Not feeling much like my birthday today, but yeah... I am now, officially at 9:30am this morning, 33 years old. Geez.... Am I not supposed to feel like an adult by now? *sigh* Bah. I'll just continue being insane. Much more comfortable in the insanity zone. We got cookies! And gnomes...
Not gonna be much of a celebration today, I am afraid. I did have a bit of a celebration yesterday, which was nice. My mom,

peting73 mom and my aunt and her family was here. I had experimented a little and made some different kinds of cakes. Two of them had no flour and no sugar in them... How the hell do you bake then, you ask? Well, you buy an epic cook-book / bake-book that has specific recipes for those of us who eat LowCarbHighFat food. :-) So that was fun! Then I had also made a very, very yellow cake.... No seriously. It looked poisonous... It had both lots of lemon in it and saffron in it. And Lemon Curd on top. It was dangerously delicious. And to top it all off, peting73s ever epic, slightly orgasmic, caloric punch cake. To say we had a cake party would be an understatement. :-) peting73s mom left first, since the buses kinda suck on Sundays, but she arrived first so she stayed pretty long still. I got a beautiful crystal drink glass. She said that since her son always drinks whiskey we have plenty whiskey glasses, but not so many drink glasses and figured she should do something about this. X-D Since we have plenty glasses from the series Intermezzo from Orrefors, we got another one in that series. (You can see a picture of it HERE.) Then my mom arrived. I got some money from her, which is very very good since I am always short on cash. :-) It is supposed to go to either a new vacuum cleaner or a new dishwasher. And then my aunt and her family came and I got a gorgeous orchid where they had put a bunch of bills in it that they had folded to look like butterflies. X-D I now have 6 orchids! I love those flowers... And more money towards a vacuum cleaner or a dishwasher.How about
peting73 then you ask? Well, he'll buy me either a vacuum cleaner or a dishwasher since that is what I wanted for my birthday. I just have to choose one. I have until we get home from moms to make up my mind. :-P (Might pick the dishwasher since that is more expensive and then use the money I got to buy a cheaper vacuum cleaner... *ponders*)Talking of going to moms. Hence not much of a birthday today, since we'll be the afternoon on the road going to moms, and then up crazy early tomorrow morning to start preparing and then repainting her house. It'll probably take three days. I am not looking forward to it for that reason, and reason stated in my earlier post. :-/
Oh well. I'll live, I suppose. :-) Thank you for all the birthday greatings, F-list! Vampires, goth-boys, pirates and warrior-woman all around! I love you all! :-D

I love the glass you received!! And you should totally make him buy you the dishwasher and that way you can totally buy something else for you if you have some money left over after the vacuum.
Aww, I love painting! I wish I could help! When I get my own place, I'm going to be doing a LOT of that. =o) Regardless, I hope your birthday is still a good one!
