First day at my trainee job! And Tokio Hotel TV!

So, first day at my trainee job today. :-) They sure gave me stuff to do right away. I have a list off stuff to do at the library, so I won't be bored. Not to hard stuff, but still things, you know? In a couple off weeks I'll read fairytales for the 7 year olds at the school, which is going to be awesome. I dreamed about doing that even before I studied to be a librarian. :-) I am a bit nervous about it though. :-P I'll also be cleaning out old and broken books from the shelfs and I'll re-arrange a shelf. I took a lot of initiatives today which the librarian I'll be with thought was excellent. And she has kept telling me today how wonderful it is that I got the trainee job there. :-) It feels bloody brilliant. The only trouble we had was to get my hours to work, but we finally figured it out (I have to work 100% according to the rules of the local government office and the employment office and she only works 75-80%). But we found a solution in the end. I'll do a couple of hours at another library in fact, closer to home. So that is beyond awesome! Another library means meeting more librarians means getting more contacts within the library world here.

Only thing I do not like is the rules of the local government office, the employment office and well.. bureaucracy in general. I have to work 100%. At my last job I worked 75%. The money I get from the unemployment fund is only 80% of my 75% salary. With me so far? Alright. Well. I won't get any money from the unemployment fund since, well.. I have a trainee job. Perfectly OK with me. Instead I get it from the Swedish Social Insurance Administration. Alright. Thing is with the unemployment fund, you can only get money from them for a certain amount of days. So, I figured since I won't be getting money from them during my trainee job, I'd save up days there. HA! Oh, no, no, no... Those days are still counted down... Even though I don't get money from them. Makes sense don't it? Or not. Oh, and not to forget I am supposed to look for work 100% to.

Yeah. Right. Ehm. Bureaucracy. How I hate you. *sigh*

Anyway, to something more fun. And you'll have to deal with me posting about this every Thursday for... I don't know how long. :-P

There is a new episode of Tokio Hotel TV. :-D This time, the Kaulitz twins allowed the cameras to be with them on there 20th birthday. Epic. :-D Hell, if I had been a star since I was 15 I would probably be wealthy enough to rent an entire amusement park myself to! X-D And damn, they look like they are having fun! Especially Bill... He giggles like a little kid, I swear. X-D I couldn't stop smiling the entire time watching this. I understand why Georg gave up on them. Going on so many rides would give me a headache to. Impressed that Gustav kept up. *grin* ;-D

Dreams come true... And now it is party time! On Tokiohotel.Com HERE or on YouTube HERE.

Time for bed. I have an early start tomorrow!

Two green dragons...

he job sounds great. ^_^ The bureaucracy less so, though.

Omg awesome! You're doing such cool things. I always wished my library had a program where the kids were read to. They're so influential, I'm sure it'll be a great experience for them- especially with someone who loves fantasy/fairy tales as much as you do reading.

I'm so glad you're busy and happy at your new job, more so that you like it and you feel the work you do is worthwhile. This is the moment I've been waiting to see you have for so long!

Well, we did discuss to have a reading group for kids reading only fantasy... We'll see how that will work out. I mean, I'll only be there until December, so we'll see. :-)

Oh, I am very happy, even if it is only a trainee job, and not a real job. :-P
