Yet another good day... and the many-fandoms-meme!

Worked a few hours at the library today to, worked fine... until all our computers decided to stop working properly! DAMN! That is NOT good! Cue stress... Not something we could rule over, but it sure didn't help. Luckily the visitors to the library where very understanding. Apart from the kids, of course, but hey... Kids are kids, so I guess thats alright.

And then there was another phone call today. When it rains, it sure pours... good things! Since the lady on the other end was from another library in town that I have visited before. And I got along very well with said lady to. Anyway, she wanted to talk to one of my colleagues, but before that she said they soon would have there planning meeting, and that I could probably count on getting hours at that library to... o.O OMG! It is the ketchup-effect, I tell you... o.O

I only worked until lunch, and after that I have been home taking it easy. My period started today. And anyone who thought my menstrual cramps would disappear just because I had my surgery and they took a ton of endometriosis cysts away? Well. Your wrong. I figured I'd still have bad cramps, so I wasn't surprised. But the surgery has taken some of the edge off. It probably also helps that I now have started to use a Mooncup instead of pads and tampons. Other women suffering from endometriosis who have started to use a Mooncup (or something similar) have been helped by it. I can only agree. Instead of taking a ton of painkillers today, I have manged to just take two of each. That ain't much when it comes to me, let me tell you.

So all good today, in fact.

4: Alright, what’s your favorite thing about your fandom?
1.) The warm welcome I have gotten from everyone in this fandom. I hope I will get just as good and long lasting friends in this fandom as I have gotten in the others.
2.) Don't know... That it wasn't the first or the second but the third movie that moved me so much I turned into a fan. What gives with that, I wonder? So I missed half the excitement, but what the hell! :-D
3.) Brought me to LJ, what can I say? :-D And turned me into a roleplayer on LJ to. And the many people I have meet, omg! Still friends today!
4.) The fact that Lucy Lawless (Xena) and Renee O'Conner (Gabrielle) went out and said that Xena and Gabrielle had a lesbian relationship, making femme-slash canon... WOOT! And that I have meet some life-time friends in this fandom, that I have meet in RL to. :-)
5.) The show is over 20 years old (it was made and aired in the mid 1980's)... and there is still con's held, fanfic is still written, and there are still people who discover this old TV-show to this day, and turn into fans... Parents watching the show with there kids, turning them into fans... Now THAT! is cool. :-)

5: Who’s you least favorite character/person in this fandom?
1.) The stalkers who think they are fans... Seriously, threating someone and there family is NOT the way to go.... You are so not a fan then! *fumes*
2.) I have no idea.... o.O
3.) The fans who think there pairing is the only true one... And I am talking about both sides in the current "war", as it were... Seriously, people. *shakes head*
4.) Can't think of any.

1.) Not really. :-) I think all four them boys are pretty awesome in there own right.
2.) The angsty but noble Captain Will Turner of the Flying Dutchman! *pats him*

4.) Evil!Xena makes me jizz my pants, seriously... o.O
5.) Will Scarlet. Easy. My first fandom crush. I still crush on him to this day. Ray Winstone sure looked mighty handsome when he was young...

Oh goodness, the Mooncup seems huge! I had to google and check out the images. I thought the cups like that were smaller, but I guess they have to be that big, huh? I'm glad you found something that helps you a little bit, though. :)

I thought the Mooncup was huge to, but then I started thinking... I mean, if your married, or live with a man, you DO have bigger things in there with regularity. X-D And yeah, it does need to be that big, so it can collect the blood. :-) First few times I emptied it, it was a little messy, but I got the trick down now after two days, so no mess anymore. :-) And I feel so, so much better. Funny how such a thing as turning your back on pads and tampons can make such a difference in how my body feels....

Glad my answers to that meme could amuse. I mean, it was a perfect meme for me, since I am involved in 5 fandoms! :-D Just had to link to the oldest one, since not that many people know about Robin of Sherwood. ;-)

I think I have just read one Will/Nasir, and now I can't find it again.... It was very good, what with how calm and collected Nasir is, and the very hot temper of Will. ;-) I am sorry I couldn't find it again. I think I found it in the Pit aka Fanfic.Net a long time ago, or if is was Adultfanfic.Net. :-P I do remember how good it was though, so yeah.... I am liking that pairing. :-)
