This is KSena

Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

Been working at the smaller school-library today. Was quite fun actually. Where a few kids who couldn't behave, but I promptly kicked them out. You think it is a good idea to start screaming in the middle of the library? Then you have no business here. Also, note to kids. I can only help one at a time, no matter how polite you ask me. :-P Yeah, was a fun few hours. :-)

I seem to have collected quite a few of fun and/or interesting links and vids during quite some time. And haven't shared them! Shame on me! So here goes. Just a big dump of fun and interesting things that either I find important or just... hilarious. :-)

Lets start with this one that I found today, hmm? Alien vs Pooh. Yeah, you read that right. It is hilarious. I want whatever he/she that wrote/drew that was on.
Alien vs. Pooh. The book.

Lets continue on the fun path, eh? This song has been stuck on my mind for almost a week now. I just can not get enough of it! Everyone reading or writing fanfic should definitely watch this. Might add that the singer is a MtF transvestite. ;-) So fucking awesome!

And now a useful link. If your like me that have a tendency to clutter up your home.... (Thanx grandma for that gene...) Then this site will be very, VERY useful! I love it! I haven't even begun to read it all. I doubt it is possible. But what I have seen is very useful.
LifeOrganizers.Com

Lets continue down the semi-serious road. And be serious for a bit. About food. I have a few new people reading here, I know. So. I don't eat any carbohydrates. I eat low carb. And high fat. VERY high fat. And right now? I haven't felt better in my entire life. I am not shitting you. Jamie Oliver might not talk about lowcarbhighfat food, but he is still making a lot of sense. I care about what I eat. And had I a kid, I'd care about what he/she ate to. Jamie Oliver does as well. This talk of his is very eye-opening and well worth watching.

Link to this talk HERE.

Serious enough for you? Then allow me to pimp a community as well. Where the lovely and sweet [livejournal.com profile] flutterings is a mod. (How she can stand being a friend with me is still mind-boggling... *mind boggles*) ANYWAY! This is a really awesome community where you can support and well... basically a shoulder to cry on if you need. Your a good listener? Well... those are needed to. Random acts of kindness mean so much, especially online. Me? I haven't joined since I doubt my bluntness and brutal honesty would be welcome, but I think this is such an awesome thing that is definitly needed, so... go join!

Some more usefulness... I have used the IM client Trillian for years. I love it. It is damn nice to use. You can either pay for it and go Pro, or download it for free. And the latest news is that you now also can use it online! WIN! I couldn't recommend this client highly enough It supports near to everything.

Lets go down the silliness road again, eh? You all know that I have this thing for them gothboys in Tokio Hotel, yes? ;-) You can't have missed it by now... *lol* Well this vid is from when they had there concert in Prague 15 of March. Georg, Gustav and Tom is thanking the audience. Tom, however, shows what a bad boy he... tries to be. And thanks them in his special way... *lol*

There. Both seriousness and laughter. Lets end this with some beauty.

As some of you know my hubby, [livejournal.com profile] peting73 has a pretty good camera and loves taking photos. He is also doing monthly challenges in the community [livejournal.com profile] behind_the_lens. This latest one was Landmarks. :-) And this is our landmark in Borås:
Pinocchio

And lastly this... I seriously had my jaw drop down to the floor when I saw this....

And after this massive spam, I'll go... do something else. It did turn longer then I thought. :-) And yes, I do feel better today. ;-)

Wanna play with me?

Canon Eos 450D / Rebel XSI apparently. (I asked.) He wants to buy a better lens so he can take even better photos... We'll see when, I suppose. :-)

That's the same camera I have (XSI) but I've never had a picture come out so big... I wonder if we are using different lenses?

Not sure... He says it is named Canon Eos 450D, but is also called Rebel XSI. :-P I don't know. I am not that good at stuff like that. :-P

Might add that the statue is quite huge in and off itself. ;-) And he was standing right next to it. ;-)
