peting73 is so made of win! X-D If anyone doubted our nerdiness, you can stop doing so. While he played World of Warcraft and I read up on my f-list and read a bunch of very... dirty Tokio Hotel fics. (I am a perv. Shoot me.) You don't think we do this shutting up, do you? Oh no. Of course not. Sometimes I ask peting73 the wonderful question after reading some steamy scene in whatever fanfic I read: "Hey.. Dear? Does the male anatomy really work this way?" followed with a description. peting73, used to me by now never raises an eyebrow and calmly answers my question. Damn, I love that man. X-D
Anyway. Today we discussed odd music, since I had both Grooveshark open and Spotify opened and searched for odd music to listen to. All of a suddenpeting73 goes all exited and says, do a search for Tiny Dancer and Dave Grohl (of Foo Fighters fame). I did. And this? Oh, this is good. How the heck he got a talk-show audience to act like they're on a huge concert, I'll never know. But he does. Reading up on him, and listening to peting73, this is apparently a man not taking himself serious at all. I love men like that. Hence I live with peting73. *lol*

And if you didn't know it... Check out Tenacious D's vid for Tribute.... The devil look familiar? Yeah, that is Dave Grohl. Might add he started his musical career as drummer in Nirvana... Interesting man!

Date: 2010-04-01 07:46 pm (UTC)I don't know how much of a metalhead you are, but if you want odd metal I suggest Finntroll. Slaget vid Blodsälv for starters. Can't get much weirder than death metal combined with Finnish folk music (complete with accordion...). Or maybe that's just me...

Date: 2010-04-02 10:10 am (UTC)I think my current metal thing is because I discovered the subgenre Finntroll belongs to: folk metal. They are the weirdest folk metal band I've heard, but certainly not the only one....
Other than that, I tend to listen to almost everything too... It would get boring just to listen to one kind of music all the time, I think.
