Cakes, candles and vamps...

Yesterday was quite fun! I did all my cakes that I had planned. Two worked out perfectly, and one worked out sorta good. *lol* Had I taken a smaller cake-mold, it would have worked out perfectly to. It was still a learning experience. Now I feel a need to buy these two recipe-books, because they really are awesome. I'll take a photo when I have put all the cakes on the coffee on the table for my guests to grab... before they start grabbing, so you can see how the cakes look like. :-) I did try one piece of the Cut-Thursday-cake... It was bloody epic... I have clearly not lost my touch when it comes to cakes and sweets despite the fact I don't bake that often anymore. :-)

Around 5pm my guests will arrive, and then there will be lots and lots of scented candle talk, coffee and cakes. :-D After that, I'll pack the left-over cakes and go down to the LARP. Since peting73 will already be there (he'll leave early), I'll go by buss. Have gone by buss dressed as a vampire before with full vamp-makeup, so nothing new there. *grin* And then... LARP all night long! Rose has turned to stable lately. I have to figure out something really wicked for her to do... just to give a stir for the hell of it. ;-) Will be fun, I am sure! :-D

I wasn't in the mood to post cake-photos yesterday, but the photos are here.... so... There might be cake-photos sooner or later. ;-)
