This is KSena

Usually a friendly sort. Be nice to me, and I am nice to you. Here I ramble on about me, life, work and fandoms. I am a fan of Robin of Sherwood, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tokio Hotel and Sons of Anarchy. I don't apologize for anything I write here. This is my mind. And you entered it. Welcome.

And the adventure continues. :-D (Previously in Deadlands...)

Yep. Today we finished off our first adventure. Was awesomely fun!

After making sure everyone is OK by the church (and no one has turned into a zombie), where we last left off, our heroes hear a fight and a gunshot from the local saloon. Running there, they find that someone has dragged the owner a way. Rodrigez is a bit slower, being a tracker, and finds a strange trail, that he follows. Ending up finding one of the zombies... missing the lower half of her body. He becomes scared shit less, but being such an excellent shot he still manages to shoot her in between the eyes, hence killing her straight away. When Talutah Nita hears this, she runs back from the saloon to check on her friend (she might be a drunk, but she is a trusty friend). She finds Rodrigez, and they together decide to take it slower back to the saloon, seeing if they can find any more tracks. They don't. Until they get to the saloon where the whole floor is covered with grave-dirt. They investigate the saloon closely (especially Talutah Nita, who... closely investigates the bar... and the drinks... the expensive once... and a few bottles just happens to find there way down her pack... Oups?). While Talutah Nita and Rodrigez investigates the bar, Annie, Mose and Joseph are in a close fight with four zombies, who has in fact taken the owner of the bar to hang him in the same tree that all the others have been hanged in. The fighting is loud, and they manage to kill all four (after accidentally shopping them in half off, making half-zombies to fight.. Eww...). Since it was some way away from the city and the bar, the fight is over when Talutah Nita and Rodrigez gets there. All but Rodrigez is investigating the dead zombies and the hurt bar-owner to see that the hanging tree... is gone. Poff. When Rodrigez points it out though, all see it. And the tracks the tree has left behind. Trees are not supposed to walk around, but they follow the tracks anyway, all five of them. They find it to. And the tree ain't happy. It creates nooses from tin air and manages to catch Talutah Nita, who is quick-thinking enough to grab hold of the rope so she can still breath and then cutting herself down with her bowie-knife. It catches Annie James to, but she manages to cut herself down as well with her axe that she swings. A fierce fight starts. It is not hard to shoot the tree, but it is a tree and is not taking much damage. Until the mad scientist, Joseph Smith, throws a Molotov cocktail on it. And then the miner takes one off his dynamites and throws on the tree. After that, not much fight left in the evil tree, and it dies after a few more shoots. (During the fight, Rodrigez blacks out and shots Joseph Smith, who promptly falls over... not dead, but passed out.) All being a bit hurt, they limp back to the city, with the saved bar-owner and Joseph Smith, finding a doctor who can help them. Buffalo Annie James (who likes to brag), tells everyone who wants to listen how she was the one to save the city. The citizens of the village is scared witless though, since they have never seen a walking dead, and are just simple farmers and townsfolk. Our heroes gets a reward for helping them none the less. A free stay at the saloon (and yes, free drinks to, something Talutah Nita immediately takes advantage off), and also some dollars.

And there we left them for this time around. :-) A little break in the playing, I think. So, until next them we'll let them sleep and dream off alcohol. At least thats what Talutah Nita will do. ;-)

I had a lot of fun. :-D It is quite awesome to do roleplaying with LARPers, since we all are used to act out our characters with our whole bodies. Something that gives a lot of life to the game. Also, there is a lot of laughing and silliness, of course, since we are all good friends. :-D Can't wait to see what will happen the next time. ;-)

It is a lot of fun. :-) Only thing needed is some rules, some good friends and a vivid imagination. ;-)
