Annoying employment office and lovely visit from family!
Had such a lovely visit this Wednesday, you wouldn't believe.... But first things first!
I was working during the day Wednesday and it went very well. :-) I am getting more and more hours, witch is off the good, I'd say. And I did have a really good time. They gave me even more hours next week, wohoo!
After that I had to go down to the employment office. And that sure as hell put a dent on my good mood, let me tell you! Gawd damn! I was told I should look for another job, since I am not working 100%. I was told that if I wanted to cash out the last 8 days of cash from the unemployment fund, I need to say no to work. Which, btw, I am not allowed to since then I can't get cash from the unemployment fund. Yeah... makes perfect sense to me to. Oh, and since I have no days left to get cash from the unemployment fund, I am going to get something called "activity support" from the Swedish Social Insurance Administration. To get this "activity support" I need to be "active" 100%. Meaning that I need to get a new trainee job. I just starred at the guy telling me this, like he was growing two heads. I am having a job at the moment. Not 100%, and very random, but I have a JOB! No worries, the idiot says, you can be at a trainee job the days your not at your job. I might not work full days all days, I says. No worries, the idiot says, you'll just have to go to your trainee job after you finished your regular job. But you need to be active either with your job or a trainee job, so you are active 40 hours each week, 100%. How the hell that is going to work out, I have no fucking idea. But it sounds fucking insane. I mean, seriously, WTH? I don't even.... *groan* *puts head in hands*
To say I lost a good chunk of my good mood there would be an understatement. But it soon lifted because when I got home I managed to FINALLY read up on my f-list! Wohoo! All caught up now. It just took a week. :-P X-D
And then, finally... My aunt and her family showed up. And I could finally, FINALLY give Ella-Bella a hug IRL. It was so, so good to see her again after a whole year. My aunt and her family are like my extra-family, you know? So I care almost as much about my cousins as I do about my own brother. They are my extra-siblings. So, of course I have been worried about her being away at the Maldives for a whole year. But she is doing fine. She is getting promoted all the time. Gotten a prize for best employee. Flirted with boys/men (no surprise there). And generally living a brilliant life there. I am so fucking proud of her, you have no idea!
We had a lovely evening just talking. And all five came to visit to! A rarity in and off itself making it the more special. :-) Very proud of Josse to, since she has been promoted as well. She is now the bar manager at the pub and restaurant where she works. :-D To imagine she started out picking up the dishes there.... Good work, says I!
They stayed quite long to, and we talked and discussed a ton of things plus watching some TV. :-D
Then Thursday, I worked all day. Since all the librarians were at the Book Fair in Gothenburg, I was responsible for the whole library. It was me and another temporary librarian there, leaving me in charge. It went brilliantly and we got a lot of work done. But damn, it was a busy day.. SO MANY KIDS! The library where I work is a joint library, used both by the public and by the school in the same building, so yeah... A LOT of kids that day. So, I couldn't really sit down until after lunch. And not during long moments after lunch either! Damn, my feet hurted after that, let me tell you. And my stomach muscles felt like I had done 100 sit ups or something leaving them muscles a bit sore... I was so drained when I came home! But in a good way, in that I had actually been doing a good work that day. :-)
Today we have just lazed around. Got my hair cut (very needed) and bought birthday gifts for my brother and his wife, but thats about it. :-) Tomorrow will probably be a lazy day to. I think I need that. :-P
