't ever have children. Something very similar happened to my mum when she was in her early twenties but she still managed to have me and my sister. I hope you're not too down about it *hugs*

No, I can't have any children. During the surgery they saw that most of my reproductive organs where more or less mashed from all the endometriosis cysts thats been littered my abdomen area. I guess it got to crowded for them there, so hence they moved on to my intestines.... Now they did a double check, and yes. It is still mashed up. So, my reproductive organs don't work properly, so hence. :-P

And no. I am not to down about it, actually, since I have figured it was going to be like this since I was in my 20's. :-P Now I just got it confirmed.

*hugs you* I know you're already pretty used to the idea and all, but maybe it's still tough to get the confirmation. Have you and the Mr. thought of adopting?

The pictures are gorgeous. :D

It was actually pretty good to get a confirmation. Now I know, you know? :-) I always prefered to get straihgt up answers, instead of guesses and beating around the bush, you know?

And yes, we have. Although we are still not sure if we even want children as it were! But if we do want children one day, we'll go down the adoption road. I mean, there are soooooo many children out there without a family, so if we do want children, we'd help one of those. :-)

And thank you! Although I am still unsure about the settings on [livejournal.com profile] peting73s camera (hence the fail on the second photo), it is a lot of fun to experiment. :-)

AND! Thank you for the virtuel gift! :-D

Endometriosis is nasty nasty and it crippled me. I was anemic for about three years before the hysterectomy. It didn't get my intestines, thankfully. I had tissue growing in odd places but not the intestines.

Agreed. It IS damn nasty. Unless you do what you did, and get a hysterectomy. :-/ Worst thing is there is no cure. :-P *shakes head* As long as I can move around properly and it don't cripple me, I am happy. :-) I get menstrual cramps from Hades, but not worse then I can live through them, you know? And having endometriosis tissue grow on your intestines is... kinda nerve wrecking. Because if your intestines stop working... things can get serious, and quick. :-P So I really hope that won't happen again. :-/

That's what's scary-- intestines, digestion issues, potential necrosis, yech. That freaked me out when you wrote that that stuff was found!

I don't miss my uterus, I can tellya that. Even if I didn't have endometreosis I probably wouldn't've been able to carry a pregnancy because my uterus sat wrong and grew funny because I'm a (very likely, the maternal couldn't remember) DES daughter (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diethylstilbestrol).

Yeah, well... :-) I am alive, aren't I? ;-) And now when I know the risks I'll listen more closely to my body. I am one of those people who very very rarely go to the Docs since I always think 'Eh... I am sure it'll pass by itself.' Which it very seldom does. I couldn't eat or drink properly for three days before I went to the emergency this time when they discovered my intestines had stopped working. Trust me, I will NOT be waiting that long again. *nods*
