This is KSena

Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

So, I went to the Doctor the other day. What with my menstrual cramps fucking up like there was no tomorrow last time I had my period. :-P We talked a bit about what was different, and so on and so forth. Even had to lie in that oh so fun gynecology chair. It is cold and uncomfortable, but really... I doubt I could show her anything she hasn't seen already. Just saying. So after a checkup I got a referral to another gynecologist at the hospital where they have better equipment, just to make sure there really isn't anything what with the Endometriosis I have. And get me better pain-killers. I hope there isn't anything wrong. I so don't wanna go down that road. Again. :-P

Today has been a somewhat busy day. :-P I am still re-marking books all day (5th week now...). This time at the smaller library, the school-library. This work is fucking up with my back, let me tell you. :-P I am not in pain, per say, but I feel very tired in my back and a bit stiff, you know? It does help that I nowadays walk to and from work. Takes 30min. Good for me. :-) And, strangely, it helps ease up the stiffness in my back. Books are damn heavy! I have carried heavy loads off books in my arms these weeks. Last night when going to bed I noticed I even got a bruise on my lower arm from the heavy books! Ha ha ha! X-D Dangerous business being a librarian, ain't it? Two more days off work with them books, and then this is part of the system-change is done.

Talking off my trainee work, yesterday I finally got a hold off my contact at the employment office. So, he and another lady from that local government office, is going to have a meeting about me and then decide if I can stay there until 28th of February at the longest. They also have to call my boss to see if I am doing anything useful and if they have a need off me at the libraries I am at.

......

Just today my boss and her boss told me that they couldn't have done this system-change in any off the libraries I am at without me and they wished they could hire me full-time for good. :-D Sadly they can't though, since there is a recruitment freeze in all the libraries in this city. :-/ Oh well. It feels good to be appreciated in any rate. :-) And after my trainee work is over, I'll stay in touch with them. For no other reason that they are quite awesome. :-)

Best friends...

*crosses fingers for second appointment to go well* When is it?

Recruitment freeze... We have it at the hospital too, and we´re starting to fear next year, when they´ll fire all substitutes... *shakes head* Not gonna work for long, let me tell you... :-/

Yeah, because it is not like your over-worked as it is already is it? So, how many off your collegues are heading towards that dreaded wall? I'll knock you over myself before you get there though... How many substitutes is there, btw? Sounds crazy to fire them all at the same time. :-P

I don't know when my second appointment is. :-P They'll send me a letter or call, I guess. Preferably before my next period... *crosses fingers*

Several, I´m afraid. Some of them because their work load is through the roof, and some others because they tend to get stressed when other people stress around...
Atm there are about 10 substitutes in, depending on how many of the regular crew´s on the sick-list.

As I might have said before: I work in a hospital, but it sure doesn´t mean it´s healthy being there!

Oh, you have pointed this out plenty off times. And your right. It is not a healthy workplace at all. Just slightly better then Transcom. But not with much.
